I'd rather have all 3 of them but if I had to pick only two, Myers would be the odd man out....Buff was playing hurt tonight and was on the ice for 27:46.... is that enough emotional and physical involvement? Re-sign Buff. Trade Myers and Petan or something for Hamonic. Trouba-Buff and Hamonic-Enstrom isn't bad. I'd say Scheif more than Trouba or Lowry deserves a long term deal but I wouldn't sign any of those 3 to one. Offer them 2 year deals that are fair...Scheif gets 3.75 and 4.25...Trouba gets the same and Lowry gets 3.75 a year for two years...tell them to show how much they are worth for 2 years and guarantee them you will pay them what they are worth. Trade Ladd and a high pick and whatever else we need for a solid LHD, I won't be sad to see him leave.

I thought it was the best game I have seen Ladd play this season. He had some jump tonight. The APE line looked good. The bottom two lines were a mishmash of D men and Moose players and 4th liners that got the job done. Pardy has 2 shots on goal as a winger!!!!! When was the last time he played a game? I'm not sure I would call this game boring. the 2nd period was a lot of fun to watch and the last 3 minutes of the game had me on the edge of my seat. After Pavs is back from the Moose, Hutch is gone.

Like I said earlier, Trouba hasn't shown enough to deserve anything but a two year bridge deal. If you front load a 6 year deal for Buff I think he would sign. I'd still trade Ladd and Myers but I know the Jets won't trade Myers.

I like what Ehlers and Armia are showing tonight. Armia on the PP was very patient with the pick and also with 2 minutes to go in the 2nd, he let a boomer go that Dubnyk stopped. Lots of get up and go for a team that played last night. I hope it holds out for the third. Buff is playing hurt. The fact that Helle is starting is pretty telling. I thought he was going to start him. Maurice has lost confidence in Hutch an dI don't blame him. Hutch to the farm or traded as soon as Pavs comes back from his conditioning stint.

Plus, there are no more 2 line passes because instead of waiting at the Red line............he's be at the opposition's Blue line.

Myers plays a soft game and Trouba and Buff don't and Enstrom isn't scaring anyone. Trouba-Enstrom and Hamonic-Morrissey as our first D men would look nice.

Trouba can generate offense and so should Morrissey and whatever we get back (LHD) from Buff.

Actually, he is a great 4th liner and never complains about anything....a real team guy. I'm probably too hard on him when it'snot his fault he is played further up the lines than he probably should be. Lemieux, Copp and Thorbs next year might not be too bad for a 4th line.

Myers is our 3rd best RHD and would get back quite a bit in a trade......don't get me wrong, I'd only trade him if Buff was re-signed; however, if Buff leaves, I'd wrap Myers up in a deal for Hamonic. Why should we keep him just because he has a great contract? For everyone saying we should trade Enstrom, tell me who your top 3 LHD would be? Stu, Chiarot and Pardy/Morrissey?

First of all, Wheeler was saying things that Maurice was preaching in the locker room. Second of all, some franchise D men weren't even in the league at Trouba's age. How old was Duncan Keith when he started with Chicago? 22? 23? He is already a 2RHD at 21 for God's sake! Keeping on pointing out that he isn't the same since Bogo left is assinine. Doesn't taking on a bigger role and playing against the other team's top players since Bogo left have any bearing on it? He started the season off slow but so did Myers.......Myers have a problem off ice too? Was Myers out of shape too? Trouba has played better since not paired with Stuart so maybe his off ice problems stopped when he was paired with Buff? Gimme a break!!!! What about Ladd? he must be throwing nose candy up his nose between shifts!!!!!!!! Lowry??? His off ice problems were so bad they sent him to the Moose!!!!!!!!!! Don't even start about Hutch's poor year.... He's probably supplying the stuff to Ladd and Lowry and Myers and Trouba!!!!!!!
