  1. rider fans seemed convinced it's them and rightfully so with the VY but I have a suspicion it's the argos myself. But wouldn't be surprised if it's the Als (I think thats who macks with now?) Olafioye needs a back up
  2. with Hardy Boyz contract with ROH up april 1st, rumors going around they will make a WM33 return in the triple threat ladder match with Gallows/Anderson vs Enzo/Cass vs Cesaro/Shamus. https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/wwe-wrestlemania-33-rumors-hardy-boyz-likely-to-win-raw-tag-titles-at-wwe-wrestlemania-33 I'd love to see them back in the WWE
  3. Certainly a staple of my childhood when it came to horror movies. Sadly rewatching it it became clear most of Kings novels turned movies were made for TV so when something bad was going to happen they cut to black vs showing gore. Hopefully this remake goes all out
  4. I think they kind of do already with all the solo movies, most of the avengers have their own things going on, unless there is like a global threat then they assemble. Spiderman imo is like all the Netflix series, in that he's the protector of his neighborhood, until the time comes for him to band together to fight a larger threat. The smartest thing Marvel has done is introduce S.H.I.E.L.D. back in Iron Man 1, that is really the tying force behind everything, including luke cage and Iron fist eventually teaming up with spiderman as an Avengers B-team if you will. They really set themselves up to make these movies and tv shows for years to come. Was reading an interview with Chris Evans in the sun yesterday, and he said while his contract is up after Avengers 4 (presumably infinity wars part 2), he wants to continue the Captain America character because Marvel/Disney is doing such a great job with the movies. If they sucked, he might have a different opinion, but they are a cinematic gold. I also like the continuity with the same actor reprising roles, then the focus can be on the movie vs constantly trying to compare the new actor to their predecessor. Hopefully they can stay with Holland for a while, 3 different spider man's in recent memory is a lot, felt the same way when Ruffalo took over the Hulk, hopefully he sticks with it for a while
  5. i agree doesn't need a whole lot of screen time, but lets assume Thanos gets the infinity stones into that infinity gauntlet, he'd be pretty much unstoppable. it would take something or someone with perhaps the power cosmic? the only difficulty would be trying to explain why SS is there at the right time and why he even cares
  6. I actually liked how they made silver surfer look in FF2, but the biggest issue you is SS's main enemy is Galactus and he would be hard to translate to movie. That ominous cloud was just awful. If they were smart, they should have SS do a surprise appearance in the infinity wars to help beat Thanos, one of his enemies. He also has feuds with Dormammu and Loki at different points in time, so he should/could be integrated back into the MCU
  7. FF was doomed to fail the minute they decided not to include H.E.R.B.I.E.
  8. I thought they did a good job with doc oc where they just left his arms as robotic, the rest of him was as is. But I guess the sinister 6 idea died with the garfield spider man when Harry stumbles onto Oscorps secret RD lab in amazing spider man 2. My concern with this over robotic suits appearing like the green goblin, rhino, now vulture, is the same fate will happen with scorpion one day, probably mysterio too if either of these guys ever make it to the big screen. Would like to see the Chameleon one day too, with his ties to Hydra, could set up for a captain america/spiderman movie
  9. I can't find the footage shown, but at Sony's ComicCon they announced the title, plot and some footage of Jumanji 2... going by the title of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Featuring the Rock, Kevin Hart and Jack Black here is an excerpt of the plot from the footage shown; http://consequenceofsound.net/2017/03/jumanji-premieres-first-footage-stupid-new-title-at-sonys-cinemacon/ I actually liked the first Jumanji as a kid in 1995 (i would have been 13) so hopefully it doesn't disappoint, my oldest son will be 13 by the time this comes out, maybe something we can enjoy together
  10. lol well if your gonna pull up an old man winter pic of the vulture it'll obviously look crappier. I guess I need to see more of the current vulture to see if his helmet is retractable. One of the Vultures main powers is absorbing the life out of victims making him young and the victim elderly including Spider Man. If Keaton was a "younger" Adrian Toomes after stealing some life then fine, but if you hide that youth under a helmet whats the point.
  11. this apparently how Woodbine will end up looking as Shocker. meh...
  12. I like Keaton the actor, and his normal side in this may be good, I just don't like the look of the vulture after the fact, way too robotic
  13. rewatched it, yeah I don't like the overly robotic vulture suit. but at the 1:45 mark there appears to be a henchmen who has some kind of electric device he hits spider man with into the side of a school bus... could it be Shocker? Henchmen don't normally get a lick on spidey at the best of times **edit I see it on imdb Bokeem Woodbine plays Herman Schultz/Shocker
  14. felt the same way watching the trailer, same with Marissa Tomei as aunt may, but i understand Peter Parker is supposed to be wicked young, so at 52 i guess it adds up. My biggest issue isn't so much Keaton, but that the vulture looks too robotic. first thing I thought of was the way they made the Green Goblin in Toby Maguire's Spider Man which I wasn't a big fan of. But Marvel has been doing a good job with their movies so my expectations are high with this
  15. I think Idris Elba looks the part for John Stewart
  16. I'd say Fantuz was pretty good coming out of the CIS. When Vandervoort's name was first brought up a while back, it was said he's comparable to Fantuz. Interestly enough, Fantuz took it upon himself to try and train a bit with Vandervoort this offseason. Not sure if it happened or not though; http://www.cfl.ca/2017/01/31/present-meets-past-no-lack-similarities-vandervoort-fantuz/ In any case, if this kid was the next fantuz, I'd be all over that at draft time. No offense to JFG but he is no Fantuz (at least early in his career Fantuz)
  17. cfl.ca says there's also future considerations involved whatever that means.. draft picks maybe? http://www.cfl.ca/2017/03/23/report-als-close-landing-six-time-star-olafioye/
  18. I think if done right, cyborg could have/should have been a stand alone film with the big payoff at the end with Bruce Wayne approaching him. A lot of potential for a big screen version of the cyborg origin. IMO Aquaman and Flash aren't nearly as deep of a story to make a captivating full length feature. They work well as support characters, but like the flash tv show totally lost interest after the first few episodes cuz it was just the same crap again again using speed to solve today's problem and if iirc aquaman the tv show lasted like 1 or 2 episodes last time they tried. It's too bad they dropped the ball with the Green Lantern and he is not in this film. a JL without Superman and GL makes it more of a super friends then the Justice League to me
  19. I'd imagine the higher up you go the closer to the speakers you get = louder sound. If you turn it down to cater to the upper level, you risk making it too quiet for the lower bowl
  20. god this guys funny AF
  21. I totally didn't notice it my bad
