  1. That might be why white was cut. Zach back means artopoius goes to the PR. I like wallace and I want to see him develop. But man sucks to take vanterpool out. Id rather flip kyrie/wil or throw cobb in for sterns. You're right that they might still change their fortunes. But to date, they haven't done what was expected. Considering the money we gave the 3 guys, as vets who have succeeded in this league, being at best replacement level with rookie wrs is deeply underperforming. Id really like to see mitchell step up, and I like sterns effort also his play in the sweep. But neither guy is starter level at this point. They are just thrust into that position because none of them have stepped up.
  2. Could be. I don’t think he got robbed at that spot, and idk if any one else is knocking on his door. But guys some times make strange calls about being on a pr. I don’t think Kase had the potential to be a kr in the cfl. He’s too hesitant with contact and wants to go side ways or backwards to much. That twitchy style could be valuable as a catch n run guy, but he’s soo far behind at wr I don’t see him making it as a wr either. If white wanted to stay or not I’d dump Kase and bring in some other bodies. Plus Logan is on 1 game. When he’s healthy I think we are deep at kr. Our pr though is pretty good for once. I’d look at a k/p for insurance/development, and I think you can always look at ol/pass rushers. Or decent Canadians.
  3. Dodged a bullet! lol. The trews were so good. I wish we'd go with some good canadian guitar drive rock, even if it isn't a huge draw. But that's personal preference. I still think some RnB, hiphop or rap would be the best draw.
  4. I'm a bit surprised white is gone, I thought they liked him a lot in camp. with the 3 guys vying for 1 spot, plus kase, it makes sense to get rid of 1 guy. Though if Benson goes to the IR and laroux comes onto the AR it isn't causation. Maybe they intend to keep laroux around now when benson is healthy though.
  5. I still wouldn’t give Lawler the money Hamilton did. While he’s performed well, and sterns/mitchell/white haven’t worked out, wheatfall/schoen/demski is a very good core. If any thing, I’d a still tried to spend that money on ol/dl. Lawlers character faults aren’t toxic or horrible. But they are a lot for price, and not going away. We are already spending too much on the wr core. And we need youth. Also, schoen vs lawler, I take schoen every day of the week. Even dollar for dollar.
  6. Pretty sure he’s a strawman. I think we can all abide this.
  7. Same. They are trying so hard to hype mid tier guys into some thing they aren’t. Every thing in Hamilton has been downward since we crushed them in 19. Hammy needs to clean house and let Ted do a full proper build.
  8. I’d normally agree. However, his complete screwing up of his time here, and mediocre production over all for elite money, I do blame him for not making good here. We sat through that dui and his in too much of a child to take care of my passport crap. While paying him stupid money. His inability to stay healthy was a big part of leaving our wr core gutted. In the end, if you have no loyalty or accountability you deserve none. If it had just been injuries I wouldn’t blame him. But he screwed up more than once in a big way and it cost us. Chasing bank after that makes him a grease ball.
  9. Yuuupp. Never thought he was more than this. The fact we lost to him in the gc is infuriating.
  10. I barely went last year. Was just a waste of time. This year was a great camp. In general they are a far cry from what they used to be, but this camp was about as good as it gets these days. I love Halletts effort, at this point he’s a last Canadian on the roster type. Only a teams guy, a good one still but no upside left and no role to fill on D. It makes sense to have him on while makonzo and Kelly recover. Especially since we are carrying Shay/smith, and 2 imp db back ups. If haggerty was healthy I’d put him on over Hallett though. Idk if he’s legit injured or not though. Ball even has upside I might give him a look over Hallett eventually. Not much of a S these days. Barely still a teams guy.
  11. some pretty interesting bits out of this. Just in the first minute or so kola talks about the camp difference from last year.
  12. Riders starting aj this week and using a di on Carey. Some one was asking the last time a none kr rb was a di
  13. Yeah. I don’t think Logan’s gonna be in any time soon. Even when he’s healthy he will need to get in game shape atleast.
  14. Wade is 10x more passionate/competitive about football and the bombers than he is about business. And he is driven in business.
  15. They way Wade miller is, no chance a meeting didn’t happen about the piss poor start last year. What would’ve been involved one can only guess. He isn’t a make threats kinda guy, he would for sure talk about under achieving. And we see a stark change in camp this year. Hasn’t been one like this since maybe first or second mos year. That type of thing is normal with in sports at upper management levels too. And in business. &nbsp
  16. Great job by hogan very optimistic about him.
  17. Very real possibility. I could see some rebalancing of power in the mafia having happened since last years start. And if that’s given us what we have now, great keep it goin. 100%. After they took ringmaiden I think we are even. I love Ted too, and hope he whips cancer and has lots of success in Hamilton. I think the front office change was needed too. Suddenly we have a ton of young blood in front of this franchise, and fresh impartial eyes.
  18. Yeah we need stability on the ol at all costs right now. Last place I’m making changes unless forced. He danced around a lil on what actually changed, but im just glad he did what it took finally. We just have to keep it going in the weekly prep too.
  19. They always have an excuse just like the first two months of last year. Honestly most people are in the same boat these days. It’s a couple that are still in the this is fine room with roster management. Luckily, the coaching changes and last batch of vet discards has brought a lot of improvement. We are younger and more athletic than we’ve been in years. The depth is pretty impressive too. I’m sure the roster will improve with a couple more games, and hopefully see another old head go this year still.
  20. I’d be open to trying vaval at bridges spot too. Get back a di too. I’m sure Parker will get more time to get back up to pace. But I haven’t been impressed. To really go Canadian at S, we’d need a back up Canadian too. We don’t have one able to play in the secondary with both makonzo and Kelly hurt. That said, we could flip wil taking kyrie off much easier. Sadly, if we need to flip ratio, I bet we start two Canadian dts and di adams. Which would be criminal.
  21. I don’t mean the actual stadium. I mean the pressure he was under here and the whole no one could kick any damn ball back then for us. Kickers are really strange animals. Once they get the yips it’s hard to break. Medlock was lowkey famous in the nfl for being a kicker like that. Up here one of the best to ever do it.
  22. Yeah maybe collar bone, rotator cuff, or some thing even more outlier.
  23. The continued evaluation is concerning.
  24. If Brady can’t go, Cooley comes on. Peterson has to show he can repeat what he did, and mci is far away from being able to carry reliably. Hope Brady is good to go, but his injury was strange. I am concerned he will miss a bit.
  25. You’re right. I hated running legs out. Maybe he needed the change of scenery though.
