He takes no responsibility either. He actually blamed the PK. Has the guy ever said he needs to be better? Nope.
He's awful

It's hard to cheer against the jets when watching
also edmonton and Toronto in a race for last. Oilers are pathetic. There should be a penalty for being that bad that long and getting those kinds of picks and still finishing last. Dispicable.

Ducky reacted to Goalie in Andrew Ladd
He turned down 6 x 6. Ladd is not worth 6 million as a 3rd line winger.
It's 2 bad his contract demands are so unreasonable.
Rumours have him wanting close to 7 million per year. That's 2 much

They're probably the best fit for Pavs. Doesnt mean much for this year for them but they have no goalies for next year. Pavs gives them some breathing room on a one year deal and for a starter, his price isnt bad...again for one year. We can take back one of their guys or if they cant spare him due to their injury we just re-call Helle the rest of the year. Would be a bonus of Chevy clears Pavs this season.

This link gives the scout ranking from The Hockey Writers, Bob McKenzie, Central Scouting, and one other. Tkachuk is the consensus #4. Matthews consenus #1, with the Finns at #2 & #3.
Cyhchrun is #5 for 3 of 4 lists.

How is Enstrom a rental?
He has two more years on his contract after this season???
-
Ducky reacted to Goalie in Andrew Ladd
Lol at Enstrom. Hawks can't afford him.
Would be Chiarot or Postma Maybe Burmi. It's not someone making 5 plus million a year. No chance.
Florida and Calgary also here.
Florida would be checking out Ladd. Maybe stafford.
Calgary is interesting tho. My guess is as crazy as it sounds they are here checking out Pav

Ladd taking too many penalties is a myth...
He's right around the same as Enstrom and Wheeler.

Is Bowman here looking at other players or trying to seal the deal?

That';s a very interesting though actually. ofcourse this implies we somehow get Hamonic to replace Trouba. But even if the Jets pick, say 4th, do you do the deal? Perhaps with Edmonton adding?

3rd pick atm. TO and EDM have same number of points.
TO has 10 guys in their lineup who played in AHL this year. Now THAT'S tanking!

Columbus wins. Jets in second last.

Sign a guy for 5 years at 6 million who's not making us a contender or likely even a playoff team and who's quite possibly on the third line by 2017/2018? Are you a Leafs GM?

Got to see a UND game earlier in the season. I don't specifically remember Schmaltz but I remember his line was completely dominant against Denver, a traditional NCAA powerhouse program. A 4-0 game that could have been 9-0, and that line was driving the bus.
Jets prospect Tucker Poolman had a pair of assists that night (as did Schmaltz apparently).

Here's what Ken Hodge proposes...
I have long believed that the only solution to tanking is a random draw, minus odds, for the number-one draft position, with all 14 non-playoff teams eligible. I must concede that widespread support for this idea has not been forthcoming.
So here’s another one.
The day after the trade deadline, the NHL takes the teams sitting in positions 26-30, using points per game to balance the totals, and awards those teams the first five spots in the draft, with the order to be determined. By a lottery? No, by their performance during the rest of the season.
And here’s the kicker; the number-one draft position goes to the team, among those five, that gains the most points, not the fewest. In other words, games in March and April involving those five teams would reward success, not failure. Imagine an 82nd game of the season between the Leafs and the Oilers, with no points separating them, and the best odds on Auston Matthews awaiting the winner.
Further details are available upon request, but the current lottery system, or, preferably, my unweighted version, would be used to determine draft order beyond the fifth position. Should you worry that a team might maneuver its way into the bottom five just prior to the trade deadline, I admire your attention to detail here, and offer, yet again, the hat with 14 teams in it.

Good because I was kidding. His actual name was Bobby Schmautz.

Myers to Nashville for Weber. Or Chicago for Keith. Or Colorado for Tyson Barrie. Yes, I will only accept a trade for Myers if it is for another former Rockets D man.
I didn't include Josh Gorges on the list as that would mean Myers would have to go back to Buffalo and I just couldn't be that cruel.

I hear O'reilly is out for awhile. Gonna be hard to finish below Buffalo and Toronto. And Edmonton still in last? A team could try really hard to be that bad and still not be that bad...with that talent? The Oilers should lose draft picks at this point.
