  1. a little more on the Roode/Young thing http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/687325-backstage-news-on-why-eric-young-and-bobby-roode-left-tna I think you might have mentioned something to this effect in the past TUP with regards to TNA. If people are starting to walk over pay issues I wonder how many more will follow, especially if they get picked up by WWE/ROH/NJPW and start getting paid a little more properly. only takes a few opening the door to get a following. (I wasnt aware that both Young and roode are currently holding gold too) With that being said; if the company folded tomorrow, of their roster who could WWE use to bolster their current roster. Im thinking the Hardy's for sure. As much as I never cared for him, I wonder if Abyss + Kane vs the Wyatts would spark up a little interest until some people on the shelf return? Gail Kim, and the beautiful people in the Diva's division, What was the deal with Lashley and Ken Kennedy (Mr. Anderson) on why they suddenly ended up in TNA? fired or just walked when their contracts were up. MVP? Its amazing how many ties the TNA roster has with WWE, they could very well run a whole new invasion angle and just relegate them to NXT or SD if they felt they needed to split up for camera time purposes
  2. you must not have watched Id say that beast did pretty good one 1 leg
  3. I didnt realize Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy) was behind that short lived Bastard Executioner show, I might have watched it, but I was reading he`s planning a prequel to SOA with the original 9 members and a spin off with the Mayans. not new news but apparently there will be some familiar faces throughout if your a SOA fan
  4. meh, if the entire seasons available, I dont see any point in slowly devouring it if it's a good one. I know people who wait for entire seasons to come out on DVD/Blu Ray before they watch a show and then binge it, because like myself, get to antsy for a once per week format. I dont see it as much different
  5. Best 15 bucks I ever spent lol
  6. lol its like watching a really, really long movie. Actually I only started binge watching shows last couple years. I know i've mentioned it before, but it's really more captivating to be able to watch the next episode right after and not kill the momentum. An example of why I don't care for the spacing it out, is TWD. I watch it on sunday nights and am totally excited for tonight's episode, but I'll watch it and be eager to watch the "what happens next" after but can't, and probably tomorrow too, thinking about it. but as the week carries on that excitement starts to cool off, and really by friday/sat i'm not even thinking about it any more. then sunday hits and i'm like oh yeah it's on again! but then I gotta rehash everything that's happened...ect In shows where 1 weeks episode has no consequence on the next, I can stop and go without a problem, a show like Big Bang Theory for example, but I almost take seasons of shows like GoT, Breaking Bad, SOA, DD, TWD like movies and I need a steady flow for max enjoyment. I wouldn't watch part of a movie, leave it on a cliffhanger then walk away, that drives me nuts
  7. a little more on it, looks like he might not direct it, but produce it anyways; the movie will not be in connection with the previous piles of steamin leavin's and be a stand alone film. Also step away from the video game "mythology" and go it's own path http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Furious-7-Director-James-Wan-Joins-Mortal-Kombat-Reboot-76107.html
  8. took a little longer then i thought it would to get thru the season, but SOB i wanna watch DD season 3 now. *le sigh*
  9. Mortal Kombat is looking to reboot in 2017 in a darker, grittier version with James Wan (Fast and Furious 7, the original Saw movie in 2004, Insidious chapter 2 and the Conjuring) to direct. No cast has been finalized but apparently they are going hard after a bunch of big names and stunt ppl. Names circulating on the do-over are; Channing Tatum: Johnny Cage Sean Bean: Raiden Charlize Theron/Ronda Rousey: Sonya Blade Idris Elba: Jax Tim Roth: Reptile Ian Anthony Dale: Scorpion (he apparently played Scorpion in the TV series and was in other movies like the Hangover as Chow's right hand man) Dont know if they'll get any or all of these actors/actresses but it's kind of funny I was talking about the original Mortal Kombat like 2 months ago with an old childhood friend I used to play the video game with. We both agreed they should redo the movie but make it less cheesy and more gorey to make what made the game so appealing when we were kids. I'll be keeping an eye on this project as I'm very interested to see the finalized cast
  10. Bobby Rhoode and Eric Young have left TNA, dont know where they are heading, but thats gonna hurt TNA even more, I think they are regular main carders for the company http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/eric-young-bobby-roode-leaving-tna-wrestling/
  11. I never watched the Sarah Connor Chronicles so maybe they did just that - showcasing the war thru a tv series, but felt they could still offer something to the big screen. all in all I think it was a big swing and a miss. T2 is still one of my all time favorite movies.
  12. Scott Baio is now endorsing Trump. this contest is over
  13. Genysis was far too confusing/complex for its own good. Some aspects of the story were ok, but in the end it seemed like a really unnecessary part of the franchise. If i had my way, I'd have just continued on from Salvation and brought the end of the war. the end. But i guess that just keeps looping back to T1, the humans win and as a last ditch effort skynet sends back a terminator to 1984 over and over again. they really should have stopped the franchise at T2 (maybe went in the direction of a terminator tv chronicling the war), because with their attack on Cyberdyne to obtain the terminator parts they were using to breed new tech, they could have just said we ended the threat. T3 made it a gong show by saying no matter what Judgement Day was inevitable, so any preemptive attacks were futile, only difference being it changes when it happens not if. Id be curious to see if T6 would ignore genysis and pick up from Salvation, and show the humans actually win. I dunno how you skip around that time travel aspect, but maybe make the time traveling device the number one priority first and foremost. If we're to believe Judgement Day would happen irregardless, then just make it without time travel loop holes and be a straight forward disaster and then eventual victory.
  14. I honestly dont think the drumpf will be as bad as he portrays atm. No way most the **** he says will actually happen, hes just being outlandish for the publicity, banking that any publicity is good publicity. Seems his campaign over shadows everyone else on both sides and it might actually end up helping him with the voters who "gotta vote for someone". Not the greatest tactic, but who knows, it has yet to obliterate him at the polls
  15. you mentioned paramount having financial problems before and dropping the little prince or whatever, I saw yesterday or the day before netflix picked it up so it'll move ahead, looks like it was pretty done and ready to go anyways. I also saw Netflix is on board for putting $90 million into a will smith project called Bright http://deadline.com/2016/03/netflix-bright-will-smith-90-million-deal-david-ayer-joel-edgerton-max-landis-1201721574/ so I wonder if Paramount would be willing to part ways or bring in a partner in dealing with a big title like Terminator. no matter how bad the movies can be, it's still likely a decent draw on name alone. I could see someone else such as netflix in this instance more then willing to back the movie financially if it was to be made
  16. Ive seen this girl once upon a time, the the form of I might have to brush up on my highway to hell but were those lyrics like really wrong? I think she called herself the highway to hell lol
  17. apparently so, Paramount wouldnt confirm the terminator project, I wonder if this is just him trying to conjure up interest to get the studios interested
  18. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3499667/Arnold-Schwarzenegger-reveals-sixth-instalment-Terminator-franchise-confirms-ll-back.html
  19. it was fine on one channel last night when i started up episode 5, had the rest of them.
  20. would have been funny if they awarded Hulk Hogan that money but zero to Terry Bollea cuz it was hulk hogan doin all the work
  21. Ravens CB Tray Walker died in a motorcycle crash about an hour or 2 ago http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2625689-tray-walker-injury-updates-on-ravens-cbs-condition-after-motorcycle-crash wasnt a superstar but damn 23 years oldand just starting his career
  22. that Middle Tennessee upset over Michigan State is being seen as one of the biggest ever. Apparently many people had MSU at worst final 4, and a lot favored them to win it all
  23. wonder if they give ladd an ovation tonight
  24. well I;ve gone thru 4 episodes, at this rate im gonna have nothing to watch again lol But i might have to stop at episode 7, for whatever reason Kodi had nothing for DD S2 on genesis and only ep 1-7 and ep 13 on onechannel so i might have to wait for ep 8-12 before i watch the last one
  25. http://news.nationalpost.com/arts/celebrity/maze-runner-star-dylan-obrien-injured-on-set-of-latest-film-reportedly-run-over-by-car While I'm not a fan of the Maze runner movies, I have seen them both. I'm more interested in this story based on the "stunt gone wrong". Isnt this exactly what stunt men are for? Is there any perk to an actor performing his own stunts? I know Jackie Chan was famous for doing his own stunts, but do they get like 2 pay cheques in assuming 2 different jobs on set?
