I still think he stars on the wing with Lowry. If he p lays shitty and the Jets want to trade him, what are they going to get for a Russkie that plays poorly. I think his game improves once the season starts andhe has regular linemates. If it doens't, buh-bye.

I think it is more like Petan replacing Frolik. Both of them can play almost anywhere in the lineup...

Frolik = 3.3m. Burmi = 1.55m. Burmi will get better as the year goes on or he won't play....Maurice is not going to play him just because he was a 1st rounder. Lotsa upcoming talent in the next 2 years that will make the team. Lipon, Lemieux, Armia, Connor, Roslovic, Harkins, Morrissey, etc...

Harrison played better than Pardy if you ask me. Burmi will be on the starting roster. Plus, he will NEVER clear waivers if he is waived. Peluso will be with the club on the opening road trip but not sure how much he will play. Chevy just signed him to a two year, one way contract. I would love to see Lipon and Raffl play instead of Thorbs and Peluso but it won't happen just yet.

You think Burmi will be the 13th? Maurice will play Lipon in front of Burmi????? not a chance. What happens with Peluso? Harrison, Postma, Pardy?????????

I thought Lipon and Raffl played well too. What are we going to get for Burmi? I can't believe he is traded at this point.

Burmi didn't play well but he will playon the 3rd line....Petan and Ehlers make the team and so shold Harrison. Didn't like Postma's game either. Stafford played well as did Trouba.

Let's see if we need Peluso when St. Louis starts manhandling some of our players. Peluso will dress for certain games andI bet one of them is in the first road trip.

I can't see him making the team over Petan or Copp or Olsen. He will be offered a 2 way contract and spend the season with the Moose.

He has a good chance to the starter but it is not written in stone. Everyone thinks it is a foregone conclusion that he will be a star and start in goal but there has been many goalies that came more highly touted than Helle that haven't lived up to expectation. Montoya comes to mind. 6th overall pick and how many teams was he the starter for?

They are both a liability if you ask me. Was Pardy paired with Stuart? Did Pavs play the whole game?

I'd change the 5 years from now to 3 years from now. If they are re-signed, that will be the 2nd year of their new contract. There's lots of unsigned players going into this year that will be UFAs at the end of this season. I'd be more concerned if it was Christmas and they weren't signed yet. Ladd 38 over 6. 7, 7, 7, 6, 5.5, 5.5, Buff 32 over 4. 8.5, 8.5, 8, 7. Trade em both, Morrissey and Lemieux will take their place!!!!!!!!!!!

Fraser was signed to play for the Moose. I would be surprised to see him play 10 games with the Jets.

Joel Armia ... didn't do enough to keep up with the big team...played good D, would have like to have seen him play with some more offensively talented players. He'll get 1st or 2nd line ice ti me with the Moose. Eric Comrie ... nobody expected him to make the team. I think he showed well and I would have graded him high in game time. Chase De Leo ... big surprise for me he was sent down this early. I thought he played well every chance he got. Scott Kosmachuk ... didn't have a good young stars tourney and didn't do much in preseason. Jan Kostalek ... I think he played pretty good and has a good chance to make the big team in a few years. Josh Morrissey ... To me, the biggest dissapointment of camp as I thought he had a really good chance of sticking before the young stars tourney. Ryan Olsen ... This guy opened my eyes. I can see him on the 4th line within a year. Smart player. Lemieux ... I didn't expect him to make the big team but he played pretty good. Needs to improve on his skating. Too bad the Moose isn't an option. I think 2 or 3 of these players would make some teams in the league and just because they aren't starting with the Moose doesn't mean they won't be called up this season. I'm thinking the reason some of these players won't get a 9 game look is because the Jets need every single point they can get to make the playoffs. It would be nice not to meet the Ducks in the 1st round again. Loved Maurice's comments after the game when asked by a reporter, that judging by your comments, you have some frustration with your opponents tonight, he said, "No, no, I'm just honored to be in the same building with them tonight." hahahahhahhaha

I'd argue that Ladd, on ice, can be replaced easier than Buff.
