No use to get serious with someone before they see the list is there?
-
This from LeBrun... "Speaking of partial no-trade clauses, Dustin Byfuglien has one as well and, as of Tuesday afternoon, has not been asked to supply a list of teams. He might not ever have to if the Winnipeg Jets end up re-signing the pending UFA star blueliner. I don’t think there’s any way Byfuglien signs for any less than five years in length, so I believe the internal debate for Winnipeg is whether it’s comfortable with that term or not. Byfuglien turns 31 on March 27." So, Chevy must not have many serious trade discussions with him if he hasn't been asked to hand in his list?

How big of a pile of USD do you think they bought when the price was around par? These guys aren't stupid. I'd honestly rather see them trade both Buff and Ladd than trade just Buff and sign Ladd to an extension.

When did CFL refs start moonlighting in the NHL.... this is an embarrassment to the league and also to hockey in general. Jets didn't play that well but Wheeler's goal would have tied it. Too bad it took that incident to wake up the crowd. (or is it me?) Maurice should show a montage of selfish, me before the team, penalties that these millionaires make regularly and then show the goals being scored on the ensuing PP. Then, he should just say that it stops now or there will be consequences. Buff goes out and takes one of his patented dumb penalties???? ... he sits for the duration of the game. End of the game penalty like Myers' tonight? Like Goalie said, he sits next game. These players have been told and I guess now they have to be shown that you don't take those kinds of penalties. I'm guessing it must shame a player to be sat especially for a selfish penalty. No excuses, no exceptions, you sit. Regardless of this paragraph, Stuart should sit. How can you lead and be a piss poor player? He's pathetically horrible. The Sharks played a close game last night in Calgary and traveled here while the Jets waited and this is the best they could come up with? Some of that has to be on Maurice. Helle was okay and Wheeler and Staf were really good. Ehlers probably had his best game. Did I see him knock someone off the puck early this game???? This team misses Scheifele BIG time. The Sharks' PK is quite aggressive and maybe the Jets should look at this type of PK. Pressure them instead of laying b ack and hoping to block a shot or get your stick on the puck. Stalock looked like a bus hit him when he went down.... is he European? http://video.jets.nhl.com/videocenter/ go to the Wheeler video, he says it at the beginning and talks about it for quite awhile.

Enstrom lets Thorton at the puck and then Lowry takes a penalty..............
-
nah, too rough of a schedule at the end of the season......finish 25th or 26th.
-
I'd like to see them get a high draft pick this year......top 3 would be nice. I doubt they make the playoffs this season.

to the moose

The Sharks played late last night, the Jets have to take advantage of this.
-
Ladd will get significantly more than 4m.
-
I'd like to see Maurice switch Armia and Thorbs tonight.
-
ya it was from yesterday's H&L....... didn't think he would say anything too revealing.

The NHL can always nix a conditioning stint if they think the club is doing it for the wrong reasons.
-
Ehlers can still play in junior so no.
-
A Player who is on a Conditioning Loan is included on a Club's Active Roster.
-
pretty sure it counts as a spot on the big team too.
-
13.8 Conditioning Loan. Unless a Player consents, he shall not be Loaned on a Conditioning Loan to a minor league club. Such Conditioning Loan shall not extend for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days. The Commissioner may take whatever steps he deems necessary to investigate the circumstances under which a Player is Loaned on a Conditioning Loan. If the Commissioner has reason to believe or determines that the Club has used the Conditioning Loan to evade the Re-Entry Waivers, or otherwise Circumvent any provision of this Agreement, he may take such disciplinary action against the Club, as he deems appropriate. The Player shall continue, during the period of such Conditioning Loan, to receive the same Paragraph 1 NHL Salary, and be entitled to the same benefits, that he would have received had he continued to play with the Club. this is from 2013.

Maybe another team wants to see Postma in game action?

They're saying MP is probable now and Scheif is out 5-7 days??? The knock on Armia was his consistence, his habit of taking shifts off. I haven't seen that here once. Sidenote.... lots of Sabres' fans calling for a hearing/suspension for that Buff hit on Reinhart?. Anyone have a link to a video for it?
-
Not verified at all but if you listen to the analysts, he'll get more than Petan. He asked for a trade in November so, I am guessing Chevy has inquired what it would take; however, Drouin making it public puts a bit of spin on it hurting Yzerman's leverage with other teams. Drouin is on an ELC. TB has the leverage with Drouin. I'd trade De Leo and Petan for Drouin but I'd rather see Ladd wrapped up in a trade if we are going to make one. Petan and De Leo are playing well on the Moose right now, let them develop. Wow, you'd take Petan over Ehlers? Not me.

Armia is traveling on planes, getting much larger pay checks and is in the big leagues, I am betting he is willing to do just about anyting he is asked to do. If MP is out, who is Maurice going to put in his slot with Ehlers playing the other wing. Maurice has stated that Scheif is back for next game. edit* I see Scheif is out.

I don't want to give them an excuse but, they have had a **** schedule this year and (it gets way worse in March-April) lots of players started off really slow. If something isn't affecting Ladd's game (injury?) he needs to be traded ASAP before he diminishes further. He isn't worth 4.5m this year never mind the numbers he must want.

What's wrong with Wheeler, Ladd, Thorbs, Lowry, etc...? They can't "crash" the net? I agree with the fact we need some players in front of the net and getting some traffic in front of them. I saw a comparison of where shots were taken from by Ladd and Ehlers and they were at the same amount of shots apiece. Ehlers' were almost all perimeter shots and a big majority of Ladd's came from within 10 feet of the goal line.
