TUP, Where do you see Armia starting? Hali was signed for the Moose, also an emergency call up guy. Fraser = Moose. No way Fraser plays any serious time with the big team. If Thorbs, Peluso and Hali are hurt, they MIGHT call up Fraser but I doubt it. Ladd - Little - Wheeler Perreault - Scheifele - Stafford Burmi - Lowry - Ehlers Thorburn - Copp - Armia

TC will be more than niteresting this year. I can see 3 rookies making the team at the forward psotion. Two for sure. I think Petan starts with the Mosse. TC will tell.
-
Yup, not a chance he is going back to Junior.....

Comrie didn't have a very good 3rd period at all. He was on his knees for all 4 goals but played poorly in the 3rd. Didn't make the save when the team needed it like the the first two periods. Ehlers was very good in the 3rd and is a VERY smart player. I wonder what he would look like with Scheifele as his center? Knocked one off the post in the third that rang the bell. NHL speed and shot. Very smart player too. Interested to see what he will look like against NHL caliber players. Copp plays a good game and showed he has O smarts, not only D smarts. Not much of a sample size and they played with sub NHL caliber players (both sides) but I would think Petan and Morrissey both start with the Moose. This could change if they play a better game at TC. Morrissey looked uninterested at times....not focused. I'd really like to see Morrissey make the team this year. Maybe they'd trade Stuart?

Copp and Comrie having good games after two periods. Ehlers and Harkins really need to learn to use their line mates. Most of the Jets D men suck egg.

The Mooseheads have their two imports so not sure if he is going back there...

Kosmo had poor game if you ask me.....two poor games now.

http://www.tsn.ca/video/cheveldayoff-playoff-success-not-a-given~703446 Chevy has a lot to say and it is a good interview by McKenzie. It sounds like Armia and Ehlers and Petan (mentions his play at LW) will be given every chance to make the team this year. Talks highly of Copp, too. Sounds to me like Morrissey might not start with the Jets. I like the way he says Trouba and Scheifele being a big part of the club's future. Sounds to me like he will match any offer given these two by other teams. I'd like to see him get those two and Hutch and Lowry all locked up before next July. He also talks about the team playing how Maurice wants them to play how certain members (Wheeler, Ladd, Little) play within the team aspect of the game. McKenzie said a number of Western Conference coaches said the Jets were, bar none, the hardest team to play against physically. Didn't know where to post this...

Patrick Kane Under Investigation - Alleged Rape
Ducky replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Kanes' cap hit is 10.5m per year......same as Toews. -
That's cool...everyone's entitled to their opinion. Hope you now understand what "about" means. That's cool...everyone's entitled to their opinion. Hope you now understand what "about" means. about means almost or on the verge of...450 is NOT almost or on the verge of 500.

Helle played not bad but not many players stood out for playing very well. Morrissey had his moments but he also had plays he would just as soon forget. De Leo looked good again. Is Comrie getting tomorrow's game?
-
And if he lights it up there's zero chance we get him. He's an established CFL QB. We know what we're getting. This isn't a CFL rookie making his first career start. Well, you are saying 500k. How would that shake out? 300k for Muamb and 200k for Nichols? That is a tad generous, no?
-
Wouldn't that line combe put Staf on the 3rd line....4.35m per year is lots for a 3rd liner. 4th lone spots are interesting this year. Anxious to watch the game that's coming on.
-
Closer to 420k....Nichols for 185k and Muamba for 235k. Let's watch Nichols for a few more games before signing him long term though, okay?
-
I don't see him playing 4th line or unseating Lowry. I think he complements Lowry well though. Ehlers start on that line too?
-
Why RW over LW?
-
Lirim was sub-par...
-
I think Burmi would have to play lights out to push Lowry to 4th lne center. as stated befoe, more likely is is LW on Lowry's line.
-
McCambridge said, after the game, that Olsen was the best player on the ice for the Jets.
-
ya, Olsen was good too.

Helle let in a weak one but otherwise not bad...Petan and Morrissey really stuck out as did Lemieux. Lemieux could work on his game when he doesn't have the puck. He was caught out of position a couple of times but what a pest!!!!!! Good stick on his goal and lots of agitating. Esa Tikanen 2.0? Comrie was good. I thought Harkins played very well and was really impressive, especially for an 18 year old. Could use his linemates more maybe. Seems like I noticed that a bit today from both teams. They aren't going to be able to dipsy doodle like that in the NHL. Not most of them anyway.

http://video.jets.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=1407&id=833763 Lemieux gets our first goal.
-
1 year left on his contract but the Canes sure didn't give up much. I guess they have enough to sign Kruger now. If Kane is out for any extended period of time, I think the Hawks will be in tough to make the playoffs.
-
I'd be willing to bet he is in the same shape as TC last year. I'm glad I don't have to make the decisions Chevy does.

The Thrashers traded away their futures and the Jets are just starting to come out of that fiasco.
