This week of the game thread is the most random thread of the year, middle of the off season form. Keys to the game this week gotta put our foot on tyries neck, tackle him well and limit offensive mistakes.

If I was gonna rank the QBs I’d say zach Vaj Kelly Harris the rest. And no one has been consistently elite this year.

The state of qbing in the cfl is awful right now. Probably the worst I’ve seen since before khari/ac.

Isn’t it to the team that starts or has the most ni reps or some thing? I expect late in the season we will see significant padding from teams with no reason left to win. I don’t think he will get hurt or drop the rock. And I’m hopefully he will be solid catching punts. Can’t ask much more than that from a guy with soo few reps.

I’m more worried about his hands and decision making returning punts. Lots of small guys have done it in the past. May not hold up for years but he will be fine health wise in the short term. Don’t forget too he’s a rb by trade. Much more durable.

Article says Agudosi will start but the roster has mccrae. I’m guessing dosi starts while mccrae returns and subs in for some plays.

I see at best a none guaranteed camp invite, a clip board, and more coffee cups in his hands than footballs. Then cut before preseason for no money. seriously though I might eat my hat if he got into an nfl camp. Guys that age don’t make the jump especially off mediocre usfl seasons.

100%. Eli at 100% is one of the best in the league and kola is an over achieving replacement level guy. He could probably be a step up at guard for a team or two but he should really be a back up to the 6th man.

Probably. Though neuf was pretty off last week and a couple times this year. Might have an injury and seeing how it’ll respond to some rest.

Idk that’s going back 10 years. Jsk has one big year and jumped. Wilson 1.5 years of border like all star level play. Bass a huge rookie year then a let down year two that was still pretty solid. Not a lot of consistency. We’ve churned out dts and dbs like mad. Lbers and ends we’ve struggled with imo.

Pretty much. Since the pats and don mathews als got busted stealing signals it’s been much tighter. The Argos beat us with excellent film study game planning and execution. The Leo’s I think had help from couture, though that by no means discredits their performance or excuses ours. It’s the same thing really. I don’t think the RBs are in a position to exploit film, insider info, or any thing else really. They are hands full prepping a rookie qb to start against a defence that is very tough on QBs. Imo it’s more about when to be loud. If a team isn’t prepared for the silent snap count and to audible by signals they pooped the bed already. Being loud when the qb is trying to relay the play is much more advantageous. We’ve tracked procedure calls but no one talks about it WRs and QBs being confused and not on the same page.

100% cfl offences are extremely stagnant and have been for a while. The biggest difference you see is what routes teams target in those concepts and some teams/QBs are better at taking what’s available. The collaros to lawler 20 yard out is a good example of that. plop certainly came from that time and era but doesn’t have direct lineage connecting to shanahan, which shows. His playbook is stuck in 90s mode too lol. He used to lean heavily on the mike leach air raid screen pass package too. Especially in the cfl. You just can’t stop offence any more. You slow it down and try to contain it as best as you can.

We have a great wealth of guys on here who bring tremendous content in all kinds of forms. And the community only seems to grow here. Its amazing what Zach has built in such a short time with the podcast especially.

3 tackles a blocked kick a forced fumble and nearly blocked two more. He also made plays that set up tackles a couple more times. Dudes a beast on teams. Kelly wasn’t rushing the punter racking up tackles either.
