Imop it is not normally likely for those charges to be brought. I think what’s unique about the riders is the volume of creeps they’ve had. Even over 10 and 15 years to Trevis smith. Stack them up over that time and compare it to the rest of the league. Athletes especially in football frequently come from bad situations, and are prone to having varied legal issues. Every one has a guy now and then. And some of them are really awful. When it happens on a regular basis with one team though it’s different. In the case of Harris and lawler, we broke the news and acted quickly as an organization. Which never seems to be the approach from the riders. Even when their guy refuses a piss test, accosts the tester and runs away. Kelly’s ass was grass as soon as it happened too, though we were looking for an excuse to can that turd imo.

Awe was max fined what 5 times last year? And atleast twice not fined but commented on by the league? The league finally gets rid of guys like Lawrence bad Marino only to have new guys fill the same role. How do you fine a guy that many times and not suspend for repeat offence

Yeah oday has to go one day. The list of stuff is soo long even if Marshall isn’t worse I have no doubt you could find some thing worse in that era. What a dumpster fire that all was. Tbh under the previous regimes it’s not out of line. The riders tried to sign that lber who got cut from the nfl for a horrid domestic violence under **** n oday and the cfl barred the contract and him from signing more. 100%. A lot of industries are male dominated high testosterone etc. manufacturing, especially welding and fabrication. Mining, oil rigs etc. sexual harassment and worse are never a risk associated with work. That’s just an awful and dangerous standard. Yeah, really pathetic and disappointing. I’d take him too lol. Like this pick up a lot though. A ton of high level experience with tons of versatility. With the athleticism to play te and the physicality to play guard and start at both for bama no less. Says a lot about him not transferring to start else where and try to get reps for a better nfl look. Not hard to see his fit here. Be fun to see him in camp. Also be interesting to see if he’s a project or more pro ready. Yeah. Soo sad, hope they get every thing they need. He’s got an incredibly bright career still as a coach too. The simple fact is, while Winnipeg has poverty and crime problems, more than some Canadian cities, it’s nothing compared to major us cities. The gun and cultural violence/aggressiveness is a whole other thing than here. I mean, we aren’t even talking kc as a bad place, and look at what happened during their Super Bowl party. Any one who thinks we got it bad, go to chiraq, or any of those other cities. Forget even just Winnipeg size cities in the dirty south that aren’t capitols. Those places will sober you to reality real fast. Most of those places have areas that are violen dangerous slums by violent dangerous third world country standards. Serious Johannesburg scary bad stuff. Major hell yes to lake time. Especially in the summer but I’ve found it nice even in winter lately. tbh polo is more dangerous than the forks these days. The forks has tons of private security now and regular patrols.
