Too many Riders

The Riders and their fans aren't allowed to discuss Grey Cups. "You must be this tall to ride this ride". And they are done growing. It was fun to be at the stadium when the momentum started to swing. You could definitely feel it in the game and in the stands.

I am not holding it against them. It was fun to be about 2 people in blue in a whole section of black standing up and cheering for our boys. We were treated pretty great. Anywhere we went that day. I have heard the Oski-wee-wee chant enough for a lifetime though! All in all, thanks to Hamilton for a good time.

Had the exact same thoughts. Was great to be with the badly outnumbered blue family out there. Casey Sayles had a buddy go to the game and he was telling some funny stories at the game.

Change in mindset. I am not saying Bond gets the credit but he was when the OL started pushing people around. They had the talent

We won the Grey Cup the following year. Worked out pretty great. People were concerned.

Luc Mullinder (of all people for several reasons) made a good observation about the block Harris made on Davis that allowed Collaros to find Adams for the OT TD. LM pointed out that HAM brought 5, moved Davis over Couture. Davis beat Couture pretty clean and Harris read and reacted beautifully. LM may have stole that take from someone else, but he was the first I heard point it out.

I think that sounds pretty accurate. I am not too worried about it though. I think the majority of guys want to stay here.

Just saw the Stanley Bryant interview. Definitely doesn't sound like a guy ready to hang them up or leave the Peg.

Yeah that may have been part of it + the drought. The guy beside me definitely did not understand the masking required part of attending. We had to remind ourselves proof of vax was required to get in.

Yeah, I don't know. Like I say, met some really nice folks there. Several went out of their way to congratulate our team after. Never felt "in danger" or anything. Just felt weird at the time. They definitely care about their team. They really hate the Argos. Hamiltonians seem like good people. I am not trying to slag them.

Can't see Kongbo waiting to get starter reps any more. Be interesting to see how we navigate that.

Isn't he like 17-2 with 2 Grey Cups 1 MOP and 1 GCMOP? One hell of a game manager. Unlike terrible Fajardo who can't even do that.

You’re likely a Canadian citizen if you were born outside Canada and at least 1 of your parents (legal parent at birth [opens in a new tab] or biological parent) either was born in Canada, or became a naturalized citizen before you were born I would rather roll the dice on Evans than Fajardo for sure.

Those years, the Tim Burke years, I was really close to just saying "**** it". There are other things I can do with my time and money.

Losing guys like Briggs would be tough. Losing guys (I won't name names because it sounds like you diminish their ability) are easier to navigate. Positions where we have seen some (mostly import) guys leave and were able to pivot quickly is re-assuring. I am more worried about a guy like Briggs than some import starters. No, not from a sentimental stand point. Dane Evans earned his spot on the bench. Mostly **** this year.

Agreed, but I have faith that guys want to come back (proven) and attracting FAs will be easy.

Regina doesn't have the hotel infrastructure to support a large out of town contingent for Grey Cups. Definitely commit ASAP.
