  1. Idk. I think it’s smart marketing. That youngish 90s kid has money and is half the prime target demographic.
  2. 100%. Grounds to sue his agent if he does. think so yeah. Probably includes community service or some thing. Shouldn’t be hard at all to get him approved to work in the mean time. I’ve seen some pretty awful records allowed a pass so guys can work.
  3. The big thing with Darvin is he could be a nationalized di for half the reps. That means we could start bolo and sub adams with the nis as the back up and start an imp rb if Brady isn’t good to go. No clue. But basically every face involved has changed since then. And I’m sure he’s changed a lot too. I expect they are hoping for one of the rookies to step up if that fails then they will look at vets but likely only if one of ours aren’t 100%. Id prefer Mccalister.
  4. Says a lot though that brand new owners in mtl and a guy starting his second campaign as owner in bc will combine for 3 large concerts for their game day experience while the mighty mlse does jack $&@!
  5. Imagine if he gets nicked up and can’t finish oh boy. im looking for a big game from Thomas and wade.
  6. You’re right. Though they didn’t get much of an opportunity so far. Hopefully that changes soon. If not, imp rb is an easy position to recruit.
  7. I mean if you are running bunch packages and moving the pocket and disguising the wr who blocks he’s very well inclined. But our offense isn’t set up like that and it’s much better off with a rb. It’s a huge health risk that just isn’t worth while. We’d be much better off dipping the ratio starting an imp rb and bringing Brady’s touches up slowly.
  8. Hope things sort out quick enough with lawler. Sure is puzzling I’m sure news will break this week with details. In the mean time it’s a big chance for agudosi.
  9. Man Bryant and McAllister would be awesome. I’m not getting my hopes up for Bryant. But I could see mcallister get picked up.
  10. You’re right about the punters, the intrigue and that what the rookies have done kicking and punting could be a game changer. That said I think the old boys club will keep one or both around even if not on the active roster.
  11. I feel like the tc fight days are pretty much over. With out tackling/hitting you just get some pushing shoving and raised voices.
  12. That’s fantastic. Wonder if he plays pre season.
  13. If grant wanted it known why we would know. We hear about deaths births and all kinds of stuff. Doesn’t matter why to me, he deserves his privacy. I’m just happy as hell he is back.
  14. Watching the clips he seems to have good burst but I don’t think he has the range for mlber. His best skill looks like pass rushing as well. He would be great for cheetah sets. I mean about 10lbs more and he’s in Casey sayles weight range. id love to see a half for each with piggyT
  15. If Lumsden played us 3 games a year he would’ve had 1200 yards rushing a season minimum. Man he always killed us.
  16. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/hunts-small-college-starting-11-defensive-prospects-to-know-at-every-position-ahead-of-2023-nfl-draft/amp/ 16 games over two seasons at A n M commerce. 39 tackles 13 tfl 8.5 sacks 1 pick 6 2 pass kd 2 ff 1 fr. sounds like a pretty polished pass rusher. Don’t see much for testing numbers. Was a juco transfer. Yeah. He was a beast 1 on 1. Even in camp here. He man handled every one in both sides of the ball. You can say polish for sure, maybe desire who knows. But he had oodles of talent and potential.
  17. And intzandt. Iirc we converted both to ol. Butcher had soo much going for him makes you wonder what he was missing.
  18. He got bit bad by the injury bug. another deep cut , Joshua bostick. Big smooth wr who looked great in camp but couldn’t crack Ritchie’s old boys club. Neil mckinlay at lber too. Looked like he was going to be a ratio breaker at one point. Think he kicked around mb as a personal trainer for a bit.
  19. I was a big believer in him too.
  20. Woli is more of a blocker than any thing. His spot is as secure as any one. Bolo isn’t taking that spot.
  21. You don’t want or limit biggie for sure. But 49% is probably all you really want wj in for any way. Signing lemon or some one and then using wj as a ndi would be great. With our depth at wr I wouldn’t mind a ndi on Bailey as well. That’d give a ton of versatility to get an imp rb and another imp wr at times on the field. agree 100% with booch too. I think jake takes a step back and maybe plays more of his snaps late game while Lawson plays more. Snake probably still rosters as the starter but in essence I think it’s going to be more Lawsons spot this year. He was really sneaky good last year. Very excited for him this year. pigrome is definitely more dynamic a runner than strevy. Much quicker and more explosive. would love to get ford back if it doesn’t work out for him down south. That kids got starter material written all over him. I think he and Kramdi could’ve easily platooned a spot this year. Man db is crazy deep though. I have an idea who I would go with but I have no idea what to expect the mafia to pick. I do not envy the guys who are tracking the ratio and subs. its 3 years with a team or 5 in the league right? Kind of surprising that lemon is still in picked.
  22. Also re snaps with Dobson, Texas state ran multi back forms mostly under centre. Think he played two games at c with them, but likely hasn’t snapped to the shot gun a lot at any level. That said the snap to pistol/gun is some thing any one who isn’t a primary centre struggles with. But it is very teachable. And Costello is a great ol coach.
  23. Over all think the first pre season game was what we needed. I think it’s a great call to get the vets lots of early action and give them most of the second game off so they can be healthy. The biggest obstacles to the bombers being good early are going to be health and rust. Work too much of the rust off and you put health at risk. It’s a tough spot with low contact practice these days. Early weeks of the regular season are gonna be lower quality if they stick to no tackle practice. If Jeffcoat is healthy Thomas starting as our nose with walker rotating will improve a lot of our pass rush and run stop. Having biggie back will be huge too. Barrington is going to be a pretty big upgrade over Clements though not kyrie atleast yet. Lots of good dbs, some good players are gonna be cut. Wr core is super deep too. Nice to have a new back up ni to bolo. richmond looks as good as ever at T for depth. Dobson needs a lot of work at C still with snaps but if Eli gets healthy it isn’t a big issue. And we identified a new short yardage option qb. We even found great depth at kicker and punter. look forward to seeing round 2 of the db and wr battle next week, and more from pigrome.
