Arrrrebbblloooowwwss Hey guys did you know bc beat them self last week? Lol
-
We’ve talked about how huge an advantage we have in games played on the ol, I wonder what the numbers are for games coached by our staff vs the argos.
-
🤮 waiting for the next wave of tsn retirements. Not worried about mos. But boy I expect some 3dn / tsn tire pumping on him going back east.
-
100%. Kadeem butler Brady and a healthy stanback are the top 4 backs in the league. I think morrow and hickson in Regina would top 5 with touches too.
-
We didn’t use adams a lot or well since we got both Jeff’s back. More beef inside is only a good thing. And yeah sayles off the edge is no joke now. I like oullete but Brady had more yards than those two combined. Ssk and mtl have better rb tandems. Maybe Calgary too. id love to see oullete on a heavy run team to see what he can really do at some point.

agree. For team runners coming on these forums, I would assume they do it some to take the pulse of die hard fans some times. Maybe try to scavenge information about training camp cuts of value, perhaps some gossip about why vets might be benched hurt cut etc. And a limited few (maciocia cough cough) to soak in the adoration when they win. And even that much I would think is greatly reduced from say tamans era. I don’t think any coach or team runner is coming onto forums to look for any kind of edge.

Most importantly none of them are going to deviate from what they know how to coach. Better strategy exists especially in terms of offense but no one is going to go out side their comfort zone or try last second to get their players to do so. It’s easy to say steal play design from the ravens but even with the detailed design it’s hard to coach some thing you don’t have experience in. That’s why all the play books are soo vanilla in the cfl in general.

He’s progressed a lot. As a guard I think he could easily start next year or this year on some teams. The mafia very seldom miss on ol picks. And he’s about as high end a prospect as we’ve had.

Beep boop beep, would you be interested in working from home for 118$ an for amazons.com? 😆 Our game plan to win should be lots of play action setting up timing routes and screens then runs and deep shots. If collaros is good to run include roll outs. He loves the throw on the run. On defense basically do what we’ve been doing but keep biggie in the middle and move Willy around.

Were any of the coaches alive during that game? Haha dinwiddie would probably need to add the age of one of his other coaches to reach back that far.

On offense I would body up Wj. Don’t let him run around and do what he wants. Make him have to get off a block to make a play on every snap. Double jeffcoat. Flex and motion through the back field a lot to stretch biggie sideline to sideline in the pass game and take him out of the a gaps in the run game. Double moves at rose all day, don’t throw over the middle unless it’s a fast slant 3 step drop stuff. Attack the dbs cushion quickly and make a move don’t allow them to stay in the back peddle and look at the qb. On defense, I’d start out with cover zero and see what collaros mobility is like. If it’s bad overload sides and take direct lines to him. If it’s good, Gap cancel and play scrape exchange / sit and slash depending on personnel at de and lber if he’d ok. That’ll stretch the run and sweeps to the side line and give you a contain option for collaros. Zach is as much an old school down field throwing gambler as it gets. Show blitz and drop, rotate into robber, and do what our secondary does best. Cushion and stay in back peddle so you can jump balls. Bait him and under stand the scramble priorities. We trap a lot of dbs into chasing wrs instead of switching and staying deep/ shallow to take away.

I 100% expect to see some regression when ever he plays his second year. Long run if he sticks in the cfl he will be really good but it’s going to be a while before he returns to this years production.
-
I wonder if they repeat the mike Reilly mistake and really breaks the bank for him.
-
Gaaammmee daaayyyy! Go blue time to go 1-0 again!
-
Buck this year alone has grown the offense and playbook soo much more than plop has in his entire career. Plop would’ve never survived with our early season run and mid season ol struggles. Buck showed more ability to use a running qb plop could muster the entire time streveler was here. no doubt as an offensive coach buck has surpassed plop by a lot. Plop though is an excellent player coach. I don’t think buck is close to ready to be a hc. ott should look hard at khari. I wouldn’t be surprised if they offered Chris jones money to hank though.

I feel like blm will get a lot of money maybe Harris etc I think vaj and cf get 300k range.
-
I feel like it wasn’t soo long ago that they would’ve come out in droves to host a gc no matter how the riders were. Now I feel like a bad start to next year will lead to Edmonton level attendance problems.
-
What’s the story behind that!
-
I wonder what kind of money he gets. Do they give him collaros money? I feel like they will.
-
Luck wasn’t a factor in collaros play though. Best football play might be jeffcoat being held by one arm strip sacking evans with the other.
-
Just what he does I suppose. Especially when he's discounted. Look out argos, might be a kurt schilling bloody sock type game.

Its the bombers play of my life time for me. We've had lots of great ones, but that was a total franchise changer. I wasn't a fan of getting collaros when I first heard about it. His interviews in regina at the start of that year, and the injuries, Man I thought he was done. Like, done done. When the play happened I was west side, upper deck mid field ish with my then gf now wife. She became a fan the previous year and really took to the blue fast. When the play happened a bunch of people around me started high fiving each other and us, and the person sitting behind me (all total strangers to me.) gave me a huge hug from behind. I was in shock. My brain just starting to comprehend that we may have just completed the puzzle after soo long. We had the incredible defense that had battled injuries and changes. The whole offense, wrs, harris the OL. Now we had the dynamic td out of nothing QB. Khari and glenn did great things here. Each of them had great careers. Both of them brought us to grey cups as the best team in the league, both mop caliber performances. Out side of that year glenn never felt like the best qb in the league and kharis flame burned soo bright but for such a short time. Both times we had that spark at qb the rest just didn't line up. In that moment it felt like every thing clicked and at just the right time. I thought the 19 bombers team was only under dogs due to injuries and excessive adversity. But that adversity forged the team we have now. Every phase played like they had to carry the team to a win single handedly. And going into the 19 play offs we suddenly had a defense and 99% of an offense ready and capable of carrying the team, and a QB who could carry us. Plus, a back up qb who in 10 ish snaps a game could completely change the complexion of the game. As a franchise and dynasty, that was our tom brady moment.

Kind of a great X factor story in this game is the crowd. 17:54 ferguson talks about is saskatchewan the great cfl market they claim, or just self centric rider fans? I've been seeing a huge barnstorm of rider fans selling off their GC tickets. It will be very interesting to see what the crowd and mood is like in the stands of the GC. Sure does. Not surprised at no roster changes. Pretty happy with how that roster looks for the most part too.
-
It says a lot that the media isn’t saying any thing about this either. Bunch of yesmen fanboys with an agenda. Watch schoen win mop in the grey cup and absolutely go off. Just like Harris in 19.

That sounds awesome I’m gonna have to try that.
