I would say that Buffalo almost equals or surpasses our injury woes.....let's not forget Trouba wasn't here for some of these games too. I was just pointing out that it is early and you also have to look at the ampunt of games played and the games in hand when you are looking at standings.

Neither Burmi nor Thorbs should dress once guys are back from injury.

Somebody must have told Ehlers to shoot more before that game or is it just me? He seemed to take a LOT of shots.

Jets in 3rd place with the teams behind them having games in hand. This is why I wasn't too excited about them being in 2nd place....especially this early in the season. Minnesota is a point back with 3 games in hand.

It is a stronger line up though. They have lost 7 games and 2 in OT and won 9. 20 points is okay (especially considering the injuries) but that is an average team not a good team. Also, the central division isn't doing as well as prior years with 55 wins out of 114 games and the Jets have played more games than anyone in the league besides Calgary. I think they will be a pretty good team when healthy though. It'll be interesting to see what a healthy Jets' lineup looks like.

I would sooner lose Lowry because it isn't that much of a step down to COpp and I think Armia will be a VERY good player in the NHL and I think Dano will too....Lowry? 4th line center on a good team.

I would be more I'm happy to see him play one game out of every six of the remaining schedule to end his career with the team.

BS...he is dressed because of injuries and if not, he plays because he is a leader in the room and you cannot lead if you don't play sometimes....he is not needed.

My point was that in the old days somebody would have went after Morrissey's head in the game but nowadays that doesn't happen hardly ever. Make a valid argument why Thorbs should be dressed...because he needs to get in 7 or 8 fights in a season? pffffffttt The only reason he is dressed is because we have a million injuries and even at that I would dress De Leo over him.

Because there is so much fighting in today's hockey.
