I dont disagree with the reasoning behind their actions (NBA) i just think its a little silly to say, its ok to have a team and play regular games all these years (and continue to) but because of your state laws (which has nothing to do necessarily with the city of charlotte or the hornets franchise) its now suddenly not ok because of your senators decided not to change an existing law. I get the concept of the all star games, but really, would sponsors have not got on board regardless? its a PR move and i really dont think it will change anything, especially if theres a time gap between when a bill can be reviewed again (not sure about that)

Iso's not wrong tho, just because the politicians are dbags doesnt mean the fans who MAY be genuinely good people should miss out, punishing the many for the acts (or lack there of) of a few. when i heard the story, it was said they recently went to review the bill in congress or whatever legislation they use in NC and it was barely touched/changed. Yet basketball is pretty big in NC and has a current NBA team prior to this PR move while the same laws have been in place.

true, a lot will depend on the time hes got. if our oline shows up to play id like to see a few down field in the first half. I'd also like to see a big game from mayo, i liked what i saw in preseason from him, golden opportunity to shine right now

would you feel more confident if he dink and dunked all game and with the game on the line, then started to try and go deep? i would think some rapport with his receivers early would help the teams psyche as the game wore on. of course its kind of high risk high reward, some early picks or drops and its down ye ol crapper once again lol

I think itd do well for his confidence if he came out of the gate firing long. Establish the pass to set up the run. God knows the other way hasnt been working

id rather see the sure handed guys in the middle and YAC getters (which imo kolhert has proven to be at least sure handed) and speed on the outside i guess im old fashioned

im gonna say a big ol nope. regardless of "garbage" time theres argument that can be made that all our games finished relatively close. obviously not good enough but I dont think anyone expected us to come out of the gate with a ton of wins, so even with a loss thursday night mos will survive
