Lbers have the lowest impact of any position player in the cfl, but tjones has been awful in coverage. Woodbey isn’t playing lber. No one said they wanted more lbers on the roster. Just the right ones. I mean things can get whacky when you just make up strawman arguments. tackles are not a success indicator for a lber or db. Awe stacks up tons of tackles and very few stop. very much so, but slow joe was better early on.

I don’t even think that’s wheatfall is streaky, he’s off way too frequently for that. he’s a guy who the lights come on for occasionally and the rest of the time is bleh at best. The guy had one big game last year, largely on one big catch, another good game on one big catch, and this year one big game and one good game based on one big catch. Wynton mcmanis lol, and when he was healthy he stole half his reps. Their other lber was pickett, aka the two best lbers in the cfl in the last 5+ years. and Jjones took reps and starts from them. Woodbey isn’t being used like jones and didn’t pass him on the depth chart. woodbey is being used as a db. He could be used as a wil like that but isn’t. Does any one think that Tony jones or kyrie would steal reps/starts from mcmannis or pickett on any other team in the league?

I believe we brought in some talent, but just wasted it. wtf do you even bring in Jjones when you have tjones/kyrie and won’t play him if either stays healthy? We have ayers and the canadians too. Even Woodbey, who could play wil mac or all the db spots. More teams are going towards canadian lbers and tweeners at lbers and it’s becoming a less and less critical position. That said, I think Woodbey is exactly what teams should be looking for at one of the two lber spots especially at mac. Just like how biggie gave our Ds soo much versatility being able to pick guys up and carry deep. He’d be great at sam, or as a full time Wil. If, we don’t waste him.

1 zach. had to be, he did every thing and looked like the old mop for the first time in ages. 2 brady, 150 combined yards monster day grinding out good yards on each touch. 3 Houston. he ate lawlers lunch today. hh vaval with a huge kr td in the opening kick off. we held the lead for every snap of the game.
