Went and checked out Spider Man Homecoming tonight with my son. Best Spider Man to date (even better than spider man 2). Super funny. I had my reservations about Holland playing Peter Parker but he nails it. A couple things I didn't care for but overall a great new re-introduction to the character. Highly recommend seeing it

It wasn't a bad call, if you don't make it your 3rd and short and you go for it, so 2nd and short opens up the playbook. Problem with the play was Nichols overthrew him about 15 yards, which he (Nichols) did a few times with other receivers. IIRC JFG had a pretty clutch grab deep last year, albeit in the middle of the field, but I think he's shown he can run routes and catch. Speed might be questionable, but we'll never know how that play turns out if Nichols puts it on the money.

it was a nice missed FG return until he decided to move back into the field, if he's going to go back into traffic he needs to secure the ball better. I think we also got lucky on that dressler fumble that went out of bounds earlier in the game

I was saying to my dad yesterday I was surprised after 8 mins gone in the first there had been no flags thrown. As the game went on there were a few times I felt there should have been flags thrown, but weren't, such as that play Harris got tackled immediately before the ball was thrown to him, and then on another 2 plays, 1. where nichols was thrown to the ground after the whistle blew, and the other when Nichols took a shot to the chin from the defenders helmet. Perhaps a memo was sent out to be less flag happy, but not calling some blatant ones was a little frustrating

man... 3 weeks... 3 strikes.... Next year I'm voting all riders with this kind of **** luck

I wish I could say our oline was a bright spot but thats 2 games in a row nichols has taken some serious punishment. I said it in the GDT but tonight nichols looked like willy 2.0. But yes poop and nevis have been solid in the middle and alexander has been good in the sense you dont hear his name often but man carmichael gets picked like a nose full of boogers

Tried Famous Dave's out in the tailgate area, the pulled pork sandwich was good Tried Shock Top beer, different. Orange flavour base with a good after taste. But $23 for 2 was a bit steep Lots of hotties out and about. Cheerleaders look hotter this year Can't really think of many positives football wise though

Not a fan at all with the park and ride anymore after tonight. The school buses are soooo f'n tight I'm pretty sure I had to lift my nuts just to squeeze into the seats. For someone with bad knees it's painful. We parked near the perimeter and St. Annes so last year th bus would take us via the perimeter which makes all the sense in the world. Tonight they took us all the way down st. annes then bishop then all the way back down pembina. The new area looks cooler with the pedestrian over pass but imo Chancellor was just as quick. The only difference is avoiding all the people walking to pembina

Disappointed in how they lost tonight, such as no points in the second half, but yes season is still young and were 1-1. I think its actually better our weaknesses are being exposed early as we have a lot of time to fix them. Much prefer it now then to suddenly find ourselves late in the season with a bunch of ?'s

with how bad Nichols was at hitting his receivers tonight, and the drops when he did hit them... not sure going deep was going to work. I think JFGs TD grab was the longest reception of the night and mostly due to the YAC

Carmichael ain't getting it done, I think it's time for him to go

Our Oline has looked bad way too much last 2 games. Nichols getting rocked early then I swear to god he started playing like Drew Willy. The receivers let him down a few times, but what an ugly game offensively save for JFG

lol I don't hate the people for doing it, it's just always awkward you either got Buddy who's looking for it but no ones answerin or you got Guy who's got no aim

looking at Calgary's OL as well, I think on paper we have the better trenches on both sides of the ball. Would love to see BLM eat some turf early and often to get the crowd going ape ****. I just hope I don't have to high five strangers lol That's a bit of a pet peeve of mine even tho I oblige

I'd rather see money spent into building some kind of star base like they had in Star Trek Beyond (Yorkton) or Elysium. I'm not really sure what will come first, the ability to colonize another planet, or the destruction of earth, so it might be wiser to start building a space station capable of sustaining a large populous as a stop gap measure

for the sake of $678 (on a $5 sport select) i need montreal winning by 1-3 points, Winnipeg winning by 1-3 points, and doesn't matter about the other 2 games as long as it's within 1-3 points. (preferably Toronto and Hamilton tho i picked Sask in the pick ems)

never had to rake a green but I keep thinking of Mars Sandhills in that they built the entire, or the majority of the course overtop of sand. It's great to reduce water on the course but I seem to remember it slowing down the ball in the fairways and causing some issues on the green. That cloud of gnats and black flies sounds like what I was dealing with for the first 5 holes. No amount of bug spray seemed to keep them at bay, I was certain they were Horseflies but they didn't bite so probably just some juiced up reg flies
