My friend ripped my head off when I talked about the Jets tanking, she was down right scary angry saying she didnt buy season tickets to watch them lose no matter how out of the playoffs they were. I get it, but I try to be optimistic (with tanking) It's too hard to tank in the CFL when 80% of the league gets into the playoffs, you gotta be a whole new level of suck to suck that much (we haven't made the playoffs since 2011...ridiculous) However, because the CFL is such a small league, I feel a personal level of dislike for each and every team, especially when you can get so familiar with them. Watching us beat the piss outta someone is still satisfying even if we arent in the playoffs

George appeals to the younger crowd though, I remember his days on Much Music's Loud and he was by far the best VJ they had on the network. the guys smart, funny and current. I never watched his talk show tho admittedly, but if I was to tune into one his would have been it despite it's political undertone and it being on CBC (both unappealing to me). Other then taking the lead of an iconic canadiana show, I dont think it was a bad move. If you wanted a young rising canadian, he was a solid pick

He brings up valid concerns though, they are just obvious...very very obvious. Is it being negative for the sake of being negative, maybe, but there's nothing wrong with having concerns. It would be nice if he either dedicated half the article to positives, such as our Dline upgrade, our new offensive players and no more MB, but maybe that's for his next article

I listen to Octane alot on Sirius - kinda like Freak 107 was but heavier, they play their share of symphonic metal, usually with a female vocalist in there, I could see that middle chick who sings the most, becoming one of those types, I can't imagine those 2 pig tailed girls stick around very long with that band

the vid you posted reminded me of anime but with a final fantasy soundtrack (at least FFX had their take on some metal) the music is decent (would be better without the synthesizer) , but i dunno about these girls and their weird dancing. I'm still waiting for the death growl and hair twirl lol

pitch counts are really good stats to follow, especially on a per inning basis with the pitchers. but what was sanchez at 90-95 range for pitches after 7 complete. 110+ is pushing it for a starter, but the year is so early, and he's still throwing heat, there's no reason to not give him the 8th (maybe even 9th if he shut down the 8th like he had been doing) especially with Osuna unavailable tonight and a noon game tomorrow
