Who would you rather replace, Dalton or Brady? Who is easier to replace? We’ve got a lot of holes on D, mean while we have a ton of money in our top 5 on off. No one wanted to lose Brady or dalton. But even more so no one wants to see us in a position where we keep getting worse on the field and have less and less room to improve the situation. We will see in the next couple weeks how that all shakes down. It doesn’t require insider information to talk about the market for RBs. And other teams offers aren’t really important. If he turned down more cash that’s cool for him staying but doesn’t change any thing. If we offered a ton more than any one else that sucks but he likely wasn’t signing off a lot less.

I don’t put much stock in any thing farhan says. Seems higher than I’d expect. Will wait and see the hard/soft numbers eventually. I hope with Brady back that we commit to splitting Carries and use him wisely. Use a di change of pace back for 7/8 touches a game and don’t have 90% of our runs in the first 6 minutes and last 10.

Riders get jameer Thurman, for 40k ish more than he made last year lol. Must be the mace effect -
Yeah too long. I’d love it if we also look at a beefy imp power back or two. Run rb by committee would guy or two who can return and pass catch and a guy who can punish defences block etc. grant is such a beast. I’ve always wanted to see the bench be a body weight bench for each guy as well. Be damn hard to find a 300lbs lineman who is as proportionally strong. That’d be like a 380+ bench reppped 22 times for one of our ol.

To put that into perspective, tyreek hill had a 4.06 ss, all time nfl best ss times range from high 3.7x to mid 3.8x. That’s like running a sub 4.2 40. His 3 cone is elite all his numbers in that pro day are exceptional. 10’3 broad, 37 vert 15 reps is really impressive at his size. It’s rare to find football players with that kind of speed/quickness and that kind of pound for pound strength. 15 reps of 225 for a guy whose 190 is fantastic. That’s as good as a dl putting up high 30s imo

Watch as both tear up camp and get cut for gmc LOL. I really want to see a dangerous imp rb get a decent number of Carries for us on a regular basis. I’m ok if we lose one or even both tbh. As long as we use that money to add on D. If we lose both and just use that money to give raises to old guys I’m going to lose my mind.

I would’ve died of hilarity. Right? Low key dbs in the cfl get rb treatment. -
Looks like a well rounded dynamic threat. Running, catching, returning. Pro day had some great numbers including a 4.4 40, 10’ broad jump 37” vert 15 reps. Great quickness and agility numbers too. Stood 5’8 195. I love the north south running. All he needs is an angle and he isn’t trying to Keith stokes it. Hits the hole really fast. Very smooth acceleration with a nice top gear. Flashes some good hands, and I love the physicality too. Very grant Esq is being small but deceptively strong. Don’t expect a guy like that to bounce off people or push the pile but he takes people by surprise. I love this as a returner, back or gmc multi threat guy. Great camp prospect. Real blue chip prospect as a rb and kr. Bet he was on our nl for a while.

Not much difference these days either way. He’d struggle as much in pass pro at either. Blind side isn’t what it used to be. -
Imo gray should be a rt. That said, idk if he’s ready for that switch. He struggled at times in pass pro at guard last year. Between he and Richmond we should have a good battle. Let the best guy start. Richmond instantly makes us better in pass pro but arguably worse in run pro. Bryant Neufeld Eli Dobson gray/richmond is the best case scenario. And that is an improvement over last years line. Shouldn’t need a lot of time to gel. I’d agree I’d it was yoshi circa 2 years ago.

Good for him. Hope we shore up our duties this year. Either let Castillo do it all or get some one who can actually punt and kick off. Good for him. I love yoshi, I’m very grateful for every thing he’s done here and I cheer for him as a person. I’m also very very happy he won’t start for us at T any more. He can’t handle speed any more. I bet the riders flip him to guard before the ldc.
