Staf is hampering a younger players' development if you ask me and even if we were going to make the playoffs this year, we aren't going all the way.....management knows this.

Jcon, I just think we need a type of center that Petan is and not the game that Copp plays and I think De Leo should be called up when the team is playing well which it isn't...Petan is the type of center we need right now if his D game has improved...give him a shot and see where his progression is...you can always send him backdown.

But he does not believe the Jets are keeping the restricted free agent defenceman waiting out of spite. Well, they've put 5000 more in their seats than we have so what is the worry.....the no sell out on the opener with TO in town has to concern them though.

Armia will be a 2nd 3rd tweener but on this team when the youngsters mature, he will be a 3rd liner.

we need a good playmaking defensively sound center like Little or RNH or Staal or someone like that.

Burmi an no way should be our 3C....

Everyone is mixing and matching and wondering where pieces of the puzzle fit. That doesn't do or say anything for our D our C depth though.

The bolded should be "as expected" although he wasn't too bad last night. Trouba was/is slotted in as a partner to Buff... Trouba Buff is way better than Morrissey Buff...Morrissey has been good and has been consistent too if you ask me. The team is missing Trouba and Little and it is showing......what happens if/when MP goes down??? Burmi as 2C and Lowry 3C and Copp 4C? I guess Petan might be given a shot...we need C depth almost as bad as D depth. Connor needs to worry about his D game, his O game is fine...he needs to be smarter in his own zone and worry about his check.

Let's not forget that Ehlers is a RWer playing LW. Maurice has stated that eventually he will go back to the right side... Our depth at center is not good. It is a reach to expect Roslo to play 2C and even if he does, it won't be this year or next... Trouba, Petan, Chiarot and a 1st for RNH and Nurse.

Wasn't I saying that a week or so ago and you stood up for him? "our 2nd best RW behind Wheeler. There's no debating thar even. It's fact. Stafford is with little because that's where he deserves to be.And yeah this is probably stafford last year with the Jets... but it doesn't take away from the fact that besides wheeler he is our best RW" Armia and Ehlers are both better and I would rather see Dano on the RW than Staf...he needs to go.

He needs to make that save with 2 minutes remaining...he saves that shot, the Jets still have a chance. He was going down when the shooter put it high. On the first goal he was down before Moore got the puck. On the disallowed goal he looked like a sieve. He plays as good as Rask, he gets a W. Armia had an other strong game.........I guess he sits next game. Morrissey played well and Chiarot is WAY worse than Stuart.
