  1. damn wish i knew that as a kid, I used to play Gradius and castlevania games somewhat regularly
  2. I've had this discussion before with an ex about the controller tossing or hitting it cuz it didnt do what i wanted it to do lol had to step away from the video games after
  3. contra code for 30 lives, easy to beat a game with that kinda boost lol and LMAO @ electric seaweed, I used to always get stuck at some point in the game where the buildings would keep you from getting to the next sewer. glad the games got a little better after that first one. except that street fighter version of ninja turtles, that was kinda lame
  4. Lol such a hard game, always used to throw my controller when I was jumping over lava but u get hit and it knocks you into it
  5. Maynards a great artist, imo very underrated in the limelight. I stumbled across this video like a week ago, enjoyed watching it
  6. I used to listen to mudvayne all the time, Chad Gray moving over to Hellyeah and joined by Vinnie Paul was what intrigued me to give em a listen. As for Korn, I saw them in july 2000 and was a pretty good show, but yeah they've gone straight down hill since Head left the band. I heard a few months back despite releasing a new record, they were going on tour (I think maybe with Slipknot) and playing their self titled album in it's entirety - which would be cool as it was their best album. I was a little surprised when I saw them billed with limp bizkit on that montebello rock fest in june. Never seen limp bizkit but i'll admit they were a guilty pleasure in the late 90's from their first 2 albums
  7. that was my favorite NES game , the adventures of link... not so much. probably cuz it's so ridiculously hard to beat. I bought an NES off kijiji back around 2010 living out in the country and a wack load of games including Link, so fn hard to make it to the final level without dying, then only having x amount of lives. no continues from within the level, just back to the first palace where zeldas sleeping. guess i should have looked for game genie lol Mike Tysons Punch Out was another fav, that was part of those games too, only 1x did i last 3 rounds with iron mike and still lost on the score card lol
  8. no I wouldnt put bo dallas in the same class as AJ, but again thats where that step ladder thing could be beneficial, your upper tier are in the heavy weight champion belt for the top guys, IC for the mid carders, US for everyone trying to break out. Bo would be in the US title pile, but at some point they could easily put him on a streak and he moves up to the IC title picture, almost like world rankings but with 3 distinct tiers. as it stands now I hate the way WWE does their title format. seems like at any point anyone can just go and challenge the champ and get a shot (assuming no one else objects or you get a #1 contender match) I rather believe a wrestler getting "hot" and winning his way to a #1 position would be better. fans at least can get behind that rising wrestler during the rise. IMO a guy like roman did nothing to deserve his shot, and hasnt done sweet F all to keep getting a shot (up until he won) he wins 1 match (RR) and suddenly hes a top guy? nope not for me, and probably most fans
  9. I cant remember what wrestling game it was, but there was a certain stepladder format, where you win, you move up a spot, you lose, you drop, but ultimately your trying to reach the top (champ being #1) it really wouldnt be a bad thing to do with a less prestige title such as the US title and make that a focal point for the not quite so mid carders
  10. I get what your saying, and get what he's saying. A good point he makes is about merch. wrestlers being put over will get that perk (extra $) and it takes the guys laying down to allow them to win. Nobody cheers for a perennial loser, unless your some novelty gimmick people get behind. I think his is issue is the parity between top to bottom. Would it be better if all wrestlers got paid within a closer base pay, obviously top stars on the higher end, or would it serve the wrestler better if they were each given guaranteed limelight time a year, like a little win streak stretch that sees them as an title contender (but dont have to win) just to help their fan fare?
  11. looks like ryback could be gonzo from wwe over money; http://slam.canoe.com/Slam/Wrestling/2016/05/03/22629598.html heres his msg (and he wasnt present for this past raw;
  12. I always wondered how Alexandria would have been built in TWD amidst the zombie apocalypse, I always got the feeling some of these communities were pre-built with some inside info I mean deanna's husband was the architect but it would take some time to put up those re-enforced walls with some sort of military/militia to keep the walkers at bay. When rick and co. arrive there there is like 2-3 guys working as scouts but over all they were inexperienced to the outside new world and most people in the town were beyond inexperienced. It makes me think this was built just prior to DDay
  13. compared to the last 2 episodes of FTWD i found this one to be a little better, I get the feeling with everything that was set up to make their way to mexico they may reveal the cause of the outbreak eventually cuz it seems like it was known before hand, and not a big deal to these guys (luis and that abigail guy)
  14. not surprised at all, and very much looking forward to it; http://www.designntrend.com/articles/75271/20160502/the-punisher-marvel-netflix-orders-season-1-of-daredevil-spinoff-show-jon-bernthal-stars.htm
  15. I think his play outweighs his tweets when it comes to remembering him, at least for me
  16. Ive never been to the one on panet (tho i heard of their incident) i drove by there on sat night and was a little surprised to see that carnival going on, but also the KP parking lot at the same time. Ive been to the one at KP and from what i remember it was usually held on mothers day. weird they would have moved the date up and had them both running like a block from each other
  17. http://www.metronews.ca/views/winnipeg/urban-compass/2016/05/02/a-carnival-next-to-the-cmhr-is-perfectly-appropriate.html apparently the carnival they hold at the forks since forever is now being denied its permit, reason is it's inappropriate to have it so close to the human rights museum. lol what a load of BS. If that was the case they should move the goldeyes field, the skate park, ban that ice sculpture city that was there too, cuz heaven forbid people have fun near the CMHR
  18. best of luck in your future endeavours, mr hefney, one of my fav bombers over the last decade without a doubt
  19. meh i still prefered mts for its uniqueness
  20. isnt there already a bell center tho in montreal
  21. id rather see the mts center change to true north center or true north arena, no bell tho
  22. hmmm AJ, Gallows and Anderson doing the Kliq symbol thingy, is this a universal wrestling gesture or are they stealing it?
  23. i think no one was waiting for this
  24. thats too bad, i liked his play, and seems like a real character on the sidelines. if he was healthy he'd have made a great DE to go with our other 3 studs, would have been close to if not the top Dline in the league imo
