It blows me away that media people who claim to cover the Bombers didn’t know this. Specifically Bauming and Hodge. The useful life of QBs has definitely been extended with rules (that are supposed) to protect them (seemingly applied indiscriminately). That is/was a positive change.

He will be 30 next year - and has half a year experience as a starter in the CFL. The NFL was never really an option. Good for the CFL that he is sticking around though.

Exactly. There is nothing happening Sunday that we haven’t gone through before . I said it last year and I will say it this year - we won a Grey Cup against Hamilton in Hamilton. The circumstances will never be tougher than that. I’ve been there for Labour Day when we got caught by Butler - and when we smoked them in front of expanded seating the next year. I don’t remember anything about the crowd either time except how quiet it was in the blowout with the exception of Bomber fans having a great time.
