I'm glad, as an opponent.
-
I do, because I don't want them thinking fans are cool for awhile because we finally won.

I don't care what they do. I want people who are obsessed with the team winning in all jobs.

I'm not sitting outside I pouring rain or the cold at games because I don't have other **** to do. I want a reason to be there, and getting kicked around sucks.

I'm glad 1290 took the time to weigh in on it in between 2 hours of the impact Nick Shore has on the Jets lineup

If I was Wade Miller and heard stuff like that, you wouldn't be working there anymore.

Honestly, this 2019 team deserves the shine. Bud Grant had nothing to do with it.

I care. As important as winning was, and has taken some stress away, this team needs to re-build the damage 29 years of no Cups had on the fan base. Going back to a non factor is a huge no-no for a season ticket holder like myself, or bringing in/back people who don't go to games. I am not taking hours out of my day to go watch some bullshit. It is only going to be more enticing to stay at home and watch, they MUST keep people believing they want to come to the stadium, it is the lifeline of the team. This is the best chance they've had in decades to do it. Getting comfortable is a giant, giant, giant mistake.

Cam Wake is 10 years older and was still on the AR for the Titans. WJ still has 5+ very good seasons in him in the NFL

I assumed that was always the logic of it. I hope they give it proper due now.
-
Exactly, and that is just looking at it today. Lots of time to work on it, guy like Chris Casher couldn't get on the roster without WJ in the way, and he is a starter in Calgary.

He is a freak athlete even amongst elite athletes. His age shouldn't really be a factor to any team.

I am not worried, we find good DEs all the time, and Craig Roh is a good player we could bring back. WJ's age is not really a factor IMO. Freak athlete, never any major injury, DEs can play for a long ass time.

This team needs to put up banners for all 11 Grey Cup winning teams inside the stadium. There is nothing really recognizing those teams in the stadium common areas
-
The lack of PR eligibility is a big factor, but he should be able to crack the roster. He plays ST on a much bigger field up here at minimum. The 3down story says WJ has no interest in workouts unless a team is ready to give him a contract. He is not leaving to be a camp body. It will be interesting to see how this goes.

It would not surprise me to see Willie get guaranteed money. He is an athletic freak with NFL skills. Dolphins also had a good experience taking a chance on Cameron Wake (in fairness, maybe the most dominant DE I can ever remember in the CFL). I doubt teams care about some off field **** when he was 23 at this point. He has not had any issues up here.

Pierce can game plan against any defence . He has seen every defence you can run, on the field and in the booth. He knows what is going to be successful against it. Zero worry about that. He has been around some phenomenal offensive minds in Wally Buono and Dave Dickenson, and LaPo. I would not just assume he is just going to run LaPo style offence, he will be wanting to put his own mark on the team. Lazy logic to just think he will just roll out the same offence.

Awesome

They're all basically the same

I think Lulay has work with the Lions, TV, and generally likes living in Vancouver.
