That’d work. for me I’d do the following Hubert for Noah na lucky Murphy for weitz Adam’s for Habba Randolph id take off to use the di else where. either, smith, who would be primary returner and let lucky be the 2nd kick off guy and rotate with the WRs more, while giving rb depth and some sub package plays to rest Brady. Case, again primary returner lucky 2, wr depth then take off Murphy for samson. Cole if he’s ready to go. More athletic tweener guys who play well on teams and getting after ball carriers. And could be good to have rotate spying ford. Brandon wright, throw him out in some pure pass rush situations and let him learn fast. Same with dandy and hart. These guys probably don’t know the play book well, but put em on teams and tell them they’ll either play a way onto the team or off it. Running qb with mbt ready to go on the bench it’s like our kryptonite lol. This is the puckered butt game till seeding is finalized.

I just got mad thinking about 1 how bad that playing surface was, and 2 how they’d not let visiting teams on it til the last minute so it was always a mad rush to prep cleats. am I alone in never tuning out/ turning off? Seems like most every one I know will turn it off at some point. I’m just too masochistic to do it, it’s like touching a hot element and refusing to stop lol. -

Yep. When this all came out I figured they'd have it with CTV on all the streaming platforms like prime and such which would be huge. Instead, pure disappointment. If it's a 1 year deal its gonna be 1 and done for sure. -

Dustin was the sellers of the NHL. * One of the very few games blink missed, it sounded bad right after the game on the coaches show too. Old dave though roberts tore his meniscus. Ended up being turf toe IIRC. But man, sellers was like a dad playing his kids pop warner team. Soo fun to watch. It was especially glorious as they were trying to hype up Szarka into being sellers equal back then and it just wasn't close. -

I think it'd be good for edmonton to make the play offs. Give them a chance next year to really start rebuilding the fan base with new management. That said, I do not want to play them in the play offs. They are a real threat to beat us at bully ball imo. Another bad week for CTV viewership. It'll be interesting to see if it continues to be the lower than TSN. The way they have it pay walled for streaming, when you generally don't have to pay for CTV is really dumb. -
That would be a really good sign indeed. Man I wish I was that age with that kind of recovery time again lol.

Thats the truth. Brown is still a good back but not having to worry about the 1 2 punch is nice. Ford breaking runs though will still be a lot to fret about. Over all worried about how we will fair in the trenches. Thats good, did he move to a walking boot?
-
6 game. He's on crutches and while it isn't impossible that he'd be back at the end of the year, I highly doubt he will. That kid was every thing advertised and soo much more. I especially love that he's taking it on him self to hone his physique into some thing better for the cfl. I look forward to seeing what he brings to camp next year. With polish far exceeding what was expected, and a year with marty plus an offseason I would not be surprised if he steals a starting G spot next year.
-
I would not take off ayers because of his special teams contribution, or Griffin, he plays on D a lot in the dime pack and is extremely good. Imo griffin has been better than holm this year. Randolph I like at guard, but a DI 7th ol is just poor usage unless you are using him a lot, and we won't. Eli will be the one coming on in the regular offence heavy set, as well as having MCI and schmeckel.
-
Don't see the official roster sent to the league, but on that one they clearly indicate they aren't designating any one in that role. The teams and league all see the official roster, so they would only be fooling the fans, which doesn't make much sense. Mostly I agree with that. I think MCI + clercius starting is about as good as having woli in. I love woli, but Clercius has been as good as woli as a pass catcher. Not having the back up canadian wr hurts especially if we see an injury. If not, I don't think its a big loss. Imo, having wilson run the short yardage and not using the very poorly designed/executed strev package is a mild upgrade as well. We don't need 5 yards on 3rd and inches. If dolegala doesn't see the field and wilson doesn't throw we haven't lost any thing. Certainly a net positive. Unfortunately it still leaves us the most susceptible in the worst area. If you see habba, WJ, and thomas all on the field (either alone or plus 1) and edmonton runs, they are gonna get real good yardage. If we had Garbutt, adams, Woods, +/- Hubert on the field at the same time, Edmonton wouldn't stand a chance. Considering how little we would've had to give up just to get Hubert back on the roster, its disappointing. Like noah hallett. Weitz as the global is kinda meh too. karamoko gives us more on teams imo, but who knows maybe weitz can grow into some thing.
-
Also worth noting that we are with out a back up ni wr. So if clercius or demski goes down we have to fundamentally change all our packages. Of course this could also have been insured against if we just used lucky as a NA, then he'd be able to go in for them for half the snaps in the game.

https://www.instagram.com/tghcares/reel/C69RXWYIgGC/ Haven't seen any thing since this, which is probably good news. His go fund me succeeded in raising the money they were hoping for, plus a little more. -
We don’t rotate the ol. That will only happen if one gets hurt. I don’t like our chances giving zach deep ball time, unless we run heavy sets to do it. Even then, he’d have to be rolling at some point. 3 seconds into any pass play kola is facing the wrong way or face down on the ground. We are pretty evenly matched on the year in terms of sacks allowed and elk sacks generated. Both right in the middle. But we haven’t seen consistency much of the year in our ol line up. We’ve also got the fewest big plays on offence and edm is tied with us for fewest big plays surrendered. It’s very likely the whole game comes down to who runs the ball better.
-
Di for the 7th ol, vs just 6 dl including a couple none factors is disappointing. Adam’s off and only 6dl vs the elk is a huge risk. The door is open for them to bully ball us to death. Kyrie back and starting is interesting, I wonder where he’s at physically. He always seems to take a few weeks to get going. Bryant back is great, I’m sure he’s good to go. Idk about lucky. I feel like he’s playing too banged up guess we will see. glad wheatfall is finally back in

Agree. I wanna see him on the field on O some too.

With the restrictive front office cap, and the fact you can 6game/ public appearance pay guys out side of the player cap it would actually be extremely advantageous to have a guy like biggie as a “player” coach. -
I should’ve clarified it’d involve the same flip to ni lber rotating we normally use with biggie/kyrie. case is certainly a better option than holm or banged up lucky. Idk if Augustine can catch punts. extra size in the gaps is going to be key to beating Edmonton for sure. not in particular a fan of case and his sideline to sideline style, but if lucky is banged up it only makes sense to Stick in case who also gives much needed depth at wr. Wheatfall for Johnson and case for lucky makes a lot of sense. I would consider starting case and having him return to flip another di to D especially if wheatfall is rusty. Also worth mentioning is that Murphy certainly has to draw onto the roster though. Since woli is down and clercius starts, unless mci is ready for a high volume of reps if a ni wr goes down. Which having him block is be good with. I don’t think he’s ready for offensive production though.
-
Agree with all that. Cole might go on for Ayer’s, di 7th ol could come off, Adam’s for bridges, case/lucky, kyrie for biggie.
-
Jake especially on the nose sure makes it hard on lbers. In a 3tech with woods or Adam’s on the 1 would go a long way to helping. 3 years 3 games lol. And now we have no useful globals. Rip.
-
It’s a big difference between carrying a 7th ni ol and burning a di for the 7th ol too
-
We don’t have any beefy lbers, and kyrie is the only guy who can get off a block or scrape to the run. All the rest get washed out easily.
-
If kyrie is ready use him as a naturalized imp would be huge too. This roster could vary wildly
-
Yeah pretty much. Also reallly rough to go from 6 games to 18 in general. Especially for a dl.
