  1. That kid is made out of some impressive stuff.
  2. Habba off for fox would be a huge win. Hope Adams is good to go. Wallace and feltmate will make for a tough call. Feltmate brings a lot on teams and blocking but Wallace would be our best G off the bench if any one goes down other than kola. I’d love to see a 30 front with woods fox and Adams. Good luck.
  3. What’s crazy is there’s even more. His mom played d1 basketball and his dad played football at temple lol. Clearly a deep strong lineage of excelling both academically and athletically. Very impressive family.
  4. Pretty accurate but a bit out of date, that’s from when he was still like 276, before he went up. Played right side with duke mostly. He’s a solid 4 spot guy but rt is where he’s best.
  5. Played 3 years at Stanford before transferring to duke. He’s played 4 positions on the ol, just not centre. Hes a natural rt. 6’5 300 lbs was with the colts for a cup of coffee. Pretty highly touted out of hs but prioritized education. Academic allstar type. Also played basketball in hs.
  6. A tackle! Finally lol. got paid moderately well to hold a clipboard and get coffee lol.
  7. He is, but not exclusively. Don is where he got the whole pressure pack, and the Don used guys like Willy long before stubler. 2000s and late 90s stubler was all about those blitz packages. As soon as he left the argos those went out the window.
  8. It is not a version of what stubler ran Lol. Stubler used a 3-4 to send exotic blitz packages, and his coverage was true zone with guys blanketing first down range to take away the intermediate pass. Not deep quarters and match zone/slit field zone. The commitment to bend but don’t break drop 9 came after stubler left the argos. Stublers D was about pressure. He picked up his primary base concept from Don Mathew’s in 1990 on the argos. None of that has to do with the point or claim made in any of the posts.
  9. Did you miss the previous week? Or that we are in the bottom tier of run D stats? Giving up 100+ rush yards a game, 1500 rush yards surrendered going into this week, and 5.4 a pop? Given up the most big play rushes in the league? We are on track to give up almost 2000 yards rushing this year on D. If you think what ever team we play don’t be game planning around running the ball THAT is foolish.
  10. At some point the organization needs to be punished. Doc a draft pick, suspend mace/oday, atleast a large fine something.
  11. I think that WJ is a big decision too. He makes massive money and really needs limited reps and to be restricted in his role. He coasts soo damn much playing for pass kds, and is horrid at run stopping. If we want to be a full time 30 front team, we’d be better off finding big 3/4i tech types who can bull rush. Going forward with fox, Lawson, Adams, woods, schmekel, hubert and one more imp dl would be ideal. Casey sayles back would be sick. I seriously wonder if we win a ship, does zach retire? I think it’s a strong possibility.
  12. I could see that. If we win and the injury is gonna be a tough recovery. He turns 30 before next camp. He could honestly retire or play 5 more years all depending on what we wants.
  13. Wow that’s soo much more pathetic than I could’ve imagined.
  14. I think the only limitation on that is you’d need to find another kr position. I don’t think you carry a di kr wr and a di rotational wr. If you could find a dime db who is also a good kr that’d be sick.
  15. I don’t know how any team can walk away from Kenny. No wr in the league has to ability to make the catches lawler does. Hes the only guy who can moss dbs. He gives you a chance on every play no matter the coverage. I wonder if we would dangle a guy like Wilson in a trade. I like wheatfall a bit better but both are good players. Wilson just succeeds and has great potential. It’s a great problem to have. I wouldn’t mind at all going into next year with every one in the wr core. Never know when any one could get hurt.
  16. The entire wr core was playing excellent. Every one got in on it with some big plays. No question I take dalton back when healthy. It does beg the question though, what do we do in the off season? I believe lawler is a fa in the off season isn’t he? I’d be happy to bring him back, but it has to be at a good discount. Schoen is maybe the most valuable for his ability to become a pressure release and find openings when zach gets pressure. That was key for zach over the last two years. Lawler gives you the ability to dominate and beat the D the whole night like last night. I’d let Wilson and wheatfall fight for a starting spot next year.
  17. The difference is how many big plays we gave up. 4 different players with huge plays, 25, 47, 42, and 37 yards. Rankin had two huge runs of 30+ yards then brown had a 25. That’s pretty wild. We got gouged bad on the ground again despite being well ahead. We need to clean up gap cancelling and getting off blocks as well as tackling.
  18. Farhan “he had to catch that ball twice!” reality, he dropped it and the ground caught it lol.
  19. Even the elk players reaction was priceless. Haha yes. Just like, oh damn! Some one needs to gif that. His ancestors … “look what they did to my boy!” .meme
  20. It’s funny. If the O had played an average game for this year tonight, we probably lose. D has a bit of a tough night, the O goes to defcon 1 and nukes the crap out of the elk. Great teams get hot at the right time and find ways to win. If the O can stay reasonably hot it’s gonna be a hell of a play offs.
  21. Plus two Canadian dbs. Pretty wild. As much as he’s a favorite player, he’s a favorite person too.
  22. Idk what was more trying, the pbp, the commercials or Liu.
  23. Dodged a bullet. Ick.
  24. 1 zach 432 6 tds historic game classic mop form 2 lawler/demski 247 yards 4 tds. 3 the ol. Dominant performance by the big boys. Zach had all day, Brady had great gaps hh Adam’s blowing up the short yardage play forcing a turn over block of the game. Lofton on the first deep td pass crunch of the game. Clercius on two elk after gaining a first. honourable mentions, Brady, wheatfall, kramdi, Ayers.
