Id have to watch the play again but it really did look like westerman was stumbling before he made contact. Burris milked it up then bounced back to the side lines. Again I have NEVER heard that much booing for a player getting up (doesnt matter what team)

Watching the replay at the game it looked like westerman was stumbling/falling prior to contact with burris and forward motion allowed for contact. Its unfortunate it ended up to the knees but I dont think there was much force behind it, hence hank bouncing up n skipping to the bench after milking it

I expect the jays to offer big. Itd be stupid of the jays management not to see or appreciate what opening their wallets did not just for the on field product but attendence and bottom line. They have a relatively young team, if they have concern about their pipeline, u do whats necessairly to keep this team intact until u restock the cupboards

Im curious who these prospects were and why our cupboards are bare now? I know we gave up a couple for Donaldson but c'mon now AL MVP and he's young, he could be a jay for years to come. If anything I would have said the moves AA made this year (about damn time) saved his job, as reported he was offered 1yr extention in july then after the moves he made offered a 2 year then 4year. I think this has more to do with the relationship between AA and Shapiro then the jays not making the WS.

couldnt it be argued that their initial missed call thats being challenged is being brought to attention and if over turned they (the refs) see that they missed something and review it later to become better judges of the infraction later on? missing a call and letting it slide just means itll continue on

id like to see offense pass interference be reviewable too if defensive PI is currently, only fair as well as questionable hits to a qb - such as nichols getting blatantly face masked last game

Is that lessened if the team your on only plays the east or west final and gc? Almost seems better to strive for a home semi game (2nd place finish) than 1st strictly from a monetary stand point from players perspective
