Stafford has 39 points in 65 games Myers has 30 points in 63 games Armia has a handful of games in him but doesn't look out of place...I think his ceiling is 2nd line and not sure if he will or not Lemieux has 14 points in 11 games with the Colts and now has 15 points in 8 games with the Spitfires for 29 points in 19 games... I think he for sure plays on the 4th and maybe the 3rd line Roslovic is playing well and has 18 points in 18 games Kaner has 13 points in 29 games Bogo has 12 points in 43 games Kasdorf has played 12 games and is 5-5-1 with a 2.12 GAA and .934 sv% It looks like up to this date that Winnipeg has gotten the better deal. Bogo and Kaner have missed games to injury and been inconsistent. The Jets have gotten more man games and points from the trade.... I see Kane moving on before his contract is done and Bogo getting traded before his is done too... they need a LHD as much as we do. If Kane starts to click with someone the trade could easily swing their way. It also depends how well Roslovic and Lemieux and Armia turn out.......As far as getting Staf as a rental as an UFA, what are the chances we sign him if he doesn't come here in the trade and play here? Not much... Myers and Bogo being a wash? Not even close but different type of players. It looks like up to this date that Winnipeg has gotten the better deal.

We have a ton of young assets and picks and players and we need a LHD. Stuart is horrible and so is Chiarot. I don't care what you guys say about "what do you expect from a 3rd pair D", he is a liability and so is Chiarot. Is Postma really that bad that he can't replace one of these guys? Nine minutes a game is WAY too much for these two clowns to see the ice never mind the time they are seeing. I don't think you need to sell the farm but we do need some help. Helle seems to have helped in goal now we need help at LHD Chevy.

I missed only the first two minutes of the 3rd period and have to admit I had trouble keeping track of the lines. How many lines did Armia play on? When is Pavs back? Our next back to back is Jan. 14-15 at home against Nashville and then Minny away. If Pavs is back by then, I can see Maurice playing Helle (if he doesn't crap the bed) until Pavs is back and giving Pavs the Minny game. Second game of a back to back and an away game too. Maybe Hutch has played his last game as a Jet? How much confidence and loyalty can you show someone (nobody mention Stuart)? He isn't getting the job done and I know he wasn't responsible for all the goals tonight but he was part of the problem. He's won one game since October 29, the 21st of November in the game Pavs was hurt and and he played the last period and picked up the W.....otherwise he hasn't won since October 29 in Chicago.....that's October 29, 2015...... If I'm the GM, he's going to the Moose as soon as Pavs is back playing for the Jets. Let him "ripen" some more down there. Pavs is a vet and can back up Helle the rest of the year and step in if he falters. We aren't making the playoffs this year. Get Helle as much time as he can, without burning him out, and let him see as many situations as he can. Pavs would have to steal the net from Helle when he gets back and I can't see him doing that. I'd be fine having Pavs as a back up next year. Nope, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we have seen Hutch in his last game tonight. If this team is going to become a contender one day, it will be with Helle/Comrie as the goaltenders.

Stu and Chiarot are 7/8 D man at best.... Chiarot is having a very bad game. We need LHD help. Why won't Maurice try a Wheeler Scheif line this year? They were great together last year. Put Armia or Ehlers on the left side and see what's there. Lowry can center Ladd and Little. Burmi between Staf and Perreault? Burmi is having a good game.

Been a few non-calls on the Ducks. Hutch has GOT to be better. Chiarot is worse than Stuart. Scheif hasn't seen the ice enough in my opinion.

He has lots of value. Lots of talent too but I agree, much too small. If Petan were 4 inches taller, he would have went 1st round. I hope Kesler goes after Scheif and Buff pounds him.

Not going to get him for Stuart and a 1st never mind Stuart and a 3rd. He's a year older than Ehlers. He has about 40 points in 89 games in the NHL. Ehlers has 13 in 38. If Ehlers startd off slowly and was shipped to the Moose, would you trade him for Stu and a 1st?

I'd rather give them a LWer like say.................LADD in the deal. Koekkoek coming back would be nice..........Ladd + ?? for Koekkoek and Drouin?

Oh ya, nice to see Ehlers get one, he's used to scoring all the time and this must have been wearing on him.

I'd definitely put Burmi on LW on the 4th. Armia has earned the right for a look at 3rd line minutes hasn't he? He seems to play smart defensively and I liked how after he lost the puck at the Sharks' blue line, he hustled back and checked the guy and took the puck off of him. Maurice loves players like that. He's been a high end point producer before arriving here and sure has the height. Scheif should tell him about Roberts and get some meat on him. Ladd Lowry Armia would look good. Size, D smarts, some scoring...

They say he asked for it in November.... Hard to see Yzerman giving up that much future, especially if Buff isn't re-signed. If Buff leaves, I can see Florida making a play for him in UFA but maybe not so much at TD.

I didn't say we shouldn't stop taking penalties....you are saying I said something I didn't. If you played goal, why are you having trouble grasping the concept that the goalie is the most important PKer? I know they shouldn't be taking that many penalties but we are talking penalty killers. Why point out the game against only Arizona? He's played 12 games and won 8 of them...a .667 winning percentage. That'd get you close to 110 points in a season.

It'd be nice to get young NHL ready or almost ready defenseman in a deal including Ladd but I think he re-signs. Lawless asked him a question and he basically said he knew if he hadn't re-signed by the TD, he'd be traded. Someone like Theodore or Juulsen or Mueller or Fleury or Sanheim.

There's 30 coached in the NHL that will agree the goalie is the most important PKer there is.....strange you wouldn't agree?
