  1. Agudosi played 2 games… wonder if it’s because he didn’t complete 2 games or if they meant 2 games.
  2. First over all pick and just a day or two ago the team 14th over all pick they traded for a lber retired at 23. I think this is going to be a big year for Dobson and Eli.
  3. It’s certainly going to be more balanced and not nearly as old as their core was in camp last year. More grey hair in the wr core last year than the coaching staff for tc. I don’t expect much from a mcadoo offense but it’ll be interesting to see if heavy balls can grow and improve. I could see him taking a big step forward this year. He was so good and smooth in limited action last year. Really excited to see what he can do. Being able to wait and develop guys like him is a tremendous luxury, not to mention having great guys for him to learn from. As the ratio quality goes so goes the team.
  4. This late I’d have to think so. short of some thing like losing the desire to play. The weight of pending camp is big, if you are jacked up to get on the field it can break you. Tc is as much about sorting out who really wants to play badly vs who is hoping for a pay day and avoiding a regular job.
  5. Not surprised he was a high touted guy. But iirc usfl also pays peanuts. I’m not crazy high on mcgough, he’s more the water mark for performance in the usfl for me. I’m hoping for Randall Cunninghams kid. I feel like big (cfl big) athletic running qbs aren’t hard to find. An awful lot of guys get stuck between rb/wr and qb from hs to small ncaa schools. he is effective at running, but he isn’t particularly quick fast or powerful. Oregon was the preeminent option, zone read, running qb school when he was there. 170 yards and 3.2 ypc. He had 1 good rushing year at Montana state and couldn’t even follow that up. Bryant the concerted wr from last year wasn’t much shorter and far more dynamic and a college qb with more production. I kind of get wanting to have a running threat at short yardage and I love a running qb as qb3 maybe a holder etc too. Adds a lot of options and threat to various packages that can make a big difference in a game. I just think prukops running is replaceable.
  6. I don’t expect Prukop back here. He can do short yardage but you can easily find a big mobile qb rookie who can do that at any time. I don’t think he’s shown he can develop as a passer at all and while he can run he’s not at all dynamic at it. Alex mcgough I believe is still on our nl about as mobile and doing much better in the usfl.
  7. Can never know now, but he certainly did perform well in the biggest games here. Who knows what that salary and roster spot would’ve cost us though.
  8. With a us passport. Even by cfl standards that’s an odd duck. I feel like they saw some thing in him in person. Isn’t going to be any drama on this team. sr will get a couple more questions from the media that he will just shrug grin and be vague about. I have no doubt that the room will take care of rookies intro to fifo no matter their status. Any one who doesn’t fi will fo. Doesn’t matter if it’s a guy like lawler, Castillo, a blue chip ncaa/nfl guy, a high first round pick or a camp invite. Doubting the character of the room and the mafia at this point is ridiculous.
  9. Pretty good changes. I’d like to see tweaks to challenges, including a clear process guide so it isn’t such a damn crap shoot as to what they call and if they get it right or not. I’d also like to see tweaks to rtp. Make the tiers more clear like roughing the kicker and less punitive for incidental contact. An arm hitting the shoulder pads or hand hitting the top of the helmet isn’t the same as a shoulder pad hitting the head. It’d be hard but a rule to limit a qbs follow through from hitting a helmet would be a big injury preventing change. Maybe just have to make an effort to get your head off line. But yeah tough. I cringe hard every time I see that happen and it seems to have several times a year.
  10. Pygrome looks interesting. Gets caught up using a wind up on deep balls, but doesn’t seem like he lacks arm strength. Looks much better when he’s using touch and taking some thing off the ball. Pretty savoy at eluding pressure and throwing on the run. Not a crazy dual threat qb. More mobile and kg esq. He lists between 5’9 and 5’10 and looks pretty stocky at 200-205. Not a lot of experience or film on Jackson. Testing numbers aren’t crazy athletic but certainly athletic enough. Likely not refined at combine tests as well. A teams and high character guy. This smacks of a guy mac or another scout saw in practice / pro day and he was just beasting. Kind of a flyer and i like the big strong de with versatility for that kind of camp addition. cole looks really good. A monster kr guy who transitioned into a wr role. 35 yards kick off and 26 yards per punt return in his best years with 4 tds. then had a huge senior year as a wr. Also put up solid running numbers in college. Alleged 4.3 speed was disappointed in a high 4.4 pro day. But had a 10 yard split of 1.46 which is insane. 37.5” vert and monster 127” broad jump. He also covered kicks in college and the nfl some and is supposed to be a good tackler. Which is great to have. Put up 46 tackles on teams in college. Don’t often see under sized d2 guys go to the nfl and make a pr little on get in some games. This guy has some lofty potential.
  11. Or a guy is just going for his own stats like the sultan of sack his last few years/half his career.
  12. Yeah. It was high useage on a bad offense but he is still a solid 5th. Might not be willing to take the kind of money it’d require to keep playing though. Also a great locker room guy and leader. If he signed cheap enough I’d actually take him right now. He’d qualify as a naturalized ni for us and give us depth along side boo behind woli and demski.
  13. Just give ‘em the old darvin adams toss lol. Makes the sleeper plays twice a deadly.
  14. We should bring back darvin adams to be the short yardage qb. I’d look at guys like demski and Augustine see if they can take snaps from center and execute short yardage.
  15. And 6’3 220 and mobile. Both seem like camp arms tbh. Not that they don’t have arm talent or up side. Neither looks like a blue chip prospect. Under rated qbs tend to over achieve but if one of our nl qbs comes available I expect any of our 3 rookie imp qbs to be given an apple and a road map.
  16. https://www.semoball.com/story/2909875.html Jones is a 5 year starter which is rare though not against super high competition.
  17. That’s awesome and a couple more imp arms! Fantastic!
  18. and a 47 yarder is by no means automatic for any kicker. our d should’ve been able to stop the Kelly drive. Two big runs easy pass completions. The whole game was a big under performance from us in all aspects. We should’ve smashed the argos.
  19. I sure would love to see Jackson jeffcoat play a full season and put up monster sack numbers.
  20. I mean I’ll take what ever you want to give away lol
  21. on the defensive front he had a good game lol. On teams well least he’s got legs to take the fall for him.
  22. That’s the biggest part of it. Though our front 6 was key in the two wins and invisible in the loss. In 21 Biggie kyrie and Willy combined for 13 tackles and a pick. Jake added 4 tackles and a sack stove had 4 tackles and 2 sacks. Sayles and jeffcoat had good games the rest of our front 6 didn’t.
  23. Wanna bet? He’s going to punt and kick off while Sergio kicks fgs. Book it. About 0.0001% chance he’s cut. If Sergio gets hurt then legs will take over kicking. And they’ll likely go into next years camp the same way, contract depending.
  24. Some thing gordo mentioned in the tc thread that I missed entirely with the pick up of Castillo is we also signed barrington wade a lber that’s been on our nl for a good year I believe. https://www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2022/6/9/23147575/broncos-roster-barrington-wade https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/barrington-wade-player-profile-2022-outlook hes an insane athlete, plays much much stronger than his listed size. Hasn’t gotten a ton of reps from college or the nfl on D, but is a guy that if he picks up the game reasonably quickly could be a di for teams this year. His game really projects well to the cfl.
  25. That is an exceptional get. He’s an insane athlete for an nfl lber. He is freakishly strong and plays like he’s 260lbs. Hes definitely on the list of guys I’m excited to see. His experience on teams he could be a di for us out of the gate.
