He’s well poised for a career play off game. interior ol. This is where we’ve struggled (when the tackles are healthy) and this is where we need to beat the Argos on the field. Taylor, rust should be off. Argos will probably test him early. Jones. He’s been a tackling machine, and looked really good next to kyrie in the run game last week. He’s been just off dropping back in pass D from some big plays this year. Could be in for a huge game if he can get a bit deeper earlier. Ford. He’s made some amazing plays in the secondary and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Also, we will need some one from the DL to step up and make some plays. Brady is always and key to what we do, and we are always tough to beat when Kenny the king Lawler shows up.

I don’t think that’ll be a big thing for him tbh. And I mean after coaching in 5 in a row, it is what it is. If some one offers buck an upgraded job this off season, I think he goes. I think the chances he gets that offer is pretty limited though. A moo point?

Agree with all that. It’s kind of crazy how every thing lined up for development. Next years team could be as dominant as 21 if the off season goes well. Qft. yeah our secondary is soo good and young now. If we retain every one the only way you take one of those jobs is injury. The only opening I think we might see is S, and I think we have the guys we’d want to fill that too. we have always scouted dbs exceptionally well. But this year is insane. I don’t think they’ll get one on D. Giving up a td to teams and D is crazy hard to over come. Generally in the cfl, it’s a race to 30. If you win that, you win a great deal of the time. Especially in. Grey cups.

100%. I’m not sure if Lawson was healthy if we would’ve used Jake less or gone two ni dts with more 40 play, or maybe he’d played edge in the 30 with Lawson. But any way you cut it we’d a been a whole lot better. It’s funny we’ve suffered from injury losses at spots and also improved through injuries. Pookie wouldn’t have had the season he had if roadhouse was healthy but we would’ve been better clearly with him. Lber though we improved a lot because of injuries to kyrie and biggie. Turning injuries into development is top level stuff. If we did as well at wr and dl as we did at lber we would’ve laughed our way to the west final and grey cup. Yeah Taylor has looked real solid at S. And it was certainly a loaded camp in terms of talent. Walter’s Mac n co did a fantastic job this year. The big loss really was grant. Though you get not wanting to wager on an injured 30 year old kr. Still hope we bring him back in the off season.

Yeah I don’t disagree. Adam’s might be a bit better roster fit than Haba, but honestly it’s a toss up at best and Haba probably played his best game this year in the west final. Running adams on the edge in a 30 or two imp dt set 40 would give us the best chance to stop the run. But that just isn’t gonna happen. And our dl did do what they had to on all but the long run last week. So I get leaving him off. I think his struggles this year are some what understandable. He’s also real raw. Expect him back in camp next year and hopefully he takes a step forward. Yeah safe to say I think with the nis. Pretty much. I think he’s a high floor player at a lot of positions but lacks the polish to sustain a high level of play at most spots. His versatility kinda became a weakness in terms of development this year. If Hubert can take a step forward next year and Lawson can stay healthy it’ll be a huge help.

He was, but tbh he was moved all over every couple weeks. He struggled playing nose after spending most of the year as a 3 tech then de before that. He should be developed as a 3 and a guy who can slide out for some reps each game. Not a de and not a nose. Tbh he may have hit a rookie wall as well, he struggled with cardio early in the year.

That would make sense. I feel like the gm market will be tougher than coaching. I think Chucking Campbell entirely or as coach makes the most sense but that doesn’t mean it’ll happen. If you don’t replace him with proven winning hc a guy like buck makes sense. That said maksymic has to be on the way out now. But with out a bigger label it’ll be hard to get an oc whose proven. I think buck has a good shot in Ottawa too.

He’s better at S than sam imo. He played the wil nickle some this year before injury, but that was just before our secondary gelled. You’re right he’s excellent at spying either QBs or rbs. Hes deadly on the blitz as well. He’s good as an inside wall guy in the split field zone D. And he’s good at running side line to side line gang tackling on wide runs and screens. He isn’t huge and great at getting off blocks, and isn’t polished enough in pass cover to straight drop while covering a wr in man from the line. If he gets one of those two down he’s an elite cfl starter and probably gets back to the NFL. Hes great at reading the play and coming down field making plays. That’s the whole reason he was drafted into the nfl.

1, the primary concern is teams play (we got killed again last week and go against the best return team and man In the league tomorrow) and 2 depth. If any thing the team is higher on Cole than any one here, they’ve been grooming him a long time and given him prep and development time at sam and S to fill out depth. Cole got most of his D snaps pre injury this year which wasn’t a lot. Which is probably why you haven’t noticed him. But you not noticing him doesn’t really make him over rated on here. Cole and ayers are the two most talented and athletic lbers we have. Ayers passed Cole during his injury but both are big parts of our future. like I said, if ba can again only play teams it makes no sense to keep him over Cole. Honestly, I’d sit keric start 6 ol with Wallace and bring Cole on. Haba is easily debatable with how many reps the Canadians will get, Taylor is as well. Though I like having Taylor’s big game experience and leadership on. I’d probably take ba off, put Cole on take weitz off put Hubert on.

Yeah. And if ba can only play teams it makes no sense to keep him off when he can back up and sub for sam, wil, nickle, and S while being better on teams. We gotta bring him back in the off season. Some one might be keen to snipe him in free agency.

I think this is very much our path to victory. The big advantage for Toronto last time was their Dl vs our ol. Run 6 ol with Wallace on a lot more and give zach time to pick apart this secondary. Funny thing is, I’d sub out keric mostly too

Is mci nicked? not getting Cole on is the biggest risk imo. Samson on is real interesting as well as carrying 3 ni dts in general. weitz isn’t ready for the ar. It’s not awful but it is odd.
