the situation entering FA might have been different, but Walter could have easily done the same thing Jones did after a 5-13 season but rather then blow up the roster immediately after november, chose to keep most of the roster intact, load up on FA then make necessary changes. I dont think the need to revamp was much different. If anything Id say with our current scouts track record, the need of the bombers to load up in FA was more dire then that of Jones/Murphy who both have a decent scouting track record

right? think of all the relevant muamba jerseys again and possible boxes full of them the bombers can now unload, the move can practically pay for itself
