I like the games now. What's wrong with them? nothing, I enjoy the rate the games going, but if it was a choice between one or the other as far as high scoring games of old vs the game of bore from the mid 2000s, id take the high scoring games. It does seem like the CFL they keep insisting on tweaking the game, im not a big fan of the 3 on 3 OT (I could live with 4 on 4) but thats an example of why? shoot outs Ive always felt was rather dumb

Bombers Pending Free-Agents List?
Taynted_Fayth replied to M.O.A.B.'s topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Not sure what you're getting at exactly. But I would take Bowman over Moore no questions asked. Not Owens though. Yyyyyyyyikes...no sir. Moore has his troubles, but Captain Dropsies Bowman....don't want him back near this team. agreed! i wouldnt take bowman back after his stint here, felt the same way about kamau peterson too after he left then lit it up a bit -
Other teams had to deal with injuries true, but I dont think anyone has argued our depth was as deep as these other teams. I would say based on at the Calgary loss (by 2 with a missed fg), the edmonton loss (by 1 with 4 missed kicks) the BC win (off a kick) and the loss to ottawa at home (by 3) that the team with better first halves and maybe a little more consistency kicking very well could be 8-9 right now. Has the season been frustrating hell yes, but you cant ignore that. Good teams find a way to win, couple breaks and perhaps we'd be saying we found those way to win

if i had to choose between high scoring 8-6 games vs trap hockey (like 2005 that the new jersey devils perfected) i'd take scoring everyday

are they available and would they want to come here is the more important question

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/do-people-only-use-10-percent-of-their-brains/ the last part of the article might be what im thinking of; its not that we use 10% of our brain, but more like we only understand 10% of the brain
-
The thing about us only using 10% of our brain is being proven false. We still don't know a lot about the workings of the brain and even less about how to monitor it. i think i remember reading or seeing a news report sometime ago within last 6 months, some scientist were saying we use more then 10% of our brain as a whole, but the 10% was what we used at a time or something like that, ill see if i can dig up something along that context

we need to revamp captain planet and reteach our youth the 3 R's

I dont argue pollution isnt speeding up the process but getting back to hot and balmy jurassic like temps might be inevitable, when the spring time era we've lived in ends, summer begins, long time later cools off like autumn then ice age winter and repeat,

Dominique Davis Named Starting QB vs Argos
Taynted_Fayth replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
its a good thing this is in toronto, so no one should really be in attendance, if it was here worst thing that could happen was Davis' play struck up a we want brohm chant and we head into the offseason with that in our heads. yuck -

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania
Taynted_Fayth replied to Goalie's topic in General Discussion
I liked when wwe was on TSN at least raw (I think smackdown was on sportsnet) then i think they both were on there, with the way MTS and Shaw started doing theme packages for a while I totally lost access to watching wrestling. This is why i started more staying current with the slam wrestling recaps which for the most parts was much more enjoyable. sitting down for lunch read up on the previous raw in the 15-20 minutes eating beats 3hours full of commercials and stuff you cant skip through. I noticed on monday while raw was played, TSN was playing world series of Poker, and ive seen other event like soccer, or just highlight shows, did TSN lose out to SN or just say screw it to airing WWE? -

I still think you would see a rejuvenation in the music scene with more all age shows. you get the kids hooked on real, live and good music, and you set up their bar star days nicely in them wanting to go to more shows. kids only growing up with what they're force fed from much music, the radio, and pop culture are so badly being led away from anything but your swifts, drakes and biebers. sad days upon us my friends ** 92's gotten a little more current with the demise of power97 but still too much classic rock. I believe once a person gets into a band or bands they can call "their own" and not so much their parents music, they do eventually look deeper into those bands roots and the history of music is brought back to life. but it takes steps. -
other then not being built in an earthquake zone could anything have been done to prevent what happened in Japan after that earthquake a few years back?
-
For sure its an excuse, but I do think theres merit behind the thought willy would have done a little better then nichols, or brohm, or marve and a few of our losses (take the last calgary and edmonton or ottawa games here) could have been wins with a little better production in the first halves. Exactly the difference in not being in the playoffs. Not that a 7-11 team would still be worth bragging about, but better then being on the outside looking in

Taynted_Fayth replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I believe Nichols will be back, so this might be a early audition for #3. I think Brohms days are done, hes just been an able body incase nichols went down while our playoff hopes were still alive. I think if Davis stinks it up he might be cut loose as well and we see 2. maybe 3 new QBs in TC fighting for 3rd spot -
Lol thats a loaded question

I hope he does well and the name brohm becomes just another elliot/goltz/marve/brink/Lefors/michna/martin...and on n on of forgettable names whove been called our qb -
I think it would be a copy of you to an extent but limited to the point u uploaded it. Probably involves alot of rehashing events of your life as well as a series of aptitude testing, then thrown in with some sort of AI to calculate based on what it knows of you, the common responses and/or actions you would likely produce based on situations and scenerios. Kind of like how Jor-El is in the crystals superman uses on earth, it can interact as best it can but the odd time youd encounter "does not compute" instances

Rock died sometime in the late 80's and early 90's. Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact. u must be a grand funk railroad fan -
Grey Cup Halftime Show is Fall Out Boy
Taynted_Fayth replied to mikey d's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I can somewhat agree about the venue thing, but its more about lack of attendence. Friends of mine have quit playing in recent years because of low turn outs. It wasnt making them anything, in fact costing them sometimes. Not because they sucked, but the music scene in winnipeg is and has been a very friend oriented thing, ur buddys come watch u maybe bring a few ppl, other bands come watch, or bring the same if their on the bill. But life happens, work, kids..ect and those numbers get affected then slow death. Im going to sound old but when I was a kid, I used to go to random shows with friends at ozzys or the westend cultural center n see cool acts like kittens, guy smiley, mung.. and so on. Never even heard them before, biggest thing was they were all age shows. Now bands play or played the zoo (done apparently) the albert..places where kids/teens cant go. How are they gonna get into it if they cant get in to it
