  1. Now I know ur name lol the known poster here on
  2. I blame much music, when I was a kid it was diverse, u had every genre of music given time, tons of worth watching live shows like intimate & interactive, then it went 95% aimed at teen girls. As such a ton of musical exposure was reduced and even now with power97 gone, theres more classic rock then ever before, instead of 1 station keeping current rock showcased. Perhaps this is why we dont hear fallout boy, especially since power n now bigfm are bomber game day sponsers, im sure theyd have gotten behind some fallout boy as power97, bigfm is waaay too oldies sadly
  3. Ive heard ufc is having problems staying captivating (I guess) kinda like boxing, still a money maker but ppl arent as hooked due to lack of big house hold names as it used to be. I remember watching mike tyson fight no names on ppv like peter mckneeley just cuz tyson n his knock out power was worth watching. GSP is a guy not known for his knock out power but if your a fan of the art hes clinical n goes the distance (isnt mayweather this way for boxing or was?) That being said, as much as wrestling is predetermined, there could be some upside to that. Ensuring big action almost each and everytime, with injuries a surprise element, I regard knock outs in any sport the same as an injury in wrestling, it could happen and holy **** when it does, but not necessary. I love seeing a good fight in any sport, but I guess ive come to be less disappointed with wrestling as a whole for time/moneys worth, so I guess thats more why I still watch
  4. I googled, im out lol
  5. Ive seen chappie, alot of ppl were discussing it on fb in one of those I fn love science posts. I argued the ability would be flawed due to emotional affect on the conscience decisions people make and whether or not AI with your uploaded tendencies and logic could fully appreciate that factor. As well as experience, such as for myself, I was told as a kid not to touch the red element on the stove. Logically I knew not to touch it because it was hot, but I still touched it to see if it was true, would my uploaded version do the same if i never had tried
  6. I remember how crappy wcw looked on saturdays with the tabled audience I believe and watching guys like glacier (blonde sub zero lookin dude) vs some jobber n it was much easier to be impressed by the wwf. Even when nwo hit its peak I couldnt watch wcw, reminds me of tna today, 2nd class or washed up wrestlers displayed with inferior production quality. Maybe I bought in the wwe/f too hard as a kid
  7. Wait... manipulation of the ball would require telekinesis which might be possible, but with limitations such as lifting weights within ur own means, more u train n grow, the more u can lift
  8. When I worked at dakota lanes every monda night wheni was 18-20 we had raw on (attitude era) ppl would come watch between turns up to bowl. Since the attitude era, mma became the thing to watch, n talk about, but I suspect many of those ppl watching during the attitude era watched during the early 90s, 80s maybe even longer, many probably check in once in a while still, maybe just not religiously
  9. Lol thatd take some guardian of the galaxy like **** where they hold hands and collectively share the infinity stone power. Tho if we could control the direction of some kicks last few weeks we could be in the playoffs *le sigh*
  10. I didnt wanna hijack rich's mandela thread, but in talking briefly about thinking deja vu was from ur subconscious tapping into esp/premonition, has anyone seen the movie Lucy (2014) with scarlet johanson & morgan freeman where there is a drug that allows you to use 100% of your brain? Sounds like limitless but much different. An example is at 20% of its brain in use, the dolphin has a natural sonar better then any man made version, and its just a perk to that usage. The things she can do gradually at like 40%, 50%...ect some seems a little far fetched, but any guesses what we could realistically do with full use of our brains? I believe telepathy could be a very real thing. I do think while animals use less of their brain then humans, use that part to communicate amongst each other. But not to us because we use totally different areas so it sounds like noises the human brain.
  11. I binge watched izombie a few months back, and started watching season 2 yesterday (watching newest episode now) I gotta say while the main premise has lost a bit of its appeal to me, the back story thats been going since the start has alot more potential
  12. I dont think it was a secret from the get go osh's fortes were st n d, I guess thats where my hesitation has been with him as a HC (not necessarily as a coach) and id want someone competent in all phases of the game as the "head" coach
  13. I really watched the lucha dragons for the first time yesterday (tag matches havent been the same for a long time) I like the finisher that the smaller lucha dragon pulled off on barrett. I kept thinking he was rey mysterio for a while
  14. I dunno about parallel universe, in the examples given you can always reference check the correct variation, and if your memory was incorrect, it was probably just remembered wrong after a long time of not hearing or reminising. I do believe deja vu to be the brains subconscious tapping into esp/premonitions but our brains are not evolved enough to control it consciously. But thats another topic altogether
  15. I kinda jump back n forth during raw, like yesterday watched wsop n raw back n forth. I definitely cant just sit glued for 3 hours, but its nice show to have on ur "last" or recall button when its needed. I actually follow canoes wrestling reports fairly frequently more then the show itself
  16. unless you exclude ritchie hall as an interm option in case of a mid season firing, but how do you go about that given Hall will now being his 2nd year here and has previous experience as HC (even if not greatest stint) but has been a good DC for you to date?
  17. I would think the reality of inheriting the HC position if Oshea fails could be enticing, but its kind of being between a rock and a hard place, if the coordinator sucks and it costs Osh his job, might likely cost the coordinator his job as there would likely be a house cleaning coming from top to bottom. If the coordinators do good and the bombers do good, doesnt that save Osh and not really get anyone new in at HC?
  18. I found it a bit nonchalant. same ol matches, tho ever since that give divas a chance thing they've really seemed to increase the female matches, but at the same time they are not really giving them stories to work with. When I read Awesome Kong was wrestling in TNA i was like whaaaaat? Didnt she have to take a LOA due to pregnancy? did WWE release her? the chicks need a monster to run wild in their division to shake it up. also that selfie stick gimmick on tyler breeze was pretty lame
  19. if the bombers gave away free jerseys and/or bomber gear around xmas time and everyone gave everyone bomber stuff, everyone would be wearing bombers, all day every day thus giving the appearance the team is a hot commodity resulting in some artificial bandwagon hype. marketing 101... or the Sunny Delight Pitch, "whoa you have Sunny D? your moms the coolest!" and so moms wanted to be cool and bought crappy sunny d
  20. could that be a mental thing tho after so many injuries? I know when ive been hurt doing various things your always a little soft when going back at whatever it is that hurt you, eventually getting back to full stride. Id imagine moore is looked upon to not miss a beat when he's reactivated but **** happens
  21. will we have come around by then? thats only 10 short years to right this damn capsized vessel
  22. lets not forget, if we get a new OC moore and denmark could be used a lot better and see better stats. but still cant ignore the health issues
  23. I think youd have to offer Moore a bonus incentive contract after 2 seasons on and off the IR. He's worth giving a moderate-good signing bonus, and a big healthy year could see him paid great. I think that would also free up some room (until or if you have to pay the bonuses) to offer for a big splash signing and get a #1 receiver. if Moore meets his incentives then you just get creative when the time comes on how to pay it
  24. I dont know if it applies to the majors, but he was told he had to declare what hand he was pitchig the batter before they stepped into the batter box in the minors - not being allowed to switch hands during the at bat, but I dont beleve he was restricted from changing back n forth for every new batter. His numbers arent deadly, but he put up reasonable stats pitching for oakland (something like 1.18 era right handed, 2.78 era left) I dont think he ever pitched for the yankees tho despite being a 2008 draft of theirs
  25. Does anyone know how much a band gets to play half time at a gc vs superbowl?
