  1. Getting torched they leave him probably. Other wise Kramdi to Sam and Darby to that spot.
  2. They are basically just using it like a di. Unless they intend to rotate grant in a package which I doubt. Sad but not surprising.
  3. Laughs in Schmekel and clements. In Houston’s first stint on the active roster he struggled too. Went back to the pr came back last year and was drastically better. Usually dbs translate fast to the cfl. But not always.
  4. Many things can be said of va. Head on straight isn’t one of them. agree. And despite how great mos has been if we have to choose between walters and mos, I’d keep walters.
  5. I think that’s clements this year.
  6. Or more recently when any contact down field on a wr was pi. From the sounds of it mos doesn’t have a lot planned for it yet. Though maybe it’s just him being tricky. Dl/db/wr will make the most sense for any team imo.
  7. I think blm is toast. fajardo might do a bit better in the soft east division but still not great. I think Dane will take over in bc but falter in the end same as always. I think our D will play well. Secondary should be really good. Darby looks as good as ever. I expect to see some blm on the turf and getting mad on the sideline.
  8. It’s going to be interesting to see how the qbs in new cities do.
  9. He won’t stick up here that long. Nfl bound for sure. This team always has to have a holm. This forum would be way too boring other wise.
  10. This is a great point. Wally hasn’t been a great x and o guy. I wouldn’t even say he was a great developer. He recognized ast coaches who covered for his short comings extremely well and developed fantastic culture. More than any thing he knew character and what was needed. Which goes hand in hand with being a contract clean up guy after franchises bottom out. I can only imagine how good edm would be if they had listened to him about a hc.
  11. A lot of teams that stop being terrible fail to recognize the difference between a great winning culture and great guys to hang out with. I guarantee the practices and locker room on Jordan’s bulls was not easy going. Greatness comes at a steep price. One that can only be paid when all the players buy in to the team being more important than any individual. Most teams that go from bad to in the play offs never take the next step to contention because they won’t or don’t even know the price of admission. We built around guys like randle and Bryant, who came in with that knowledge. They lead by example and taught the guys we had. If a guy played well but didn’t buy in they were gone. We built around culture and work ethic. Not a star player or athletes or a strategic concept.
  12. Regular season let’s goooooooo! Time to go 1-0 each week again.
  13. Pro football is not the soap box to stand on for looking down upon criminal records. We all know that it’s an escape for people in the hardiest circumstances in North America. most every immigration problem in the cfl and in the country as a whole, is a criminal issue.
  14. Mos has a tendency to fall in love with underachieving athletes who aren’t pro players and over achieving guys who aren’t pro athletes.
  15. I think haba has a great chance of being on the roster too. He could be a real gem. I’d be really happy if we had no imp wil dressed and both imp back up dl.
  16. Both no. But one for sure. I hope it’s Thomas but I feel like coles gonna end up on the roster awhile.
  17. If Lawson misses hopefully they activate Thomas. I feel like cole will end up drawing in as well.
  18. According to farhan lionsguy they have great culture lool That’s exciting I can’t wait to see. Right after I picked ott in the pool rip
  19. Not only that but at positions like DL it’s advantageous to rotate more and go harder in fewer reps. I think think the expectations of wrs away from the ball is why talented productive guys in camp don’t make the team. No jogging and running dbs off when the ball goes to some one else. Gotta block as hard as you run with the ball.
  20. I get what you’re saying, but Kongbo has earned the benefit of the doubt. Bc has not. Kongbo also rotated his whole time here. It also falls on the team pitching the fa. I have no doubt if kongbo thought he was going to start it’d be because they pitched him on it. Though I assumed on his signing with them that it’d be a rotation of 3 ni ends. But then also it makes the most sense for kongbo to play the most time of the 3. He’s drastically better vs the run and getting in on the hcf screen areas than the other two.
  21. He will come in angry and motivated af now. I expect him to play like his hair is on fire the first few weeks back.
  22. For me it’s good enough to know kongbo was a fifo guy and beloved by the coaching staff in Denver, and that bc has shown signs of toxic crap. Kongbo was also considered to be a very high character guy back to his days with the vols.
  23. Yep. Bc said kongbo was a locker room problem and traded him to hammy for a mid draft pick. Kongbo said on twitter it was because he called out lions stars for not showing up to practice meetings work outs etc.
  24. It would be less complicated to do a single swap than a double sub. Yeah lots of versatility. If only we still had ford too.
