Should the Jets go after some UFAs this upcoming summer? LHD is a concern even with the great play of Morrissey. Enstrom is gone after next season and the dropoff is very steep after that. Alzner 2.8 and Del Zotto 3.875 are two players I would be talking to. Alzner will be getting a raise but would be great on the left side. If Chevy signed alzner for 5 or 6 years, our LH side is looking pretty good with him and Morrissey. Del Zotto is good in his zone and a really good skater but might want too much. 3.875 is about right for him. What about Center? Little's injury is showing us the lack of depth in that position. Tavares? I doubt it. Martin Hanzal for 3 years? 3.1m currently. Berglund for 5 years? 3.7m currently. Wait for Roslo and re-sign Little?

I know the rules but why don't we have enough forwards if those two sit?

I'd rather have Okposo. Averaged over 61 points a year for the last 3 seasons and is three years younger.

Rather sit Burmi and Thorbs and play Dano and Copp. ESW Laine MP Armia Connor Lowry Dano Tanev Copp ??? Help me out...who am I forgetting? Are the Jets able to call up one more player? What is Stu's status?

Whether he saw it or not or if it changed direction, we need better goaltending than under .900 against the Caps or against anybody really. Helle has a very average .914 this season and is 19th best in the league but I fully expect him to do better as he ages and I still see him and Comrie as our goalies when the Jets are hoisting the cup in spring of 2020.

Thorbs and Burmi can sit, let Dano and Copp start. Start Helle again and put Hutch in for Friday.

I think Matthias and Staf going down might be a blessing in disguise....Little too for that matter...Jets are not winning the cup this year so why not finally give Dano a fair shake? Why not call up Copp and dress him? Little going down exposes our depth in NHL ready centers. Roslo has been semi-hot, why not give him a few games as 3C between Armia and Connor plus a bigger payday to get his fire burning a bit more? How did Burmi play tonight by the way?

The biggest problem in tonight's game is we have 2 starting D men out as well as our 1C and we lose another player early. That and Holtby.

Hutch starting? Dano starting? Copp starting?

I'm not pinning the loss on Helle but goaltending is again one of the reasons we are not doing well again this year.

The Jets need better goaltending. We need above average goaltending to be a better team not below average. I'm not saying cut him or ship him to the Moose because it takes time for a goalie to grow into his game but how can you argue we don't need better goaltending? How many games have our tenders won us this season? 1 maybe? What was Helle's sv% this game? .889? Giving up 2.90 goals a game isn't up to snuff.

Why was Thorbs dress to play 4:35 seconds? Saw the first goal....wow, Helle has to stop that, this is the NHL. We need better goaltending. With Matthias down, they had better call up Copp and play him and Dano.

Missed the game again...turned on the cell in the movie theater and it was 2-0...turned it on when show is over and it is 2-2. I tell my better half the score and look at the phone again and it is 3-2! How did Helle play?

The Isles screwed up...they let Okposo go and he signed for 6m for 7 years. They signed Ladd for 5.5m for 7 years. Ladd has 1 point in 9 games and Okposo has 7 points in 7 games. Okposo is younger and better as well. I know they play opposite wings but why not re-sign Okpsos?

Lawless asks a couple of valid questions and Maurice treats him like a leper.....wtf? edit... what he pretty much says is that Dano is better off sitting than playing 4th line minutes...wtf? Buff Morrissey Postma Enstrom Melchiori Chiarot wow...Mel had a couple of pretty not too bad dames at the end of last year but he also had games that showed why he is in the AHL. I do like how he clears the front of the net though. Are they playing Chiarot or Melchiori on the LH side?

Why call up Dano if he isn't going to play?

He was picked around 8th overall. Seriously, why is he dressing? Trade him for whatever you can get.
