It is also clear that after nearly a decade of taking a beating that Reilly isn't in love with running for yards much any more. The name on the back of the uniform is skewing how you view the performance.

The defence has nothing to do with Mike Reilly throwing bad passes and relying too heavily on the deep ball.

He didn't have a good game at all. He threw the ball 40 times for 324 yards, 50% completion rate, 1 TD 2 Int Not good. Particularly with 2/3 of those yards, and an 80% completion rate in the first half.

I agree about the max protect and the impact the line had on the run game and making them one dimensional. However, Reilly did the same things in Edmonton. He obsesses on the long ball and his medium accuracy is just ok.

The drive with the 2 Burnham passes never should have happened. Reilly threw a bad ball that our DBs misplayed and Burnham made a play. Then Reilly throws into double coverage and our DBs collide with each other and bounce off Burnham. He made numerous throws into double coverage. Yards are not indicative of how he played.

Carter was a non factor. Caught a 2 point conversion and celebrated like it won the Grey Cup. BC looks like Edmonton 2018 except worse receivers.
