Over all think the first pre season game was what we needed. I think it’s a great call to get the vets lots of early action and give them most of the second game off so they can be healthy. The biggest obstacles to the bombers being good early are going to be health and rust. Work too much of the rust off and you put health at risk. It’s a tough spot with low contact practice these days. Early weeks of the regular season are gonna be lower quality if they stick to no tackle practice. If Jeffcoat is healthy Thomas starting as our nose with walker rotating will improve a lot of our pass rush and run stop. Having biggie back will be huge too. Barrington is going to be a pretty big upgrade over Clements though not kyrie atleast yet. Lots of good dbs, some good players are gonna be cut. Wr core is super deep too. Nice to have a new back up ni to bolo. richmond looks as good as ever at T for depth. Dobson needs a lot of work at C still with snaps but if Eli gets healthy it isn’t a big issue. And we identified a new short yardage option qb. We even found great depth at kicker and punter. look forward to seeing round 2 of the db and wr battle next week, and more from pigrome.

I hope Eli i a healthy and can slide in too. I’d love to see what an ol with Eli at c, Dobson at guard, gray at one tackle spot and Richmond at another could do. Though I doubt gray will take more reps next week. It’d be great to see pigs and brown each get a half. Maybe switching off at the quarter so each gets one with team 2 and team 3+. I think they combined for like 4 touches but yeah both saw a bit of action. Barnes got bulldozed in the back field twice. Once by like 5 elk.

1 pigrome looks like we have our short yardage / option package qb and with some up side as a passer 2 Darby. Made lots of plays looks as good as ever 3 Thomas the nose tackle we’ve missed since stove left finished really strong hh lawler with the big td catch early when the first team offense was in a funk couple other guys had real good games, couple looked like they played them self off the team.

Bad tackling makes for bad football. No matter who you cheer for.

I really like Lawrence and how he played last year but right now it looks like we go young at db. Rose is leader who wants to be here I think they’ll keep him one way or another but he might be our 7th best db.

Taits point about tackling in practice is solid. But it’s only more reason to push hawk tackling imo.

He’s a shoe in. Our only back up ni wr for 2 starters. I think it’ll be mcg on the outs not agudosi. I also think Augustine is going to need a much better performance next week. Other wise we are gonna really need to sift through cuts for a better back up ni rb.

Hard to make plays in the back field or at the line when the dl is being handled.

In theory it could happen. Staton would be cheaper that’s for sure. But likely they’d carry him on the pr and give Castillo some games.

For me holm Darby lawler and wade all looked good.
