Not if they have RNH and Nurse in the lineup. Nurse has 1D potential and Trouba is not yet a 1D. He may no have the O that Trouba has but is nastier and probably a better defensive player than Trouba is. Lemieux will be a solid 3rd winger but we have a plethora of LWers. RNH is the player I am most interested in. 5 years at 6 m per and an elite two way player. One of the very best defensive centers in the league. Think of what we could do with the lineup once Little gets back and I am not even talking about Roslo yet. For Atomic's sake... Also, Nurse is expansion draft exempt. We lose a 1st a 2nd and a soon to be 3rd winger and a D that doesn't want to be here. We get RNH (23) for 5 seasons and Nurse (21) controlled for 5 years. The Oilers probably wouldn't do that deal but I would throw in Petan or a 2nd in 2018.

If I am not mistaken, Morrissey has quarterbacked a PP quite a bit in other levels of hockey. I'd much sooner see him on there than Myers.

Does anyone think Myers' play of late is because of the Trouba situation or is it just healing from surgeries or both? He was playing like garbage but has picked up his game. I still don't like him on the PP but he is much improved the last 2-3 games.

Did anyone notice Laine going over and having words with the Stars' player after the Stars' player hit Enstrom in yesterday's game? I loved it. I don't give a shite who your team mate is or how big or small or young or old he is, you stick up for a team mate...period. Buff has that in him and so does Stuart and Thorbs.

I think Chiarot is the worse D man we are carrying this year....judging by this year's play. As far as Petan is concerned, I think it is time to give him a chance....I honestly don't think he will make the Jets full time....ever. He has put in some time and deserves a game or two though. I have been saying to include Petan in a trade for over a year now.
