until you don't have any...... Goalie, is that what your gf tells you????????
-
RNH is an excellent two way center that would be great for the Jets.

14 months ago half of the analysts were saying Chychrun was going to go first, not Matthews. His father played in the NHL and he is a BIG body with a booming shot and is a good skater. Juolevi 6' 2" 180 lbs. 42 points in 57 games in the OHL. Chychrun 6' 2" 214 lbs. 49 points in 62 games in the OHL. Who said Chychrun is a top 3? I would pick him if the top 3 and PLD, Nylander and Tkachuk are gone.........maybe Brown too. His ceiling is 1st pairing D man and most believe he will be at least a 2nd pairing D man. I'd take Chychrun over Juolevi all day long.

Eberle is softer......not close. We don't need Eberle........I'd listen if they are shopping RNH or Drai but no interest whatsoever in Eberle. Like I said earlier, the expansion draft will have a huge effect on trades this off-season and upcoming season.
-
all depends who you are reading.....most have Chychrun one spot ahead of him.......
-
Are those real? Ya, real expensive.
-
Yup and Eberle plays softer than Myers for God's sake. The expansion draft will have a huge bearing on NHL trading this season. The draft also will determine who, if any, will be traded. I am not in favor of moving out Myers for a forward. I'd consider Myers and ? for RNH if we don't get a good center in this draft though. It'll give Trouba more O time but do we really need a guy now so we leave someone else unprotected if there is an expansion draft? I'd wait until things are clearer and am sure the Jets will wait until all the dust settles this summer.

Matthews and the 2 Finns and PLD and Nylander and Tkachuk should be the top 6 if you believe most analysts. Logan Brown moved up 7 spots to number 7 in NA skaters from the mid-term mark according to central scouting. NA....... http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectbrowse.htm Euro ......... http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftprospectbrowse.htm?cat=2&sort=finalRank&year=2016

I think he is more comparable to Ehlers than PEtan.....he might even be better than Ehlers when he started last season. If we get bumped to 8th or 9th, there are two good centers that will still probably be available...McLeod and Brown. Both are very good skaters and Brown is something like 6' 6" or something! Ican'tfreakingwaitfor the draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caps - Pens will be a good series. I say goaltending wins the series.

Most analysts have Matthews, 2 Finns, PLD, Nylander and Tkachuk as the top 6....after that most have Chychrun and Juolevi going next.... most not all. If we pick lower than 6th, I'd take a LHD. You don't think Connor is a shoe-in to make the big team?
-
The Jets are going to have a logjam for the bottom 7 (one in the pressbox) positions and I am wondering who gets sent down. Let's assume that Little, Wheeler, Scheif, Ehlers, Staf, and Perreault are here and don't get sent down. I am also assuming we don't draft a forward that starts next year. Lowry, Copp, Burmi, Tanev, Thorburn, Dano, Armia, Lemieux, Connor, Peluso, Petan, De Leo, Lipon, and Kosmo are all vying for a spot. Who stays up and who goes down....not who do you want to stay but who do you think the team elects to stay? Thorburn - They won't send him down. Lowry - Maurice is intent on developing him as a checking center. Copp - I've heard Maurice say too many good things about him to believe he will be sent down. Burmi - I don't think he goes down but I sure hope he is on the 4th line. Armia - He showed well and if he doesn't screw up in camp, he should make the team. Connor - This guy starts on the big team and doesn't look back. Dano - Showed well and I think Maurice keeps him up with the big team. So, if Thorbs sits in the pressbox our bottom six might look like... Connor Burmi Armia Lowry Copp Dano Although I would much rather see both Armia and Connor in the top six. (How much better would our lineup look with Matthews in it?) That leaves Tanev, Lemieux, Peluso, Petan, De Leo, Lipon, and Kosmo to play for the Moose. I'd really like to see Lemieux making the team and Burmi getting moved. With these guys going down and a new coach down on the farm, I see a winning season for them next season. Does anyone see Chevy sending one or two of them somewhere with maybe Chicago's pick for a roster ready LHD or to move up in the draft? Burmi, Staf, Chicago's 1st and our 2nd from next year for a 6-10 pick? We could even sweeten it a bit if need be.........add De Leo or Lipon? Getting Chychrun AND Juolevi would be really nice.

I didn't think they wold get past the Isles...they are a team of the future though. Tavares sure came through for his team. I'd rather have him on my team than Stamkos. I bet the Ducks are hoping for a win from the Blues.

Chi-St. L Hawks 7 Dal-Min Stars 5 Dallas in 6 Ana-NSH Ducks 6 LA-SJ Kings 5 Sharks in 5 WSH-Phi Caps 5 Caps in 6 Flo-NYI Isles 6 Isles in 6 nailed it TB-Det TB 6 TB in 5 NYR-Pit Pit 5 Pit in 5 nailed it
-
I nailed Pit and missed the Det-TB by a game and wow, was I out on the Kings - Sharks series.
-
I couldn't agree with Goalie more......Tarasenko gets 17 minutes in a game in which they could have sent the Hawks golfing? Gimme a break.
-
I picked Chicago in 7 and am sticking to it.......what a comeback.
-
So do I. It is a lot to bury on the farm but I can see him staying with the organization and becoming a coach on the farm and who knows, maybe with the Jets one day! I don't think Stu is an unintelligent player, he is just slow and makes poor plays with the puck in his zone. The Jets have lost Kane, Bogo, Ladd and if the lose Stu, that is a lot of big men to take off of your team. Replacements are Dano, Myers, Morrissey?, and Staf (soon to not be here). It looks good for Lemieux to make the team with his size and attitude. We've lost a lot. I know we are going smaller and more skilled but you can't get too small. I can't wait for the freaking draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
H&L think Stu should be on the farm teaching the kids to be professionals and the first call up.........interesting thinking.
-
Worst Corsi on the team, worst PKer in the league, 2.625m per year for two more years and he's lost a step since last season.....why is he on this team again?
-
The best for his development at this stage is the Moose.
-
I agree with most of what you say but the trade rumors.....the only one I heard about was the Pens were kicking the tires on him and the Jets weren't interested. What have you heard? I do think that he plays out this contract here though.
-
Hawerchuk has stated he would look at the NHL after his kids were grown...
