  1. F$&@ing knew it would happen too
  2. Ludicrously soft. The cfl has had a real issue with letting things get too chippy after the play and now their in action is leading to crap like this after the game. I’d suspend judge for the remainder of the regular season and whitehead for 3 games. Then some one gamers to guys trying to jack any one up by the locker room or parking lot. Then tack on a max fine to every one involved.
  3. 100% I think they are good enough to slide through the remainder of the season keeping 2nd spot and host Calgary in the west semi. But I don’t see them winning that game. Little on being a threat to take first. I do think that the west semi might be the best game of the play offs and the winner will easily be better than the Toronto defaultonaughts in the east.
  4. I like both guys as players. As people I’d trust lucky far more than judge. That said while chirping family is wrong (and happens all the time though not threateningly) is not grounds for that type of thuggish action. If it had been soo bad he would’ve Re acted in game imo. that said the cfl should’ve come down much harder. On every one involved. Didn’t Todd bertuzzi see an attempted criminal prosecution? should’ve been a few suspensions and a bunch of fines. You have to come down hard on that type of crap.
  5. More desjarlais less dyson.
  6. Agree. We being in some imp ol every year at this point. I think it’s mostly early camp auditions though we are critically thin on ol depth right now. fornadel also isnt a guy brought in on a whim. He’s a bad dude. He was a part of one of the best pass blocking ols with the dukes. He has an incredibly strong upper body. Needs to be less reliant on it. But he does have good foot work too. He’s quicker than he tests he can get down field and keep the pile moving and he’s really nasty. Just how the mafia likes it. He’s a blue chip tackle prospect. I think he could project much better to the cfl game vs the nfl. Won’t see the huge des that are crazy athletes the yard off the ball might play into his style as well.
  7. Yeah his frequent description as stocky but listing as 5 10 and 188 leads me to think he’s likely a bit shorter than that. from what I saw he had excellent testing numbers though. 38” vert 10’+ broad 4.3-4.4 40. I’m guessing we will see both new dbs get a shot this year.
  8. Texada is an elite run jump athlete. Track guy in hs and college sounds like a high motor work ethic guy. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Raleigh-Texada-CB-Baylor https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/.amp/news/undrafted-free-agents-raleigh-texada-tre-sterling-could-add-depth-to-packers-secondary
  9. Made a few good deals. they are looking to make high quality moves not high quantity I’m sure.
  10. He has been, but still less than rose all year. He certainly needs improvement or a better option I think we will see that in the next two weeks. But his issues are a fraction of the greater issues. No pressure no one making big plays no gap cancellation etc.
  11. Honestly rookies haven’t been the big problem at db. Just like it wasn’t a problem last year. One to two stops in the 4th certainly win the game. Also that ridiculous fumble for a td. We were very close in what ended up a blow out. Big injuries combined with big turn over on defense. It’s a tall order for any team. If we had these injuries but also still had guys like kongbo and alford we might have no loses this year. I thought about that option too. Stick a guy like Dobson on the nose and watch the defense rebound very quickly. brandin Bryant is a fa iirc. I think drake Nevis is a fa too but who knows if he is in shape. Honestly it’s not hard to find a young imp dt who can play nose in the cfl.
  12. 1 the depth has yes. From key loses in the off season to mounting injuries. 2 more than one way to fix it. The best option is to try to bring in pieces that fit what we do and adjust. We run the same run fits now as we did with stove and other nose tackles and it just doesn’t work. 3 no but it’s as big a part as any thing 4 no 5 yes 6 we need guys to rotate and keep the level of play high. Our useage of the young des hasn’t been good but we need more production as well. 7 neither. You can blitz a lot and be great or seldom blitz and be great. Problem is we don’t have lbers who are effective pass rushers. Sending one and two guys frequently doesn’t accomplish much. It just makes the passes easy. 8 too late to fix? Certainly not. Time to panic? Also no. 9 the mafia do as good a job of scouting as any one. Not a problem on that end. We always have strange poor useage of depth spots though not usually in our front 7. We can’t expect to get enough pressure with our front four to force early passes. But we also can’t expect much value from blitzing the way we do currently. not exactly. Winning on the road leading into a buy after a blow out win at home is really really hard. Harder than sweeping a home n home back to back. We are very banged up and thin on experienced depth to begin with. we need one or two big dts that can play nose. We need atleast one more good pass rusher, we need a true mac lber who can shed blocks and leave biggie clean. And we need a couple more bodies at db. if kyrie gets healthy that goes a long ways for the lbers. If jeffcoat can get 100% healthy that’d be huge but he fights injuries every year. If we got kongbo back that’s go far too.
  13. Dl got exposed. We need a big dt / nose and some de depth. We need a bunch of depth right now actually. Our ir could turn some bad teams into contenders.
  14. The fact we didn’t use the late game to Get those guys experience and take the chance to evaluate those guys in game is infuriating. Should be used to stuff like that. We never pull the starters too early no matter what. As well as questionable depth use and roster management. We have every thing we need to fix the issues. Plenty of time nfl cut down time pre trade dead line and plenty of assets to leverage. Our biggest dl is like 287. It’s puzzling. We’ve done such a great job of finding interior dl especially guys who can play nose. This year we didn’t bring in any.
  15. Honestly he was the defacto modp in 2021. He got nominated as a leader on that generational defense so he instantly won. It should’ve been ba. Wj with all the pass kds would’ve made much more sense too. Alford should’ve been in front of him too. at this point he has the ability to play in coverage but he just can’t be taking on blocks blitzing and eating gaps other than on goal line plays. he could be a full time s with ba moving back to a full time cover spot or since we deploy him as a wil soo much get a big true mac who can beat blocks or get off them. problem is we basically have two wils with no real Mac and no real nose tackle to eat two blocks and be effective. Biggie needs to be playing off the line and even at the back of the tackle Box. even last years great defense with out stove gave up lots of big plays in the run game.
  16. This is the crunch of the game.
  17. 1 schoen tried to carry us 2 Sheed tremendous effort again 3 Brady and boo great efforts and production hh that this game ended. Burn the tape get healthy and bring in some air lifts during the by week. A loss isn’t a surprise. After a blow out before a buy on the road with nothing to gain vs a team fighting for life. But the way it happened is gross.
  18. Getting beat is one thing. Getting reamed while failing with no adjustments in every aspect of the game is another.
  19. This we now have to put a lber playing fb at wr. So kinda is.
  20. Yeah that one’s really strange.
  21. Bailey too
  22. Not Gmac too omg
  23. Yeah. Wild amount of injuries.
  24. D schoen dalton s roadhouse
  25. See above, we need depth. Not replacements.
