I still think we should have beat edmonton at home on july 17th, we were up 16-0 (i think) at one point, or maybe 16-3 but we started playing soft D and reilly/bowman/walker picked us apart. I think that 2nd half break down should have been the rise of Nichols at least in the 4th. our fate could have been different that game, and who knows maybe nichols gets the start vs calgary the following week.

Im certain till the end of the year at least. I also believe we havent seen the end of willy behind center. I think he gets one more shot to see how he responds to his first real adversity. Everytime previous hes been out has been due to injury so it was almost a given his job was secure. now hes out right getting beat out by his backup. if given another shot its shape up or ship out

I noticed during the bombers-ticats game Sara Orlesky standing on the ticats sideline pretty much right between Maher and his long snapper practicing snaps. there was like little room for them to practice but there she was just casually standing there giving them a really tight lane to warm up. lol good ol wpg girl doin her part!

I wouldn't be to quick to get rid of willy. Last year when he got hurt and Nichols filled in he was OK but we were still losing so everyone was like get well soon willy we need you. So that sense of job security could have a part in his... lack of fire. Now that Nichols is winning I'm curious to see if that's the motivation he needed. If/when Nichols starts to struggle I'd rather give willy one more shot before Davis or Bennette. If he's truly done then, then it's time to cut the cord

Id say the rum hut would be delighted by the delay but they too are shut down during the delays. Gotta wonder if they build some kind of shelter to protect it so it can stay open. not saying people couldnt get their liquor elsewhere but 4 hours of delay is a lot of lost revenue for them specifically.

I think we might have held onto our lead vs edmonton (20-16 game) other then that all the other losses we were on the outside looking in too early

at the game I said to my son and my dad, while I was overly pumped by the 1st half dominance, it would be more telling in the 2nd half as hamilton would make adjustments , something they couldnt seem to do in the first 2 quarters. Seemed to me with a 34 point cushion, the bombers were in No turn overs, run out the clock mode. While I agree with Dunigan to an extent, we were in unfamiliar territory as of late where we had the game firmly in hand early. The 2nd half wasnt as exciting as the first but we only gave up 11 points, which is pretty good for 2 quarters playing bend but dont break style ball. great game

After watching thesecondary last week, this is the most comfortable ive felt about our secondary line up this year. I still suspect johnson and roberts to be the main ones picked on, hopefully loffler can help johnson n fogg + roberts

So my wonder atm is; Nichols has definitely played himself into the next start, but what if he falters? Does he get the same amount of patience Willy was show out of the gate this year, or will they quickly throw willy back in. If willy is thrown back in has he had enough time to work on his issues or is it back to square one? Or is willy's time essentially done, and Davis gets an opportunity?

I thought about turning the game off with 2 mins left thinking the stamps were done, especially after that failed single by parades to make it a 7 point game. For whatever reason I decided to see what the stamps would do defensively n sure enough, int. followed by a td drive n 2pt convert. OT was kind of lame but still a great game, glad I stuck it out. Imagine the bombers putting up 41 n losing, especially in a game they had relative control over for 57 mins

haven't read the whole thread, so im sure its been mentioned, but there is a lot of room for willy vs nichols. That one play that stands out for me is where nichols was about to get sacked, escaped and hit adams (I believe) down field while on the run. That play doesnt happen with willy, at least the willy of late. if willy does escape that pressure, guarantee he throws it 2 yards in front of him to harris, not looking at the other targets. Ive seen willy throw the little dump passes too often when there isnt even pressure yet, like he sees the Dline in front of the Oline and panics. I think composure is an obvious VS with our qbs atm

theres a difference between hate and sheer annoyance of it all. from the zombies glued to their phone causing issues by paying more attention to their phone then their surroundings, to people constantly talking about it anywhere and everywhere you go (especially annoying when you dont play) and its practically destroyed my fb with stupid posts over and over again. you like pokemon? great have fun, but seriously dont infect my world with your childish game, which seems to be unavoidable

people can walk around in their house. I see people walking around with their face in their phones, not watching where they are going and not actually interacting with anything outside. I get asked several times a day by cashiers and random people if i found the pokemons in the store or area, im like i dont play and they look disappointed. I do like those FB memes about it being a government app that can monitor your actual activities, not just be a blip on a gps radar, saw one that it could eventually be a military strategy to get large amounts of people into specific areas for locked on bombing locations. total BS but kind of scary if ever...

what can we do as fans? the wave. At the edmonton game we were winning, then in the south west corner the wave broke out only to be stopped dead on both sides of the field around the 50 yard line after like 6 attempts. then we started losing... coincidence?

dont get me wrong, the trailers look decent as far as will i watch the movies or not, obviously yes, just wasn't overly wow'd. my 12 year old got pretty excited when he saw Cyborg tho in the JL trailer. I saw a pic earlier about Hulk wearing armor in Thor: Ragnarok and while I'm familiar with the gladiator like fighting they seem to do in asgard, and even when the hulk is there, im a little skeptical. IMHO they have had trouble with the CGI of the hulk at the best of times, ruffalo's, nortons, bana's...ect this might look even worse on him this is a common look he's had in various works

i watched the JL trailer, gotta say i wasnt super blown away. Bruce Waynes introduction to Barry Allen reminded me a lot of Tony Stark and Peter Parker in Civil War
