Thanks for that. Hopefully some guys are just easing in and being preventative with injury. How has Bennett looked? Any of the back up pass rushers looking good? How has Eli looked shape wise? Is he getting full second team reps or sitting more?

It’s standard sports reporting or basic investigative journalism. Don’t know find people who do ask questions don’t get answers seek new people to ask. we used to get it in the freep every day. It’s not some thing new or unheard of. It’s what you would expect in any pro sports teams coverage.

Thought the same thing about rb when we brought in another imp today with out cutting one and because normally the imp rbs just do their thing in camp. We don’t normally move through them this much. I don’t think Brady has practiced at al yet, with Augustine back it makes me think it’s Brady which would be awful. I have trouble seeing us flip the ratio at rb easily. Unless biggie is gonna be out too and we are going ni at Mac. Which is a concern as well. this is in part the nature of training camp when your core players are all over 30.

Since the classic spread offense teams have become nfl hot beds teams have to try and find un tapped sources of talent. It seems like we are looking at the physical outliers from low levels of competition. Hoping to be able to refine them into pro players. When it’s between guys who barely played in college and guys who played at the lowest levels of us college it’s kind of a toss up.

Every D he played came with their best game when they played him. I don’t buy the 5k a year claim.

Imo it does. When guys get that slowing down of the game they generally take a big step forward. It’s when they rush that they get in trouble

Lawrence had 1 k in a season and Ricky had 500 and change in half a season. Lawrence also played on an extremely good team while the argos weren’t.

He is good. Big difference between 1300 and 2k. Especially with their qbing. He’s got no shot at 2k. That said he will probably have a good year. Don’t think it’s a crazy ego thing.

I enjoyed watching Ricky get handled up here then go back down and have some very good years in the nfl, but all I remember of him was being very respectful and positive towards the cfl. Both before and after. Talking trash like that about how much production he’d put up isn’t very Ricky Williams.

I’ll take the scrappy under sized over achiever vs the maybe wants it doesn’t need it over sized under achiever any day and twice on game day. Sums it up perfectly. Reminds me of collaros last year talking about being a freshmen in college and evading the rush running around and making throws. Only for his coach to tell him to knock it off because he isn’t that athletic.

Gotta hope they are just keeping wear and tear or getting a good look at the new guys.

I always have a bit of hesitance for guys like heavy balls. Heavy tall athletic with a big arm he’s got a lot of raw high value tools. Upside is sky high no doubt. But it won’t take much fulfilling of that to end up backing up in the nfl long term. And it’s hard to see guys like that also having the tangibles needed to become a star. If they had it they would’ve already stepped up.

Man it’s gonna be unfair to have schoen and lawler on the same side. A lot of them production was made by the guy playing out side of milt back in the day. Teams are gonna be blanketing extra coverage over that side so much woli might not see any one out side of blocking guys lol. We’ve brought in like 3 guys one at a time already I’m sure they are committed to having a nose this year. For the rotational edge I think Bennett will get all the opportunity in the pre season to take that spot. If he can make a go of it situationally when hansen gets healthy we will have it made. If not a di there is gonna be key.

Camp is tough on the legs. We likely won’t know how knicked up any vets are till the first pre season game. Other than guys on the 6 game that is.

They have bereavement lists etc as well though. Not sure we will ever get an answer other than him playing.

First and foremost if the reporting was present they would know if he is in town, and if he was in town and left. That alone tells a lot vs if he never arrived. Other wise, they call his agent or him. It’s easy to a none citable tidbit that gleans wether he is being roster hidden or if an issue exists. In other words, investigative journalism. Their job isn’t to regurgitate what ever they are told and nothing more. I get it from mos perspective. They don’t need to worry about our fan bases engagement. We show up money in hand and support. It’s not his job or concern to inform us. It’s his job to maintain a high level of quality on the team. It’s the media that’s the issue. Half is directly owned by the bombers and do no work out side of fluff pieces. The other half is indirectly owned by the bombers and do nothing out side of fluff pieces.

They aren’t playing around with these guys. They can find nose tackles and Dts and know it. They identify fits very well. 26 tackles 6 tfl 3.5 sacks and 5 hurries in 11 games is really good. Another under 6’ and 300 lbs college nose tackle. Explosive quickness and strength. I’m sure the one they go with will be a gem for us.

Pretty much. He’s still pretty young for an imp tackle. If he’s recovered then they probably hide him and he only draws in if yoshi/hardrick get hurt.
