I dont disagree, but would you feel confident in the security at one of these conventions in keeping you safe? it's like shooting fish in a barrel for someone(s) who can manage to get in with something destructive. I sometimes wonder how people actually get in their guns and stuff, like when you hear about that paris attack. I know going to concerts at the MTS center they search you at the gate (same with sporting events). I havent been to the Burt in a while, I can't recall what kind of security they have in place, but is it so hard to wand someone at the doors?

it certainly has grounds for debate, on one had with recent consistent attacks across the world in public places where people gather in big numbers, ones right to protect themselves sounds reasonable, but on the other hand, with the way some of these rally's have gone, how tragic would they have become had the people fighting actually had weapons on them

this was kinda funny, the clip starts at the 3:02 mark

any guess who that was who spoke to batman when he kind of awoke in his dream that says, he was right all along about superman, before finally waking up completely ** i thought it might have been the flash and thats apparently what other people are thinking too when i looked it up, like this

well the locust type enemies in batman's vision and the Omega symbol are clearly darkseid, as this is what his minions look like and he can corrupt people from afar with his darkness, but they usually get the omega symbol on their forehead. If you watch the finale of smallville and the few episodes leading up to it, they did a better job with that regard. I was honestly hoping at the end when Lex is incarcerated, when they told him to put his head against the wall and hands behind his back and the lights started flickering, that he was going to turn around to either darkseid himself or at least turn with the omega symbol on his head and blackened eyes, and say in an ominous voice that the darkness has arrived. not his little crazy spiel he went off on

his stats are irrelevant to me especially for year 1, but what should we realistically expect from him in year 2 before we start forming an opinion on how this pick turned out -
I noticed yesterday more then before anyways, during HHH's promo with steph that he holds the mic right against his face under his bottom lip, I'm not certain but I think i saw Undertaker do something similar in the opening of the show, roughly around the time he started talking about WM being his yard and HiaC being his house - and he got a little "shakey" in voice and movement with his non mic holding hand. Is this a common thing to do with the mic to keep your nerves in check?

That andre the giant battle royal looks awful, probably one of the worst gimmick matches running right now. #bringbackkingofthering

I did just enjoy jericho hitting Ryder with JLB's hat, could have been all over there lol. but thats not good news, i was hoping for big things as this is last raw before wm

great kick off to the show with shane and taker (missed the earlier run)

We be tankin' it (official tanking thread) ...

ok i can finally look at this thread lol heres my thoughts on it; the good: It was better then MoS Ben affleck as good, Cavill I'm buying more into as superman, less of a drama queen as he was in MoS, but still lets his emotions rule the day; I liked the Kryptonite smoke that he'd inhale as the equalizer vs a kryptonite infused suit. much easier to believe (limited supply) and good way to back and forth the fight. The bad; waaay to long of a movie, by the time wonder woman was fighting with them i was checked out. jesse eisenberg... is not lex, at all. Why did batman have a premonition to darkseid and lois lane being the key? hes a human with no special powers. if they took the same little bit of time and switched it for Wonder woman, itd have made more sense for her, or one of her amazonian ppl to foresee this apocalypse and urge her to get involved now and recruit for the coming darkness little disappointed in the nothing really but a blur that was the flash, and then a waste of space showing Aquaman was. of the "metahumans" shown, Cyborg was probably the only one worth watching Superman retrieves the spear from the water and goes limp like a dead fish, yet he can fly with it a short time later. inconsistent. Other: I didn't realize Bruce's mom was named Martha too, i got a little giggle at the beginning when his dads last breath is "Martha" i thought for sure they'd become super friends hugely in part to both having a mom named Martha

Poblah played too, the comparison, was supplemental picks, I did say too early to tell but could very well end up being kito 2.0. He didnt do much year 1 tho so if not much changes this year... -

its a little early to compare, but Richards and Waggoner might end up Etienne and Poblah. walters got Chungh, Mack got Muamba, I`d say its almost a wash for both gms as far as drafts go imo -

I think it was to showcase what is on the line for MOS, it's not just a nonchalant season that win or lose can or will be shrugged off. In all honesty I didnt even know MOS had a family. the focus has mainly been on him as a coach and him as a former player. It definitely gives it a different perspective as to what he's got at stake this season -

If he can post a 10-8+ record this year i can forgive/forget the last 2 years. and get behind him as a coach for years to come. It still kind of bothers me that he's completely removed from one aspect of the game (Offense) but cup half fulling it, then i can say at least he didnt have much or anything to do with the crappy play calling last couple years -
I think I'll be seeing this for sure now strictly for nostalgia purposes, BeeBop, Rocksteady, Krang, and what I'm guessing is the Technodrome hovering in the sky

Listening to O'shea on CJOB this morning, it's hard not to like the guy, but liking him as a coach is a different beast. I'm hoping for a great year, but if it's another lackluster one, i'm not opposed to moving on -
apparently Jared Leto's Joker is supposed to be the spotlight stealer in the Suicide Squad. I was a little skeptical of him doing the role, especially with how he looked in the trailers, but sounds like he took it and ran with it. good to hear, but i'm taking it with a grain of salt for right now, cuz what director isnt going to pump his movies tires. http://hellogiggles.com/jared-leto-joker-suicide-squad-cast/ This chilling effect doesn’t come without work. TBH, his Joker has been freaking us out (in an awesome way) for almost a year now, but we think it’s been freaking out the cast more, especially considering he’s a serious method actor. “He did some bad things, Jared Leto did,” co-star Viola Davis told Vanity Fair back in February. “He gave some really horrific gifts. He had a henchman who would come into the rehearsal room, and the henchman came in with a dead pig and plopped it on the table, and then he walked out. And that was our introduction into Jared Leto.” In fact, Jared even sent each individual cast member creepy gifts. “I’m terrified as a person thinking, ‘Is he crazy?’ But the second part was, ‘Oh ****, I gotta have my stuff together. You talk about commitment,’” Viola recalled. “And then he sends Margot Robbie a black rat. It was still alive, in a box. She screamed. . . And then she kept it!” Talk about commitment! If he stopped the crew dead in their tracks, we can’t imagine how awesomely creeped out we’ll be when we see Suicide Squad in theaters on August 5th.

Game 74 : Kings of Leon @ Jets
Taynted_Fayth replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I got some friends who attended their first games the last 2 so they are boasting that they are 100% good luck charms, so if Melchiori is also taking claim, we're not far off from an all out bingo superstition level of reasons why we'll win -
I didnt know where to put this but was seeing a bunch of theories popping up in my news feed, but I kinda feel like in rewatching these movies with this in mind, it might give it a different feel. Might be total BS but it makes a lot of good points and an interesting watch for the 15 mins that it is
