I never said Tkachuk sucks, I just don't think he's the guy the Jets should be targeting with their pick. I think there are better options out there. 
 
Jets have a bit of LW depth, they lack LHD depth big time and Centers, well, you can never have 2 many centers cuz they can play other positions. It's not easy for a LW like Tkachuk to come and play Center. It is easier for a guy like Keller or Dubois who are natural centers to play the wing tho. 
 
Tkachuk is fine if the LHD guys or Centers are gone when we are picking, I just think we will be picking top 5, top 3 even and I don't see us taking Tkachuk. 
 
Matthews, Laine,Puljujarvi,Dubois,Chychrun,Sergachev.
 
2 Centers. 2 wingers. 2 LHD. 
 
What it will come down 2 is how well they interview also, None of us will be there for that, so to be quite honest, just based on the Jets drafting record so far, whoever they pick, That's fine with me. I just don't think they will take Tkachuk over a LHD.

Phil Esposito who is pretty in tune with what happens in Tampa said that it wasn't Walsh's idea for Drouin to sit out, he actually advised him against sitting out.. It was Drouins parents that advised him to sit out. I like Drouin but man there are some troubling signs with that Kid. I'd love to see him on the Jets but... if some of these stories about him are true, i don't know if he'd be worth the possible headache he'd cause.

Jets aren't as bad as their record would say. They really could turn the corner pretty quickly in the next year or so and be a damn good team 

Dale Hawerchuk was exceptional. He made Paul MacLean into a 40 goals plus a year scorer. MacLean was drafted by the St. Louis Blues but spent a year in the minors before being called up for 1 game.  He then became a Winnipeg Jet & Dale's linemate & was considered a power forward in today's game. Like Gretzky, Hawerchuk could see the entire ice & had the ability to anticipate plays & where his linemates were so he could feed them the puck. Hawerchuk made every Jet he played with a better player.

Nope. Bombers will just get the rent from the NHL renting the stadium out. That's it. Why do you think bombers will get anything else? This is an NHL event. It's got nothing to do with the Bombers at all, it's just happening in the stadium they play in.

Teemu Hawerchuk, Babych, Ellett all confirmed. Bobby Hull, Hedberg and the other WHA swede will also be there.
Legends will wear the Jets 1.0 Jersey, Jets 2.0 probably wear a tribute to the WHA team. 

I'd be somewhat surprised if the Jets don't invite some of the WHA jets to come play.... if they can cuz you can bet your ass that our 3rd jersey will be a tribute to our WHA days. 
Hawerchuk Teemu Numminen Housley Manson Zhamnov Steen Tkachuk. Throw in a WHA player or 2... if they can still go. Khabibulin would be very cool. He was the best goalie in jets 1.O history IMO 

Zhamnov and Housley would be good.
