  1. kind of how it feels outside these last 2 days without any sunshine
  2. apparently Argo's DLman Ken Bishop is also 6 gamed. Not sure if he was their starting DT or not over Wynn but it cuts off some of their depth anyways
  3. Jeremiah johnson
  4. Nichols would need to focus on the "neglected food groups" to have any shot at being anything more then the #6 OL
  5. Carmichael made the team basically playing SAM in Leggett's place. Like you said less talented DBs end up as SAM, which is likely where Carmichael should be and should have stayed. Leggett at least has experience in the secondary (albeit at S) but I would think he could also play HB, or at least should be given an opportunity given the results we've gotten from the Roc so far
  6. I would have brought him back given the play of carmichael to date, to bad
  7. I think the only way Angle being Vince's kid leads to a HHH/Angle match is a struggle for power as the heir to the company (it would make Kurt Vince's eldest son by 1 year over Shane) but I don't really see how that translates to a fight in the ring. Only an affair with Steph period, it is the thing that I can see fueling that fire for a match
  8. I'm not disagreeing with you about the ref should not be touched. 100% absolutely. Have we really seen anything done about the bad reffing over the years other then the odd acknowledgement of a bad call? They really have gotten to the point of dictating outcomes.
  9. I've always felt SAM was the position to be looked upon for more pass coverage. Wouldn't mind seeing Wild's replacement be sent in on more blitz packages
  10. lol actually I was going to mention as my first point earlier that Jordan would need a black mom but that slipped my mind as I came back to posting a little bit later
  11. I supposed I could live with that story, though WWE has a penchant for dropping a deuce when it comes to child stories. The thing I wonder though, is Jordan is 28 turning 29 in 2 months, so the affair would have taken place in 1988 - steph would have been 12 at that time. Neither her nor Angle were married at that time (Angle was married from 98-2008, and currently since 2012) so I don't see how this could be all the things said to date like it would make Angle a disgrace and embarrassment to the WWE, it could ruin his family and job..etc I realize its acting and kayfabe, but I would have gone with a younger wrestler just to match up some of the dates
  12. well if there is a new wrestler who is the mystery person, it can be written up he's using angle to rise up (maybe even undeservingly) faster then others. Once he gets to where he needs to be in the story he turns on angle. I do get they may want to do a HHH vs Angle somewhere down the line. Maybe at some point HHH tries to cut off Angle's "lover" and angle takes exceptional offense. I agree it's not a great story line, but when has WWE really had a strong story in recent memory? Only reason I don't like the Steph/Angle/HHH love triangle thing is because once the story is done which would be sooner than later how do people forget it like nothing happened?
  13. I dunno if a newer or actual gay wrestler would have the same impact. When Darren Young came out a few years back it was like acknowledged for about a week then quickly swept under the rug. If it's all for ratings/awareness/story and let's say it is Adam Cole, the way I'd draw it up is Him and Angle come out everyone's behind them, good times, good spotlight on the subject then sometime down the road Cole turns on Angle and says it was all a lie to get himself in the door/futher his career. If it's all kayfabe, I don't really see the harm it would have to Angles rep. it's not like he hasn't kind of been put in compromising positions in the past
  14. Your right in the sense they shouldn't be attacked. Cooler heads need to prevail and in any sport especially with regards to the official. But IMHO if the reffing doesn't get their **** together this will happen more and more, and it will basically become like Baseball. Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate a bit, but I'm just trying to put myself in the shoes of Hill leading up to him grabbing the official and I know I would be livid with the 3 consecutive bad calls called against us that resulted in the opposing team scoring 7 in a close game. The reffing this season has been hot garbage to put it nicely
  15. the circumstances aren't the same as your car scenario. The ref gave him a RTP penalty on a BS call when glenn slide late. Then gave the team a 15 yarder for the little scrimmage on the sidelines, then a UR on the Stephens hit allowing the riders the score, the following play. if it was like your scenario, it would be like a cop guiding traffic and him waving in a car to ding the back of your car. Then proceed to give you a ticket for your busted tail light Again Hill deserves everything he got and arguably more, and as a professional should know better. But at what point does the ref take any kind of accountability?
  16. I wouldn't be opposed if they felt like a stiffer penalty was in order, I'm just indifferent to the 1 game. Maybe I view the infraction a little differently than others, but at what point do the refs start getting the point they are doing a bad job and are single handedly ruining the game, and dictating outcomes. Again I don't condone the action of Hill, but hopefully if there is some sort of silver lining in it, is the CFL and Glen Johnson take a long look at this and realize what was the instigator. It seems in the many games already played this season when nothing was done about the bad calls, they just seem to continue. I can see an instance like Hill and the circumstances that caused it to happen again if the officiating continues on it's piss poor pace
  17. I think our poor tackling last game pissed me off more then anything
  18. the reason I'd dismiss the bayley angle is because she was on Raw, and is on Raw every week, so for Angle to say "Why don't you come here next week" doesn't make any sense. IMO the gay angle works because there is still a certain stigma out there that being gay is a bad thing, which a lot of people are trying to break the barriers on. I can see Angle saying what he did as a point of relation people can take out there, and why many still choose to remain in the closet. The WWE is big on these social stigma campaigns, and I could see them using this angle as way to promote that being gay is ok. I realize Angle is pretty big, and maybe that's why they are using him as a poster child if you will. Everything about that convo says it's a coming out party, The question is with who.
  19. With Johnson, Wild and Okpalaugo(Likely) out this week, I have the feeling we're going to need to go toe to toe with the argos offensively to win this one. something like that 43-40 game a few weeks back. I sure hope Lapo takes off the kids gloves and calls a infinitely better game on thursday than fridays
  20. I'm starting to think Angle is coming out of the closet. Breaking down that above bolded dialog, it's someone who hasn't, or wasn't on Raw. I read somewhere Adam Cole is set to join WWE pretty soon. Wonder if he plays up the angle with Angle.
  21. I don't condone any kind of physical contact on an official first and foremost. That said I can be a little sympathetic to the hamilton players who were having a close game gifted to the opposition with REALLY brutal calls one after the other after the other, finally losing his cool in a game most guys are playing full tilt emotionally. I'm good with the punishment
  22. My guess is it was Steph to lead to a Angle/HHH feud, but the timing is awful. This would have been a better feud after the royal rumble when the road to WM begins, but then again, Summerslam is in about 6 weeks, maybe they feel a match is now or never(ish)
  23. If this Knox experiment doesn't work, is there anyone out there we can airlift in? Could we talk Winston Venable out of retirement or would the argo's own his rights?
  24. the answer is simple. We need more and higher class strip clubs in the city. It has paid off for the Als for many of years, and we have been missing the boat.
