  1. Lulay calls a lot of audibles and with the crowd noise that just wasn't going to work very well.Which makes the hurry up more confusing to me.Seemed like they wanted to not let the crowd reset, but it didn't work, and was obvious it wasn't working from the beginning. I got the sense it was more to keep the Bombers from changing personnel than to combat the noise. They went back to it when Hurl was out with equipment issues and Bass was hurt for that short spell. They found a way to keep them both off the field. But Lulay's passing accuracy took a hit after that first drive, and the secondary tightened up. that as much as anything changed the tempo of the game. You're probably right. They fought the crowd noise all game and went to a hurry up anyway... Confusing, even if for the reason you state.
  2. In addition to that, both exceptional reads. Adams baited that throw and timed his jump perfectly. Washington dropped off after reading the route and made a great grab.
  3. Regardless of who someone may want to win, the Riders are not going to win.

  5. Lulay looked as confused as an American tourist in the middle of a Tokyo rush-hour last night. It was obvious the Lions hadn't prepared for the noise. Way to go Winnipeg fans! Yeah there were a lot of communication issues for the BC offence.
  6. Juran Bolden man...legendary outlaw... I know who Juran Bolden is...otherwise I'd have been really confused by JBR's handle... Yeah the careless typo was mine. I would have done the same thing. I assure you I know the name of the Predator. Haha
  7. I feel like BC went to the hurry up to combat the crowd. Which seems contradictory. Do they run no huddle a lot?
  8. Effing auto correct and fully valid on calling me out on it haha You got me before the edit!
  9. Seriously, accuse me of overreacting, but J. Adams is the best DB we've had since Juran Bolden.
  10. What prompted the unnecessary roughness call? I completely missed it .. I know Adams looked confused .. "What did I do?" type thing .. just never saw what he actually did .. He jammed his guy off the line and then gave a pretty standard shot a second or two later, I think even after the pass... Very weak call. Followed by a BS call on roughing the kicker.
  11. I wish Dunigan did more colour... Best guy on TSN
  12. That's kind of odd considering the Riders sold around 25k season tickets that year that so many bomber fans were there isn't it? You guys can laugh at how bad we are all you want but even this year there are 26700 season tickets sold so the myth that any team will ever outnumber our fans in our stadium is simply that, This is Migs for sure, right?
  13. Adams is an absolute stud DB. That unnecessary roughness penalty in the first half was complete BS... I love this guy. Westerman has shaken the rust off and he is a beast. He is also always coaching guys up. Bass reminds me of Barrin Simpson, and had a great game. It is only a matter of time before Gibson is racking up sacks, he reminds me of John Bowman. Some huge additions to this D that will continue to get better. Exciting times.
  14. We can delay the reality for a week if you like but when Lulay is playing like this he is hard to beat. Adding Harris just compounds to the difficulty of shutting them down. This gimmicky read option stuff has a shelf life, as does Lulay staying healthy.
  15. Let's hold off on the BC hype. TO teams have routinely struggled going to BC, and they squeaked out 2 games against the Riders.
  16. Must win tomorrow. Monstrous early season game.
  17. The game changed when Stoudemire fumbled. It isn't debatable.
  18. Definitely an injury concern. He didn't put up huge numbers last year, but I feel like nobody really did (maybe I'm wrong). His first year in Edmonton he had 4000+ passing, and 700+ rushing yards, on a bad team.He only started 15 games last year too.
  19. I don't think so. He was a one man show two years ago, and took a beating in the process.
  20. You have got to respect the competitive level of Reilly, and he is talented. Definitely a fun guy to watch play.
  21. He comes off like it, but he had a good rookie year, and I can't blame the fans for that!
  22. I feel bad for Esks fans, first White and all the OL injuries now Reilly. Brutal luck.
  23. I like the Seahawks mentality. They bring in as many, if not more, guys than any team during the year. Clear message: Earn your job every day.
