after the **** show that was the mike kelly era and how bad OB became (seriously thats what riderfans has become) I just dont get as emotionally invested in posting as I may have been at one time, were i feel the need to argue a point till the dead horse is black and blue. seems like thats usually the cause of most problems, 2 sides needing the last word. but at the end of the day if i still smoked the devils lettuce, i'd sit back, light one up and remember....

I wouldnt personally, I think durants best days are behind him(scary to think im only a few weeks older then him) If nichols continues to play decent ball i'd probably just outright release willy in the offseason and hope our backups can answer the call next season if nichols goes down. Davis is in his what 2nd year with the bombers? I would hope by year 3 (next) he would be more then capable to run our offense when called upon

The hype definitely by far exceeded the results so far. Though, if we had picked up jones and murphy after our own crappy season last year, I would have totally bought in to think were saved. But his roster moves, ego and stuff hes doing has and will continue to remind me of mike kelly and that would sour me quick. Riderfans reminds me a lot like ourbombers towards the end

Imho the ticats werent even that "good". Lucky break on the first td by fantuz, riders with 14 penalties in the first half, DD had one of the worst nights ive seen him play, and the riders secondary is hot garbage vs the long ball. Im sure the rifles could have beat that rider team tonight

there was a stamps fan that recently posted on RF There was a reoccuring theme, in the GDT, that the team looked like they quit on Jones, DD looks like he quit too. This over course could be alcohol fueled emotion running wild, but something worth factoring in. If its true, whats easier to replace your roster,. or your coach(es)

I was talking to my buddy and he said "better be careful getting to confident vs the riders, they were 0-8 or 0-9 when we gave them their first win last year" I've actually heard this statement a few times lately, but tbh, the riders came out of the gate in 2015 like a limp noodle record wise, but the first part of their season they were a hell of a lot more competitive losing most of their games by 5 or less. The team this year is a whole nother level of stank

not sure what was worse, this ass whoopin or the montreal deuce. all i know is i spent the entire game just following along the rider GDT on riderfans and by page 6 it went from "gotta good feeling about this..." to 50+ pages following with nothing but tears swears and bickering :D

I might be in the minority here, but I might make Fogg the full time returner and maybe have him back up in the secondary. reminds a lot like Jovan Johnson, ball hawking DB but good returner, but I think when playing one or the other his game can be elevated. If our issue is an abundance of capable DBs, then I dont see the harm in having Fogg focus on those returns solely

As much as im enjoying the riders turmoil, im a little torn who i want to win this one. with the way the bombers are playing suddenly i dont want the the stamps running away with first

When she returns in modern time he's old (but alive) and she hasn't aged. It would make more sense for it to be wwii in this movie tho assuming it's supposed to be now, after the fact

Nichols has done enough that there should be no debate, but our D! 14 turnovers to our 1 last 3 games. Props to the oline too keeping nichols pretty clean

I guess her wielding a shield while getting shot at by nazis is very captain america-esque, I suppose there could be an argument as to each of those characters being their "universal" counter part, as there are so many blatant rip offs of each other between marvel and DC. I'd rather see the wonder woman story revolve around the greek mythology of her background. I was always a big fan of the God of War games where you would actually fight gods, I think it would translate well on the big screen. Not like wrath of the titans portrayal of Chronos, but I think they could have a field day with Hades and Ares if done right

they showed a trailer for Wonder Woman at Suicide Squad. Gotta say it was underwhelming. especially if it takes place during WWII. While Im familiar with the cartoon version of her little intro to the "real" world after Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washes up on the shore of themyscira, it didnt seem like they had much chemistry in the trailer. Call it a hunch but I think that movie is gonna tank. IMHO the justice league is a far better outlet to have characters like the flash, WW, Aquaman...etc because it's not an entire film following them solo. I kinda think this is where the Green Lantern and possibly Superman fails at times. Batman is the only character that succeeds solo because he's kind of like an anti hero who can be pushed to blur the line between right and wrong. everyone else are cookie cutter good guys with story limitations

Looks ok, but to be perfectly honest I'm nowhere near as interested in rogue one as I am for episode 8. I guess its a good distraction since itll be another year and half, but I guess my excitement for this one is a little tempered

Just got back from suicide squad, it was alright. Still prefer ledgers joker to leto, but all in all ive seen a lot worse movies. Should probably get a sequel

iirc Nichols should have had a few more wins under his belt last year but our kicking blew us at least 2 games (home game vs edmonton, and calgary - tho that was aided by a BS call that stalled our drive forcing a kick attempt). However Nichols only got to play because willy got hurt. Most coaches dont abide by taking a guys job away due to injury. the fact willy wasnt healthy again until week 1 in 2016 is why nichols wasnt starting. Has nothing to do with being a terrible arm chair gm, more so as it does with being realistic to the circumstances
