Are the Jets calling up someone to replace Pardy?With Stuart out, our starting D men are Buff, Enstrom, Chiarot, Trouba, Myers and Postma....do they call up a D man?

I didn't think we would be 3rd last at the TD. Still, I'm optimistic of the team's future with the quality youngsters in the organization.

It gets really interesting after the 13 minute mark...Friesen starts it off around 11:30. I really like what he has to say about developing young players around the 14:30 mark. Also, not at all sorry about playing the youngsters this season. Talks about the captaincy. Talked a lot about finance too. Not worried of another team offer-sheeting a player (Trouba). Talks about RFAs. I think we will see a minimum of 2 and maybe 3 more rookies next year. Connor should be a lock. Petan should have a really good shot. Morrissey should have a good shot. They'll probably season Comrie another year on the Moose but I think we have a potential allstar goaltending tandem in a couple years with those two goalies. Lemieux and Lipon will make them think long and hard where they should be playing. I think we see Hellebuyck and Connor and one of Petan or Lemieux at least start with the team next season.

Say what you want about Stemp, he is their leading points-getter and on pace for a 53 point season. I don't know why someone would compare him to Wheeler though...

I just think he has a higher ceiling, I am not calling Dano down at all.

We need more D depth in the system....after Morrissey and maybe Kostalek, there isn't much there.

Ryan Pulock is playing his first game tonight for the Isles. Showcasing him for a trade or just an authentic call up? He's going to be a good D man, maybe Snow is looking at him because he is moving Hamonic or another one of his D men?

You mean like Deadmonton? Chychrun would start on the Jets for the start of the 2017-2018 season at the latest....some analysts are saying he is NHL ready right now. No way should we take any other player than Chychrun if we are drafting lower than 3rd (unless something unforeseen happens).

Show me an article that says his ceiling is higher than Crouse's....something else you are making up?

Enstrom, Burmi and Dano is a huge over payment.

The first ti me the Jets got 2nd. Love to see Pardy and Burmi moved. It is time to let Postma see what he can do in another organization because he's not going to get a shot with this one. Chiarot has been underwhelming this year to be polite. I wouldn't miss him. I'd rather see Stuart move though. If he is traded, that is another excuse to give Scheif the A. Pavs for Hiller straight across. Hutch, Stu a 3rd and Postma to the Canes for Fleury. Pardy and Burmi to Jersey for a 2nd in 2016 and a 3rd in 2018.

He might be over-rated but his ceiling is as high or higher than Dano's and his bottom is a very good, very big, 3rd LWer.

I'd add Myers, Hutch or Pavs, and even Stu to that list. Something tells me Stu won't be wearing the A next year and we will see Scheif with an A with the C on Wheeler and the other A on Buff or Trouba. I thought Chevy said the other day that everyone was meeting in Winnipeg after today's game??? change of plans... Expect more bodies to leave.........Come on Chevy... Myers and Staf to Florida for Crouse, a 2016 1st, 2017 2nd and Matheson or McCoshen

If Ladd plays lights out they might try to find a way....Bowman is scary good. He's as good a GM as his dad was a coach. I doubt it though. I'd take that trade with Florida over what we did easily. Wouldn't have to think about it. With some of the Jets' prospects on the smaller side, Crouse would even that up a bit. I don't believe Chevy would take Dano and an inferior (probably) pick over that trade with Florida. Vrbata and Hamhuis are probably coming off of the books and that is a saving of 9.5m and Prust at 2.5m.

I think every team not in the playoffs are involved in the lottery this year. I just ran the simulator 50 times and the Jets were 6 x 1sts and 7x 2nds and 6x3rds...21% of picking top 3.....if we pick lower than 3rd, I hope Chevy takes Chychrun.

If the Jets make a trade involving Drouin and Myers, it had better be TB adding and not the Jets. Myers would bring back much more than Ladd this off-season. Save him for the Hamonic trade. Petan, Staf, Chicago's 1st and either Postma or Chiarot and that's probably too much. I think Staf could get you the return Hudler did. I'd take a 2nd and a 4th.

Armia needs to play with some talent. If he is lined up with the right linemates next year, he could be really good.

If Staf is playing Monday, he won't be traded until the off-season...I hope.

3rd last which is where they will finish, give or take a spot. Going to be hard to outdo TO here.
