I've said all along that he won't re-sign until just before or during TC. Chevy has the history of going down to the wire with hard to deal with players.

Montoya is a good backup, especially for 950k. I'd take out goalies over the Preds' goalies.

Scheifele isn't going anywhere and I don't think Trouba is either (barring a ridiculous offer sheet). I would go after Helm and a good LHD in a trade...someone like Nurse or McDonagh.

Subban won the Norris and sat out the gold medal game didn't he? Didn't Weber dress for it. I'd rather have Weber on my team but not sure about 2-3 years from now. Weber should only see about 22-23 minutes a game.
