That's just it, it's pretty unrealistic that next year is that cornerstone, 2017 would have likely been the target, and probably most fans could accept that. However thanks to taman doin' how he do, he's practically villainized Jones for a lot of the fans (probably more so the fair weather ones who don't accept any reason, only dwell on the reality their beloved players were out right cut by him). Now if Jones doesnt win this upcoming season, the backlash to these transactions should amplify insanely. If we think bomber fans get ridiculous after losses, I don't think we've seen anything yet.

I'd be interesting to see the reaction if Jones lets smith walk. I know from reading the riderfans site there is a lot of people easing their minds with an "in Jones we trust mentality", but really, to walk into an organization like that with it's fan base, get rid of fan favs immediately your almost setting yourself up for a lynching if you dont produce immediately. If anything I think most people could forgive a poor 2016 given the state of the 2015 riders, and it takes time to rebuild, but these moves imo just riled up a mob and put instant eggshells in front of jones and company. this could be shaping up to be some fun times in riderville

I have not been able to close the multi quote thing in the bottom right since i accidentally clicked on it. I dont know if this has a reprecaution on my tablet, but last 2 days since I clicked it, if I quote something, it will not go away until I post, and in my own post once i hit the letter I to start a word, i cannot back space anymore previous to that I. Ive noticed a few posts with some cap issues like what Ive been experiencing on my tablet (example would be like: that Is Interesting) Is this just my tablet having issues or do others experience this?

in regards to the C3PO pic, i know Ive always thought about the droids C3PO and R2D2 while watching the movies, and their partnership with Anakin, then eventually Leia then Luke, and still kickin around in episode 7. nothings ever really mentioned about their adventures in this saga, even old ben Kenobi doesnt really recognize them in a new hope, but since they have AI, is it possible they have some "light" in them. By that i mean they are clearly constantly fighting on the good side, and never stray. Meanwhile there are bad droids out there. I guess it could be in their programing to assist certain people/factions, but they were constantly huge roles (more so R2D2) in helping save the day, above and beyond regular procall droids and maintenance bots, was there ever any backstory on that?

Just saw on the twitter feed, then looked at it on the leader post, former bomber coach Mike Gibson leaving the regina Rams as HC to join the Eskimos as the Oline Coach and running game coordinator. Also seeing the movie Gambit (X-Men) slated October 7th, 2016 with Channing Tatum as Remy LeBeau/Gambit. not sure show I really feel about that as i just saw this, but my initial reaction is; I thought Gambit was cool growing up, but never a lead character for his own spotlight, gambling womanizing, turning everything into an explosive. Channing Tatum doesnt strike me as the right person either. I didnt mind the actor who played him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but ill let this sink in a little more. They have Doug Liman directing it too who did such movies as The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Jumper, Edge Of Tomorrow.

I was not a big fan of Snow White and the Huntsman, but did it do well with a lot of other people? enough for a spin off The Huntsmen: Winter's War? (april 22). Because I didnt like that Snow White movie I have zero interest in this even if the reviews are good. with jobs likely on the line, I dont think Walters or Oshea are in a position to gamble. Hoping Smith hits the market and agrees to sign here isnt a luxury I think they can afford right now. If we cant get Dressler or Carter, it might be ugly going after smith as we'd likely be now making offers in desperation. just my feeling

Thats definitely one of the reasons I'd take dressler. It would suck some serious ass to miss on dressler waiting to see If smith either hits FA market or even If he does, signs here, AND whether or not he keeps playing like a dressler clone. Seem like alot to gamble on, when dresslers available now. If dressler and carter both dont pan out and smith hits FA then go hard (but hopefully not stupid hard unless u can get him to agree to a bonus Incentive filled contract). I think dresslers done more then enough and consistently enough to warrant a reasonably high price tag

i think we missed the boat on shopping hutch a year or 2 ago (more so last year before pav reclaimed his crease). I think around the time Hutch last played well we discussed the Pav/Hutch who do you play, what do you do with Hellebuyck who was being hyped as the future (from afar of course) i guess the time has come. one poster called it tho, said by mid way point this year it would be Hellebuycks crease, not sure who tho
