I'm not 100% as its hard to follow at time due to camera restraints, but it seemed like Walker was out there a lot. Perhaps if Carmichael was invisible it was potentially due to him not being on the field

I'm tellin ya, its because I picked SJ Green in my fantasy team. I have the "johnson" touch when it comes to picking individual players for anything. Guess who's picking Jennings/Arceneaux/Jeremiah Johnson next week??

I think it was more a bad 1st quarter. we scored as many points in the 2nd quarter as we did the whole 2nd half. The biggest difference was our D held the argos to 3 points in the 2nd half, and our ST stopped giving up instant field position every return. It was a good 2nd half adjustment in those 2 phases

Nichols didn't have a good start, but 0 ints, and was sacked 0 times. He drove the ball when he needed to. We will need to make some improvement facing BC next week, but heading to Vancouver 2-1 sounds a hellova lot better than 1-2

Can't forget Mr. Money, Justin Medlock either still kicking 100%

so tough to chose i'm going to go with; 1. Harris - 2 TDs and fought hard for every yard 2. I would say the whole Dline but I think Westerman needs to get his infractions undercontrol, but Jeffcoat/Poop/Nevis had tons of pressure 3. OL - 0 sacks says it all HH: Heath, Leggett, Lankfords opening TD

Anyone collect hockey cards?
Taynted_Fayth replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
it's been many of years, I'm trying to think of what the big card companies were back in the day, O Pee Chee, Upper Deck, Pro Set, Topps... probably forgetting a few -
Anyone collect hockey cards?
Taynted_Fayth replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
O Pee Chee seems to have been the big money for rookie cards back then, I've seen it on sale in a few different place for around $2K but it's definitely the style I associate most with O Pee Chee -
Anyone collect hockey cards?
Taynted_Fayth replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
actually a few years ago I went into a Galaxy Comics store on Henderson just north of McLeod, their 2nd floor is ALL cards and it's an impressive collection, if you're ever looking for a specific set from a specific year there's a good chance they have it. When I was younger my local sports store was called Tony-O's in Windsor Park, wasn't a very big store but he always bought my hologram marvel cards for $5 which was big money back then! -
Anyone collect hockey cards?
Taynted_Fayth replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I used to collect Marvel cards mostly as a kid, but I do remember buying a lot of these cards in hopes of getting an Ed Belfour card -
i don't like that they do 2017 awards before 2017 is done. Maybe its the fanboi in me but I think GoT is gonna kill it starting sunday

i dunno at 5'9" and 200 lbs makes me think hes got a lower center of gravity vs say wilds 6'1" 220, 20 pounds stretched over 4" isn't all that different
-
if they were in their prime sure, Kent in for wild and Hefney in for Carmichael all day everyday, maybe they are back as guest coaches
-
yup back to back stinkers at home to kick off the year will certainly take the shine off the 2017 season in terms of fan interest. Is it must win for the team's playoff chances, absolutely not, but they should be playing as if it is week to week
-
don't want to jinx it, but last time those 3 came to sign autographs at IGF was last year's home opener where we inducted Walby to the RoH and got beat by a kevin Glenn lead alouettes. They better bring some good luck with them this time!

I dunno they said dehydration and since it's not hot out that would be my guess, maybe it was a combo of previous dehydration and lack of proper rehydration due to travel? maybe dehydration was just a quick response before they actually know what it is and could be something totally unrelated... guess we will see
-
While its not hot out, he could have done it over exerting himself building these houses. At 92 I can't imagine it would take all that much to do it
-
what a dumbass. It's amazing the stupidity people show trying to "thrill chase". I'd put this one right up there with subway surfing
-
Just heard that on CJOB about 20 mins ago. They said its dehydration and he's ok though, just got a little dizzy and it was precautionary. TBH a guy that old should think about calling it a day with the hands on stuff. Love the cause and appreciate all that he's done though

there was a www.talkingoutmyass.com but I heard they changed their address to riderfans.com

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
Taynted_Fayth replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
yup it's Boltus #2 for Jax (Jacksonville) I was watching some highlights of the game, first thought was good gravy Arena football is awful. Boltus did throw at least 1 TD though, to a Mo Williams near the end of the 3rd quarter making the score 20-7. They scored once more from Devin Wilson but I'm unsure how that one came to be -
Looking Ahead: Toronto Vs Winnipeg
Taynted_Fayth replied to Taynted_Fayth's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
OL needs to be capable/durable just as importantly as the QB. Nichols success came from a solid OL. This year when the OL has bought him time (like the 3rd quarter vs sask) he lights it up, when they falter, so does Nichols. this message has been brought to us by -
Indigenous Jack Jacobs doesn't quite have the same ring to it, so probably won't be included. I don't believe anyone else has had a nickname included on their ROH induction either
-
it would be nice to start winning at home. Apparently we've had a losing home record every year since IGF opened. Time to start changing that culture (While maintaining our recent road dominance). Gut check time to see who this team really is. GO BLUE!

I wanna play too!
